Well Russia, china and usa are first world countries, while India is a third world country where almost majority of the population is impoverished, so don't even think about bringing India into the picture, India's influence is only due to its huge population and huge amount of fertile arable land, apart from that India is in comparison to African countries, proud indian 😂. I m also Indian but I live in a slum in Mumbai.

Learn about ancient Chinese history and you will understand the result of China becoming a world leader. China has been at the top of the world for almost all but the last two hundred years and has treated foreign countries with more emphasis on cultural and economic exchanges rather than war. By the early 15th century, Chinese fleets had crossed Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean to the east coast of Africa, but the Chinese chose commodity trading over the slave trade😂

So, the author knows of "China's Century of Humiliation", which is like the collective memory of the Jewish Holocaust to the Chinese, and basically accuses them of holding a grudge against dominant Western colonial powers, and then projects his own imagination by saying that if they are allowed to rise to the No.1, China would in one way or the other become like Imperial Japan or Nazi Germany. It is mind-blowing how petty the authors' 19th-century Western mind is compared to the strategic mind of the modern Chinese people.

I think what we are seeing with the decline in the USA, is the failure to effectively deploy its plan to fight two wars, Simultaneously. Probably didn't account for Chinese military growth rate properly. Also, the cultural changes within the USA that shifted ppl away from enlisting. The USA has to reserve for China, and therefore has less to give to Ukraine. When the rest of the world starts realizing this, more fights will break out amongst all countries east of Poland(hopefully) .

This is a thoughtful analysis. Where my view differs is the assumption that China would behave like the US. I think a more apt comparison is to look at how past Chinese dynasties behaved when they were at the apex of their power. At least for President Xi, it seems he most admires the Tang Dynasty, as showcased by the inaugural China-Central Asia Summit in May 2023 in Xi'an, former capital of the Tang dynasty. Mr Xi also seems more interested in trade than military. The BRI is itself a modern reincarnation of the Silk Road (although BRI was partly to offload excess manufacturing capability). I don't know enough Chinese history to comment whether a Tang approach to hegemony is better than a US approach. But I do hear that historians seem to think fondly of the Tang dynasty. And I bet it was less brutal overall than the Yuan dynasty (aka the Mongols).

Chances of China becoming the #1 power is slim? I think you severely underestimate them. They are already leading in almost of the 44 critical technologies, have a super healthy budget in the central government, is a net creditor nation, and has 400-500m more people to urbanise. It's not obvious to people yet that China is already overtaking the US militarily. But give it a few years and it'll become more obvious.

This video’s premise is already flawed2 1/2 mins into watching it. Firstly, China has absolutely NO desire to be the world’s policeman. It’s a bad ‘career’ move and Chinese, being a Civilisation nation, are too smart to take in such a lose-lose strategic move. One has to know how the Chinese think in order to understand this point. The Chinese don’t care about colonisation and imposing their political system on other nations, unlike the U.S., which does so ALL over the world. The second flaw, is that Russia has already been pushed into the Chinese sphere. They are now in lock-step in dismantling the unipolar, hegemony of the Americans, Europeans and other Western allies (Canada, Australia, NZ, Japan, S Korea, The Philippines). I live in Singapore and because of the U.S.-China conflict, (started by the Americans), it is important for us in Singapore to maintain a balanced and unbiased view of both the US and China. There is so much anti-China propaganda, misinformation and biased views on China coming out of the American and European media and their respective governments; especially from the Anglophile nations. It’s probably because the CIA’s propaganda machine - through the American media, has pumped USD $90 billion to create this anti-China narrative. Americans now view China as the newest ‘boogeymen’. Poor Russia, and the now defunct Soviet Union, are unfortunately, American’s perpetual boogeyman. Japan was one too in the 70s and 80s. This channel’s content creator appear to not be immune to the anti-China brainwashing, propaganda and narrative disseminated by the CIA. There are individual Americans and Europeans, mostly well-informed and seasoned economists, academics, etc who are pushing back and telling the truth. News sites like Ground News are great because the news websites are categorised as leaning left, right or neutral. Neutral and UNBIASED sites are the best places to get well-rounded and unvbiased facts and information.

Biases, not knowledge is driving this analysis. The realities are very different. There 2 very different scenarios that would play out for a dominant China. 1) China is left alone to grow at its own pace and plan. China will become dominant in the region from sheer size of economy and military power, sometime 2050s. This will happen in the absence of any trade or cooperation with west, China has already reach near self-sufficiency within BRI and BRICS+. 2) China rise thru a war with the US. The trigger could be Taiwan, Japan or the Philippines but is irrelevant. The result is the same, these 3 countries will be degraded militarily and economically and Taiwan comes under Chinese administration. This could take 1 war or 2, a deterred China will just try again until it wins. I predict 2 wars will be necessary. China will likely dominate before 2040 if this happens but will end up being more militarily heavy than economic. The US is essentially is a very large self-sustained country and will continue to dominate northern America and western Europe. Over time, East and West will learn to live with each other independently. Both would find it suicidal to attack each other's mainland. And before 2100, all would be forgiven and money will drive geopolitics instead of war.
