What If a Black Hole Is Already in Our Solar System?

Ғылым және технология

Something strange is happening on the outskirts of our Solar System. It could be a large, mysterious planet. Or, it could be a black hole. How big would this black hole be? What effect would it have on our Solar System? And what would happen to you if you got too close? What are trans neptunian objects? How big is a stellar black hole?

The thing which i learnt so much by watching what if, is the ability to think on feet and find a new solution to any problem so easily, I developed this habit bcos each and every time I watch a what if episode, the description of the destruction make me think how we can find a solution and eventually, I started to think out of box Thank you what if keep going

Please consider doing this one, been asking on every video and post you guys make for over 2 months: What if we kept growing at the same rate after puberty ended? How large would we be by the time people typically die from natural causes and how hard would living be? In this scenario people would be built to take the extra physical stress from getting as large as possible.

In our solar system? Highly unlikely. Otherwise, we would know about it. If we're capable of detecting supermassive blackholes thousands,or even millions of lightyears away and even capturing an image of one millions of lightyears away.... We easily could have found one in our solar system. But we haven't, because there isn't a black hole in our solar system. End of story

Not necessarily. Especially if it's a planetary-mass primordial black hole like what's proposed. The black hole's event horizon would be about the size of a baseball, that's a ridiculously tiny object and a comet would have to pass within inches for material to actually be pulled in like that.

If a black hole were already in our solar system, it would likely have a significant effect on the orbits and movements of the planets and other celestial bodies. The intense gravitational pull of a black hole would cause nearby objects to be pulled in towards it, potentially causing disruptions or even the destruction of those objects. Additionally, the presence of a black hole would cause space-time to be heavily distorted in its vicinity, potentially causing other strange effects. However, currently there is no evidence of a black hole in our solar system.
