Gotta still give Nintendo some respect, I used to have the same mindset but the additional brawl song, brawl trophy, then the updated Isaac assist in ultimate along with the spirits is still amazing compared to what a lot of nintendo handheld characters got.

I’d wish for an Advance Wars character in Andy or Sami and especially to have Advance Wars music in Smash because all it ever got was the Infantry and Tanks Assist Trophy.

@@theinfinitygamingteam Thank you! Chances are low. I haven't setup the tools yet to mess with Ultimate mods and I will probably never touch Smash 4 again lol.

Adding bomberman without the amazingly cool bombs he gets in Second Attack is a missed opportunity, definitely the coolest thing to come from the Bomberman franchise with the possible exception of the soundtrack for Hero. In this timeline, I'd hope Viewtiful Joe could make it in too. Then maybe I'll vacation to this timeline sometime.

They made a prototype for Kid Icarus called Icarus on the Wii, but never came out.

This is amazing, I can’t imagine how massively different Smash 4 and Ultimate would be in this timeline, the rosters would be massive!

I think in this timeline a lot of the Deluexe mii costumes from Ultimate like Vault Boy, Cuphead and sans could be playable characters. But also maybe other Indies like Hollow Knight, Shantae, Shovel Knight, Freddy Fazbear and Bendy joining the roster!

Yay! Yeah much deserved. As well as, obviously, all of the individual contributors and base mods involved... but I'll let Remix's credits handle that. lol

This is probably a bit *too* blessed, haha. If we did live in such a timeline, I'd imagine we'd get about half of what you imagined. The roster feels like PMEX Remix, but unironically better in my opinion.

Haha yeah it's pretty fan-fic-like. Thank you! Yeah I tried to make this more focused on the 2006 and prior era, which in my opinion cuts out a lot of the bloat and unnecessary characters.

I like the inclusion of Waluigi and Sukapon! I hope they become fighters some day.

70 Characters? Your list seems unrealistic and you also said that the game would release earlier which is crazy. I don't think Bandai Namco worked on Brawl so their team was a lot smaller. Seems like you threw logic out the window.

Well I justified it by saying development started way earlier, and it was built on the same engine as Melee. But obviously logic is thrown out the window, in the very beginning of the video I said this has no bearing on reality and was made just for fun.

I noticed the only Brawl character who didn't appear in SSB Deluxe was Lucario, though I had to look at the CSS for a little bit before it clicked. The game coming out in 2006 did it in; 1 more year and it'd have a shot again.

That's correct. While in the newest Smash titles, adding imminently released Pokemon was a staple, I think by 2006 it wouldn't necessarily have been the practice. Also, now a proper gen 3 rep gets to shine! 🙌

As hard as this is to imagine being a plausible reality in another timeline...the roster inmediately made me realize that this video is using PMEX Remix as a base, which is definitely a very fun choice knowing how much stuff that mod crammed on top of P+'s base, and its still pretty cool that you present these mod projects via a "what-if" screnario for these being official products :)

And the Subspace Emissary, It'll be either be the same like in this timeline but with new characters or something different that are taking cues from Super Smash Bros. for Gamecube's Adventure Mode and made it even bigger and more brand as you mentioned in the video? :)

I would love to see someone reanimate and add new scenes to Subspace Emissary with all these characters. I would feel complete if I could see that in full

Nintendo embracing the competitive scene...man oh man... and imagine if Samox still released the documentary in 2013. Not only would the Melee/Brawl communities be one (meaning a MUCH bigger unified scene) but sponsorships, deals, etc would sky rocket. I'm convinced to say Nintendo would make more money than they are now lol. It'd be funny seeing an alternate timeline where Mang0 is in grand finals with Ally.

Hilarious, I'm not sure about that. Maybe in this universe "Smash Bros." and "Deluxe" fans could have coexisted, but Brawl and Melee play so differently, I think we're kidding ourselves if we think their would be much crossover.

I really do love these What-if videos! The roster shown here is fantastic. And, while I know the stuff shown here is from other mods, I would honestly love to see a mod that takes heavy inspiration from this showcase. There are some questions that I would like to ask involving this version of Brawl if that’s fine. 1. Would each fighter from the roster get one costume because of Samus’ appearance during the Metroid gameplay at 8:54? 2. While you’ve shown some new stages in this video, what would the complete stage list be for this timeline of Brawl? 3. Do you consider Target Test and Classic mode for this game to be similar to either timeline of Melee? 4. Was the reason Mega Man X got added to the roster instead of the one from Smash 4 and Ultimate because there isn’t a character import of him for Brawl yet?

1. Heck yeah! 2. I thought about covering it, but it seemed too daunting. 3. Ideally of course it would be like Melee's, yeah. Especially if it was "Deluxe". 4. Yes, I wanted it to be Mega Man proper, not X, but didn't want to import a shoddy port, but rather would use the polished X made for PM.

I haven't reached part 3 of the series yet, and I'm already perplexed by the fact that almost every Smash 4 and Ultimate character are already in the roster. Like, who could POSSIBLY be next?

