Hard agree with #4! I made the mistake of not going to a single office hour in my first two years of university. Even if you THINK you know you understand the material, go anyways. profs and TAs are super helpful

one thing i like to tell everybody, mainly the people that have always struggled with school is to always show up to class. once you decide to skip one class it all goes down hill

man I know exactly how this feels. you're not alone. find little things to be joyful about and find someone you can talk to even if it's a little bit about what you're going through my life fell apart my first and second semester of college and I'm finishing my second year and it's just now getting better. you've got this! keep going

Fake person... Matthew reminds me my freshman fall experience. I went to orientation camp and meet a good friend. After the 1st midterms in late Sep, I asked him how he did and he sighed. I then invested 2 hours per week to help with his business and programming classes, but after the finals, I found he had scored top in 1st midterms and all subsequent tests.🙃 I then realized many college interperonsonals are different from high schools: colleague relationship, i.e. choreograph responses with reasoned decision making.
