I use my daily section for memories, lists, recipes, pen tests, etc. I use the perpetual up front as an index for those pages.

I was influenced (by you) to buy a cousin for ‘23 and I am already in love with it! I have so much going on right now that the daily/weekly/monthly pages are going to be amazing!!

I use my daily pages for memory planning so far! I can’t wait to start my new one in January!

I was worried that there wouldn’t be enough space coming from the 7x9 daily duo, but I have found there is more room because of the free form layout. I have been able to use this for work and personal, which was a relief because I am over having so many different planners. Always appreciate your insight. Happy holidays 🎉

Started coming back last year with the A6. Just got my new cousin and A6 in the other day. Now I'm considering another weeks as well. I love the paper and the fact you have so much space available in one book.

I started with the spring start this year too but I think that really helped me with experimenting in it. Because I already had blank pages I wasn’t pressured to make it come out perfect and I found what worked and didn’t work for me. Watching you the last few months in the cousin on the same path I was helped me get more ideas and now I’m excited to jump into a whole 2023 cousin too. Thanks for always sharing your thoughts on this planner and your process. 😊

My hobonichi cousin starts in January and I can't wait to use it! I am going to use the daily pages as a gratitude journal. I am going to work on being more grateful and complain less in 2023. I don't use a weekly planner so I wasn't sure how to use the weekly pages. But I think I'll probably end up using them as a typical weekly spread. I want to see all the pages filled in with life at the end of 2023.😃

I just purchased the Hobonichi weeks to try out the Hobonichi in general. I was thinking that if I like the weeks, I would get the Cousin and use the daily pages the same way.

I’m planning on getting the new 2024 version and I’m so excited to try it thanks to this video and others! It’s so cool to see how you’ve used it and the development over time. I think that’s what gets me so pumped for it.

I'll be using the Hobonichi Cousin for 2023! My very first Hobo 🤩. I really wanted to have a dated daily for 2023 (I used the MäksēLife digital daily for 2022) to use as an intentions & reflections journal and for memory keeping, too. Totally inspired by your PWM videos to get the Hobonichi Cousin!!! Glad you're still using it for 2023 ~ more videos for inspiration 💖.

I had the same issue this year. I bought my first Hobonichi cousin (avec) and the yearly overview was intimidating and I ended up not using it ! But ! For next year, I will use it as a cleaning log !! And I’m very excited about that 🤩 love your videos btw 🥰 take care !

I'm new to the cousin this year. I'm using the yearly spread to track whether or not I met my goals. I'm tracking the weather in the monthlies, along with birthdays and holidays. My planning happens on the weeklies. My daily spread has a gratitude section at the top of the page. The timed box is my to do list. The big box to the right is for notes, memories, etc. The small box under the to do list is my workout log, and to the right is my food log. I'll try this layout for a week or two to see if I like it.

Just purchased the HON A5. Not even sure where to begin. Not artsy at all. I hope all these beautiful examples on YT can inspire me. I do need to purchase some new pens and pencils. Trying to get ready for a totally different planner for me.

I’m currently using the Hobonichi Techo Original (A6) for 2022. It’s my journal and memory planner. I upgraded to the Cousin Avec for 2023. I’ll be playing around with the weekly pages to figure out what I’ll be using them for.

Love the hobonichi brands. I’m more of a weeks girl. Year 6 and going strong. The cousin lasted 30 days in 2022 and I was devastated. I love how fluffy and worn in the cousin looks it was just a bit too large for me.

I’m on Year 3 of my Hobonichi Cousin. I did buy the English version for 2023 though. Super stoked to start planning! I use mine with a combo of planning, photos, water colors, books, stickers, etc. it takes watercolor BEAUTIFULLY🥰 Makes the pages nice & crinkly

i use my yearly as an index sometimes. If I have a lot of info on my daily pg and I'll need to refer back to it. I put a short description on the yearly so I can find it a little quicker.

So glad it’s staying!!! And love seeing how you played with the book!! And yes for bound books! My absolute fav! You know I really thought why I loved the book so much. I think I love it because when I feel like I want a change in planners I can switch from daily to weekly planning and back again. So I have the variety I want and need but at the end of the year it’s all in one book. So even if I’m inconsistent with my wants and needs, the book can adapt and I end the year with the one planner. I also really feel that a blank page also tells part of your story. So I allow them to be lol (even though deep down it slightly hurts, I gotta let that go) Also love the thumbnail. Kudos for doing something new 🤍

I love the cousin as well but I can’t with the colors which it was clean! But is am still thinking at least for memory keeping I can use it but not daily. Went with sterling ink common planner even though I don’t like B6 size and it’s my first but I like her and because it was so simple!!! I can have my page speak and say what I want.

I love ringbound and discbound planners for a long time and I never thought that I would use a book bound planner either, but the fact that it lays flat while it’s open- sold me. 😅 I prefer the smaller Hobonichi Weeks for now though.

I bought a Cousin for 2023 but I am kind of overwhelmed already. I also have 2 Hobo weeks I'm using too. I think the weeks is more my style right now. But I will definitely find a use for the cousin. So funny that I have gone from an EC Vertical to a Hobo weeks. But it feels right for this season of my life.

I need to stop watching these videos because every time I do, I want to order a new planner. My Weeks just shipped, but the Cousin is so tempting!

How long do you keep planners and do you recycle them? I enjoy spiral because I don't get the bulky feeling but then it is not travel friendly sometimes. Still finding the balance.

I keep all the planners I have use for more than a few months. Everything else gets recycled or donated!

Do you think this planner would work for someone who is not very ‘arty’. Yours always looks so pretty and fun and I’m worried without the fun stuff it would look very boring and I wouldn’t use a lot of the room available. Thanks 😊 x

Maybe you could find some favorite stickers and add one or two of your favorites to add a bit of color and take space if you don’t have a lot to write on a specific place.

Try checking out Lindsey scribbles - she plays with a lot of different planners, and at the moment she’s leaning towards hobonichi weeks as her main planner and archive for next year, but she has a fair bit of content on the cousin, too