Nice video! I enjoyed it very much, just like the first one of this format. If it were me, I'd make the character roster a bit smaller, and swap out some of the new choices with others (namely Lyn and Krystal) and some of the characters that are featured here would instead be featured in a later game. But hey, it's your video and not mine, so I won't pry on it too much. I'm curious to see how different Smash 4 and Ultimate could have been if we lived in a universe such as this.

Happy 15th Anniversary, Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

This is how Metroid should have been represented back in Brawl when the franchise still was in its golden age, I still find it baffling how they didn't put Dark Samus which was an easy addition and by now her moveset would have differed more just like Luigi, and of course Ridley who I understand probably was a hard addition during Brawl but still. Nice on adding Castlevania too, for some reason I feel like it was a missing 3rd party franchise in Smash for too long considering it's closely tied with Nintendo.

I can see mii's and villiager still not being included due to brawl being the 1st time they would have been considered, pacman would've probably been asked about by miyamoto and denied by sakurai around the 1st game in this timeline instead so he gets a pass here.

Smash 4 is up next for the Blessed Timeline. Maybe that game will give us characters like Dante from DMC, or Zael from The Last Story. Maybe even Ayumi Tachibana or Athena Asamiya or even Lili De Rochfort. Dang it, now im just getting myself very excited. I really would like to see.

I like this, because if i were to make a smash game for everyone that would be broadly appealing it would probably play a lot like a halfway of stuff from brawl and melee, the only melee thing i would've removed in L-Cancelling purely for accessibility sake and since it's one of the mechanics with less impact. Good newcomer choices as well, excellent video.

Thank you! Why not do the PM solution which is a toggle for auto-L-canceling? Since Sakurai included "smooth landing" in the first two games he released, and in this timeline this is Smash game #2, I figured he would have kept it in.

5:31 That's X, not Mega Man. Seems like you got mixed up on them, the Mega Man we officially have in Smash is Rock aka Classic Mega Man, X is his successor in the series' timeline and one of the Mega Men in his Final Smash.

So, if you're willing to do a brawl video, is there any chance you're ever going to cover the other Non-HAL smash games? Personally, something like if Smash 4 never came to the 3DS interests me, if they never had to put the resources into that version and had the manpower of both games' dev teams, as well as not needing to account for the 3DS' limitations, how would the game have turned out? That's always something I've thought about. Edit: Wait was Brawl made by HAL? Tbh I can't remember anymore, I swear it wasn't tho, if it is I really need to refresh my knowledge on the history of this franchise.

@@Helios2737 There's no doubt the 3DS version held the Wii U version back. People enjoy Smash Run and I get that, but overall it did more harm that good. Imagine if they could have poured those resources into the Wii U version. Of course the 3DS version sold better, so financially it was the right choice. Still... haha.

@@davidvkimball Yeah! Smash Run is like, the one thing that made 3DS worth it. The novelty of playing Smash on a console barely bigger than an iPhone was certainly there but like, it wore off fast. I think if the game had only been on WiiU it would've been way worse financially, but the game would've been significantly better, and possibly might've actually sold more WiiUs

My only complaints about this roster are the absence of Tails and the fact that X is the Mega Man represented instead of the classic one (that's just my personal preference), but other than that, the only characters I would say are missing are the ones whose absences make sense: the Animal Crossing reps (this was before Sakurai thought they could work in a fighting game), Crash Bandicoot (licensing conflict and this was before he was cool again) and anyone who didn't exist back when this game would've come out. It fixes almost all the problems I had with the blessed Melee roster. Also, how the heck are they going to make a coherent Subspace Emissary with a roster this big? Edit: So turns out X being on the roster was meant to be Mega Man classic. It was just an oversight. Well that's one less issue I have with this timeline now.

Even in that timeline, Banjo and Kazooie went from Rareware reps to Microsoft reps.

LESSGOOO? A SEQUEL??? Truly awesome, honestly this would be such a Goated timeline.. AND I CAN PLAY IT, TOO? (fr PMEX is so good) now I only wonder…. would 4th party be on the table in this universe?

Look, i get it's to help with video formatting and experiencing but don't use mods as a crutch when designing rosters, with Melee as the first, I could realistically see those characters happening but this feels a lot more obvious mainly: Toon Link being a fan favorite when 2 other Links existing Blazekin being in the game when there is another fully evolved fire starter right next to it. Palutena has a moveset, who unlike Pit wasn't playable and didn't have much to work with. Castlevania having two unique characters the first time around. Sub-Zero being around when ratings issues exist. Sora being playable despite Disney. There are limits to suspension of disbelief, sorry.

