Well, unlike Padmé, Shaak Ti can avoid death by making her death scenes deleted, so Anakin wouldn't be scared and fall to the Darkside. But Sidious would then try to take her as his apprentice to become immortal himself

But the title kind of implies that they do end up in love with each other, so that is probably what some people were expecting (and wanting) to see. This was more like, “What if Shaak Ti was a mother figure to Anakin?”

I think a good what if story could: “What if Palpatine took Mother Talzin as his apprentice instead of Maul.” If I remember correctly, Palpatine promised Talzin to make her his apprentice; then he betrayed Talzin and took her son Maul.

Yeah but it's natural for Sith Apprentice to betray their masters after gaining enough powers. Talzin would do what is expected of her. She does exactly that in the show, just through other means, as she gained more powers on Dathomir. Now if she did get training from Sidious, she would've been even more powerful and probably unstoppable.

Basically "what if Anakin was a man of culture".

A thought that just popped into my mind. It’s often mentioned, by various Star Wars KZreadrs, that to the majority of the Republic simply being a Sith was not illegal. How might the prequels have been different if Sith could live openly, so long as they kept their evil acts hidden and presented themselves as just a different religious group? The Jedi can’t do anything about them without running afoul of the Republic laws.

The last Sith wars were a thousand of year in the past by the time we get to to the Clone Wars time. Sure the Sith would have been outlawed and hunted by the Jedi immediately after the final war where virtually all Sith and many Jedi were killed, leading many to believe that the Sith had been eradicated. But what if a small group of citizens, hundreds of years later revealed that they were Sith, but not like the old Sith, they distanced themselves from the way of the old Sith. They framed themselves as being just like the Jedi, they just approached the force in a different way. In public they were model citizens, well known as industrialists and merchants maybe. The newer, cuddlier, philanthropic even, Sith. Sure they are tough in business, but that's business. They made a lot of money for themselves, but they also built schools and paid for social programmes, they funded holonet dramas and children's educational shows... They're not hiding in the shadows, they're hiding in plain view. They've buried the ruby light sabres as old, they wish that the Jedi would leave the past in the past and work with them for a better future of prosperity for all those willing to go out, grasp it with both hands and work for a brighter tomorrow...

I recall reading that Darth Plagueis actually considered being open about being a Sith, but opted against it since the Jedi would bring the investigation hammer down hard on him and would inevitably find SOMETHING that he would be connected to.

Your description of Anakin's isolation puts his relationship with Palpatine in a different perspective. Despite his ulterior motives, Palpatine was one of the only people that dealt with Anakin as Anakin, rather than as another Jedi. Did Anakin really have anybody besides Padme or Palpatine that wasn't a superior, peer, or subordinate?

@@PentePatrolStarWars I could argue he had obi wan since the two had a bond like a brother. The two of them, even in canon, had the closet bond for a master and apprentice I do believe and even though the two had their struggles Anakin always had that bond with obi wan like brothers have with each other. Obi wan was the brother figure Anakin never had but what he needed was a father figure, and while yes they had that rough patch in the beginning of their relationship, Anakin and obi wan were again almost unable to be separated. So while Anakin had two people, Padme and palpation who viewed him as a person, I could argue obi wan also treated him as a person, but a padawan and as someone in training first

You're right, Qui-Gon was the only one capable of training Anakin and if he hadn't died things would've turned out different. Obi-Wan just wasn't like Qui-Gon back then and he was more like a strict older brother than a fatherly figure of a master as Qui-Gon would've been.

That said I do actually love how she acted as a mother to him, he needed a mother figure more than ever, so overall I enjoyed it.

Here's a What If: what if Anakin possessed Shatterpoint like Mace Windu? This could go in three ways: 1) prevents Anakin's downfall, 2) hastens Anakin's downfall, or 3) Anakin's path would be different from the Jedi and Sith.

Not gonna lie, seeing the video's thumbnail had me feeling things for Shaak Ti too

This is honestly really nice. Took Anakin's love and attachment and made it manageable and better for a Jedi. Anakin is full fledged in mind and body. A mature sensible Anakin. Love it

What if Palpatine dies during the Zilo beast episode and Count Dooku becomes Dark Lord of the Sith? I had flash back to when I had to look after my niece during Lockdown and introduced her to Clone Wars and that possibility came to me. Palpatine took many such risks during the conflict, it's reasonable that one of them might not pan out

Oooooh that would be cool especially with Dooku’s personality I think he would leave the sith (still using dark side) I think he would try to end the war via peace talks or overrun the capital and force peace In a way he was like reven he used the dark as a tool he didn’t fall to it To support this idea watch the episodes where you can see Dooku watch his eyes he very rarely has Sith eyes Also by this time Dooku hasn’t been Sith for a huge amount of time and this is near the beginning of the war

