    Always love your content! I really appreciate your point of view for playing Necromunda. As someone who rarely plays for location and pathogenic reasons I haven’t the experience “in the trenches” so to speak. One thing to note! Stim-Slug Stashes do Not get removed from a fighters card when used! It’s just a Once Per Game limit. Only “drug” that works this way. Maybe an Ammo Roll type of mechanic for all Necromunda Narcotics would make them (and the Chem Dealer Hanger on) feasible. See you in The Sump!

    Another suggestion for the Stimmer - Paired Spud Jackers. They still double your base attacked but they trade Pulverise for Knockback. I'd take the knockback over the pulverise special rule every time - you push your opponent back 1" for every to hit roll that beats their strength, but your Stimmer can immediately follow up after them to allow the rest of the attacks to hit. Plus if you push your opponent into a wall or other terrain all hits after that become damage 2. There's also the chance of pushing them off of a ledge too, which is also hilarious.

    What I’ve learned in general for Necromunda is model count… if the box comes with 10 models then try to spend your 1000 credits getting to that target number of 10 models. Especially with the enforcers.

    Good info, adding a under suit (25) to Leader- Gangers armor save in front to a 4, the prospects no saw add stub, grenades and knife super cheap and good movement. Try to avoid one on ones a try for 2 on 1's, 3 on 1's on shooting and close combat especially.

    Great video as always! Was strongly considering House Goliath as my first gang. Had visions of a Tyrants own Forge Tyrant running up one side with a pair of melee equipped bullies, and a dermal hardening Stimmer running up the other, while an unborn rapid fire grenade launcher champ filled the area with smoke grenades. Maybe it'll happen once I'm done with my Escher.

    So when you do play with trading post buy a rotary flensing saw on a stimmer. Giving it Naaargh and having it charge across the battlefield then walk into 4" melee range not have to lay down and just smack someone for 3 to 5 attacks usually removes them from the board. If they manage to survive there is a really good chance that your opponent can't swing back because of your reach.

    Good video as always. An interesting smithing option is tyrants pride. No champions are allowed in the gang! Lets you take lots of bullys and brusiers. Not sure how competitive that is but I've had fun with it. Bolters and combat shotguns are always nice too, plus stubguns for everyone +2 to short range means even if you can't charge you still have some offensive ability. In future videos it would be great if you could show your gang lists and talk about what worked and what didn't, also highlight some of the white elephants you might have purchased.

    Hate to say it but the trait Bulging Biceps 12:47 dose not remove the unwieldly trait from weapons. All Bulging Biceps does is make 2 handed weapons 1 handed. The weapon is still unwieldly and still takes up 2 weapon slots of the 3 weapon most gangers have. Its not completely useless but no where as useful as it once was. Also you cant charge up or down ladders.. Stairs yes, ladders no :P

    Does Unborn let you pick a extra skill for free on leader/champs or does just open a skilltree you maybe dont have access normally and pickk your starting skill from there?

  • @MiniatureGameMontage

    @MiniatureGameMontage

    Жыл бұрын

    So if you choose to be unborn it will cost you +10 credits. It basically opens a new skill tree but it's in addition to whatever skills you have already picked if you're a champion or leader. So you can pick additional things. Your starting skill is separate from genesmithing.

    400 extra points can only be used for mounted gangsters. I wouldn't bother with wild runners or cutters, they look crap and would lower the overall tone of my roster. I have a container here, I could build my own ridge hauler from my bits and pieces box. Stick a ckem thrower on it and blow everyone to kingdom come

  • @DaThingOnTheDoorstep
    @DaThingOnTheDoorstep2 жыл бұрын

    I went full ham on my Forge Tyrant. He's still waiting for me to sculpt him a beard and touch up his cloak, but as for gene-smithing and gear, I made him an absolute terror with S5, T5, 3W, armed with a missile launcher and a chainaxe, which thankfully was easier to source than my Escher chainaxe; I play Word Bearers CSM so that means Power Mauls as they bring the Primordial Truth to the unbelievers, so my Chaos Terminator bits had one to spare. He's ludicrously expensive (440 creds!) but I believe his ability to mulch enemies at range and melee more than makes up for it. The rest of the gang pretty much meant to run and get into melee, with a combat shotgun and grenade launcher thrown in for good measure. Just a note, Bulging Biceps doesn't fully negate Unwieldy, unfortunately. It lets the character use Unwieldy weapons with one hand, meaning you can either equip a one handed melee weapon (for an extra attack with it) or a sidearm (for a cheeky plasma pistol shot) and still use them in melee. I'd absolutely love it if it gave you the effects of Suspensors too. Good video. The tactics card portion always stings though; it's incredibly frustrating how GW handles cards across all their games. You only have a tiny window of time to grab them, and if you miss them, have fun paying an eBay scalper. Like, instead of an actual game aid and something they want more people to buy, they treat them like themed dice or a fancy pants special edition book smh.