1 - Nintendo would realistic want to promote wind waker, Sakurai likes to add clone characters to make the roster bigger, Toon Link is a safe pick for both sides. 2 - I don't think Nintendo characters about which type of Pokémon they add in the game, if they did, we would had Decidueye instead of Incineroar in Ultimate (also a Ghost type, because it's baffled that till this day Smash never had a Ghost type Pokémon). 3 - I agree with Palutena, but Sakurai could make something for her if he want to, but the chances of the moveset being the exact same of Smash 4/Ultimate are kinda low. 4 - It depends on the development time, if it has enough time to develop both, i think they would add both, but yeah, adding 3 Castlevania characters could be a stretch, but if they had extra time, sure. 5 - Snake is also from an M Rated game, so, i don't see the problem with Sub-Zero, unless you mean something else? 6 - It was said on an interview that the issue with Sora getting in Smash was not Disney, but Square, there's also the fact that Sora is a character that need both companies to agree on everything for the character to be added, which must be awful, it's not too unrealistic for Sora to get in, i think the bigger problem is to have both Sora and Hero/Erdrick at once, 2 Square characters with Square being so problematic to work with might be a stretch.

@@banjo9158 Mortal Kombat is way more brutal than Metal Gear. It's more closer to Resident Evil, which is censored in Japan. As for Blazekin, my thought process is that he's too generic, Incineroar at least represented a fighting style that hadn't been fully represented. Personally, I would've gone with Swampert, it's a fully evolved water type that has a secondary typing of ground.

​@@alleycatgaming5433 I don't think that would still give any rating issues, M Rated is M Rated, no matter what, might be harder to go through some issues here and there to make it work, but it's definetly doable. hell, i don't even doubt Residnet Evil would be possible even if it's more mature than Metal Gear, Resident Evil even have spirits in Smash, so i don't think there is an issue there, is that really your only concern? I understand wanting to choose someone else over Blaziken, hell, i think Gardevoir would be a better pick, i don't really care about Pokémon characters needing to be starters, Gardevoir is very popular, Gardevoir is a more female looking Pokémon which is good for more female representation and variety, Gardevoir could have a fun and unique moveset. But i think Blaziken back then was still more popular (safe to say Gardevoir is more popular nowadays because of... REASONS, but those... REASONS, weren't as spread out and as big as it is nowadays because of only few people having acess to internet, 2006 was a whole other world pretty much), and Nintendo would more likely choose him over everyone else, i think even Sakurai would, it's just the more likely outcome, it sucks, but it is what it is, although i don't think Blaziken is a bad inclusion overall, there's just better options.

It's in Dolphin. Mostly just resolution and some of the advanced settings like filtering.

Seeing Daisy, King K Rool, Dark Samus, Ridley, Terry, Kazuya, Sephiroth, Banjo-Kazooie, Dragón Quest Hero and Sora in the roster. This looks like If Brawl was Ultimate.

Will there be a part 2 towards this video?

do you know where a good guide is to get Codename melee deluxe to work (unless i've done something REALLY wrong and it's nothing more difficult than any other brawl mod) because I can't figure this out.

Do you know what are the links for the characters polls?

If ðis timeline is getting a sequel, can ðe oðer timelines get ðeirs too? I especially want to see what a sequel to ðe six more monþs timeline would be, as I find ðat timeline to be my favorite of ðe þree.

surprised not to see dixie, toon zelda, tetra, and krystal given the fact that they all were either considered or actually had data in the game but were scrapped, also while I would understand that this would be before gen 4's release date in this time line and understand, I do miss lucario rip. though I can see the game still getting a delay since the 1st delay was about the story mode as opposed to sonic. actually the story mode to this would more interesting like imagine king k rool, wolf, black shadow, sephiroth, dark samus, ridley (even if he already was), waluigi, and kazuya were working alongside bowser, ganondorf, and wario under tabuu.

Hey, I see that you are still responding to comments I only have one question Why not silver instead of knuckles in this hypothetical game? Sonic 06 would’ve coincided with this release, do you not think that sega would ask for smash to endorse their new character? Thank you very much for this video

If there was one character that I wanted in smash was ryu hyabusa from (ninja gaiden) and is mind blown to me that we never got a dlc, mii suit, or even a trophy at any point in the smash series but yet his games started on nes and even team ninja help made a few games with nintendo but snake in the same way starting out on nes as well, was able to make it into the games. btw no dr. eggman trips me out how that iconic villain also never made it either is wild and poor waluigi fans who really wanted him in the games too.

He was planned to be in at one point, But Sakurai thought he was to "Far Fetched." (Due to thinking of PAC-MAN's more iconic pizza shaped design, rather than the Arms and Legs design.) I'm so glad he made it in smash 4!

how come Little Mac doesnt have his classic NES look? I thought Brawl came out a year before Punch Out

1.) Looks like Waluigi got a chance to be playable in Smash in this timeline. Come to think of it, who’ll take Waluigi’s assist trophy spot in this timeline? Could it be Piranha Plant? 2.) With Pac-Man in Brawl in this timeline, does his moveset happen to be inspired from either Pac-Man World, Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, or both of these games? 3.) Is it possible that in the third game for this timeline, could the newcomers included be Lip (Panel de Pon), Rayman, Mach Rider, and maybe Mrs. Pac-Man?

How about smash 4 and ultimate what would those games look like in the bless timeline Ofcorse every fighter in the bless timeline would be in the bless timeline version of smash ultimate But what else

The only things I see as unrealistic are: Little Mac being in his design from Punch-Out!! Wii, And Lucas being in his Mother 3 design despite Earthbound 64 having been released.