I started to but I don't think right now, as the channel is growing it isn't the right time to do visualizations (I was doing 'Light of the Jedi') And I very much so believe it's toxic because they have no foundational trust. It's kinda the equivalent to marrying the one night stand. A lot of their relationship flaws show up during the Rush Clovis arcs

Mace windu or qui gon was the key, because qui gon had a good understanding of the darkside and knew it wasn’t something that should be feared. Windu also used a ability that danced with fine line between light and dark which is vapaad. only he can use it because another Jedi would fall to the darkside using vapaad, also windu enjoyed battle he was in control of his emotions but he just kept them suppressed.

Low key. I can actually see this happening. Shaka ti has a motherlike energy. It’s easy for someone who was pulled from his family to end up falling for someone with this type of energy. She also didn’t seem to me to be a sheep to the order. She obeyed but she was loose with it. If anakin went to her instead of yoda she would have been given actual good advice.

The mention of the “Jedi Mullet” made me laugh so hard.

I always believed that Mace Windu would've been a much better master for Anakin than Obi Wan. Mostly because under Windu's training, Anakin could've learned to harness power from both the light and dark sides of the Force which in turn would've created balance within him. And in this case, I think Shaak Ti would've been a much better wife than Padme since Shaak Ti is more than capable of handling herself, therefore Anakin wouldn't have to worry so much about her dying

I have a What if... for you, What if after the Battle of Naboo, Queen Padme had rewarded the Young Hero of the Battle, Anakin Skywalker, by sending Agents to Tatooine and purchasing His mother, bringing her to Naboo and giving her lifetime residency on a Lovely Estate with a stipend, but also a choice of occupation. She need never fear hunger or abuse again. So now Anakin knew she was safe and comfortable while he studied to become a Jedi Knight. His thoughts no longer need to dwell upon his mother; she is comfortable, she is safe, but most of all he knows she's free.

What if assaj ventress had somehow managed to kill yoda? What if mother talzin managed to drain the queen?

I like the wholesome ending. But, with Palpatine gone, I think that the CIS would become an even greater threat. With Darth Tyranus becoming the new Dark Lord and pointing out that the republics beloved Chancellor was the cause for so much senseless death. Dooku would whip them into a fenzy and fully commit the industry of the CIS, perhaps even creating a certain Geonosian superweapon designed at the wars begining. Rest assured, though Palpatine would be gone,the Clone Wars would be far from over.

So....Aniken went for padme a 14 yo at the time when he SHOULD have went for Ara Ara Shaakti. Lol damn Ara Ara power wins again

Different love stories puts one thing clearly into perspective. Young Anakin really, REALLY needed an emotional connection. The more what if love stories I read, the more an idea pops up in my head. I'd like to see a story with a young Anakin eventually bonding with Jocasta Nu. How I see it coming to pass is that if Anakin is being tormented by his peers - yes he may sometimes go off to fume in his emotions, but at the same time, he's 9 years old. He's bound to be curious and would wander around. Eventually he'd come across the library/archives. Surely there'd be things he could look up...like say machines he could take an interest in and build for himself. The more time he spends there, the more JN sees the boy and would obviously feel his distress. I'd like to think that she'd take an interest in Anakin and they'd form a friendship and she'd be like a mentor of sorts. Given her age, I doubt she'd be willing to take on a Padawan, but at the same time I also think she'd take this up with the council and be willing to be Anakin's rock or foundation in becoming a Jedi. By that same token, maybe she'd even be willing to speak with Obi Wan from time to time and counsel or guide him gently towards teaching methods. I never watched the toon so I don't know what if any kind of role she had in it. I'm only going by what I've been in the movies, which we all know isn't much. Would be interesting to see if her influence in Anakin's life would keep him away from Palpatine or if he'd actually take an interest in politics and outsmart the sith. There's bound to be some interesting things in the archives, even in the unrestricted sections...maybe a hidden treasure for Anakin? Just an idea.

It had to go this way simply because shakti was well to advanced in the Jedi way to actually fall for Anakin. She wasn't a normal person like padme she was bread from the order and at her position she could easily figure out what was needed for Anakin. Love but not falling in love. First of all that would be weird considering she is a Jedi master and she would know the consequences of the bat of what would happen with a love thing with Anakin. But for all this to happen we can't forget that it was the will of the force that lead the events of star wars. The force in this story planned for things to turn out this way. Basically the force is god
