Lydia, it would be really nice if you did more of those realistic what-I-wore- in a week videos! I totally understand why all influencers place such a heavy emphasis on elevated work/ going out outfits: they can be truly amazing and eye- catching. The problem is, our daily lives are shaped not by them, but by those " realistic" outfits! and there's such a gap here :( It is all those smart- casual and elevated casual looks that are in huge demand!

100% agree with what you shared. For many of us, our everyday outfits need to be practical and comfortable, yet we still want to look nice/put together.

I’ve recently started putting on makeup and dressing better just to run out to the store and I feel better and more confident when I do that!

Nice video! Tempted to get the Massimo Dutti shirt/jacket but as a lot of their pieces now you can’t even wash it 😢 only dry clean. I find this really puts me off buying clothes for every day wear

I agree. I went to Hampton Court Flower Show on Friday and to London (an hour and a half in Tate Britain but out and about otherwise) on Saturday - got wet both times, was too hot Friday and chilly Saturday - 🙁.

Great idea; it's so frustrating buying summer clothes and not being able to wear them in the UK as we are having a dismal summer.....It's mid July and I've not worn a summer dress yet....

Can you discuss hemlines for pants. Can you have a hem that works for flats as well as heels on same pair of pants? In particular the wide leg pants.

Love the haircut - very chic! Looking forward to being able to see your full outfit more easily. Doing it in your closet seems a bit busy and squished. A simple backdrop like you used to have put the focus on the clothes was preferred imo.

I hope you might have added a trench given the awful weather we've been having. Recently I went up to Stockport to visit my aunt in hospital - left SW London at 8.30, reasonably warm. Arrived at Stockport Station and oh dear, not warmly dressed enough. Popped into a charity shop to buy a jumper for £3 before going on to Stepping Hill!

Loved the video, would be great if you did a video on your wardrobe - as in how you store your accessories , storage options, hangers etc to help us look after our clothes, and also would love to see how you do your hair and make up to help us complete the look ❤

Love your style. Not a fan of all the neutrals.

Your clothes are very elegant and they do look classic. I don’t think the style is flattering your figure. You look baggy and bigger than you are. The white shirt and black pans were best. Those outfits would not work for people with medium weight. They would look very big.
