Couldnt agree more with you... honestly his insight is fantastic, which is something that I really picked up on during the world series when he was giving his take on the game. He is an incredibly coherent and bright guy, he has a lot of experience, and he has a lot to bring to the table.

I know him and Pete Rose are friends and shit, but during the World Series there he dissed Pete a few times pretty hard. Pete said he had a "feeling" Cleveland would win and ARod was like "What great analysis Pete." Fucking Hilarious!

So much insight. The media really portrays Arod in a different light. My favorite player of all time. So much knowledge that he has shared since shifting towards being an analyst. I think Arod has a future in coaching. I love Girardi, but I would love to see Alex become his successor. Him being a special instructor for the Yankees is hopefully just the start.

Maybe you would have a different perspective on it if you had already hit 696 home runs in the show, played on the Yankees for many years, had to face the music for steroid use and won a World Series on one of the greatest teams to ever play the game. But just maybe.

Me too, And look at Barry Bonds I think 65 hits from 3000, 4 RBI from 2000 & a 298 B.A. Don't know why he didn't just do one more season. He would have got the hits & RBI's & maybe get the B.A up to or over 300.

Intelligent answers to good questions...i don't think Alex is out of his element in that room at all. I agreed with almost everything he said and it is impossible to not like him. Great insight into the game, what's good, what mlb needs to fix, inspiring more young kids to play, and how sabermetrics and the eyeball test can coexist. One of the best interviews i have seen with an athlete.

I dont care what anyone says about him and all the criticism nd negativity, that was well explained and said. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes that later regret. He was not the inventor or creator of the steroid-juice era, obviously😒 and he wasnt the only one. The thing is, he wanted to beat the system and tried to manipulated somehow so he wont get caught but still he got caught. Also, just of because of his fame and popularity as one of the greatest player he was easily targeted more than anyone else and thats why he paid the price and learned his lesson. We all have an opportunity to change our lives around. For those critics like the bible says those without a sin can throw the first stone.
