Where I live in NC, our kids get out of school the Friday before Memorial Day (end of May) and go back the last Monday in August.

We had teachers back today doing meetings, and the kids go tomorrow! Happy back to school!

I’m also very excited for rum pum plum. The holiday collection sounds amazing when looking at the descriptions. Very much looking forward to trying cranberry candy cane. I’m hoping it will similar to silver bells and cane cane buttercream ! Looking forward to watching yours and Elizabeth’s review ❤

Cranberry Candy Cane I hope is a similar cranberry note to Very Merry Cranberry but with a sweet peppermint! Love mint and can’t wait to smell it!

We go back Sept 6 in rural Ohio. For us, our county fair happens the week before Labor Day and schools were closed anyway because of how many kids are in 4H. The school schedule has been permanently adjusted for that. The big city schools have been back for 2 weeks or so.

Nice that they adjust for the fair! Our fall fair is early August, fall hits early here lol!

I leave my warmers on 24/7 because I find many scents don't last longer when warmers are shut off. They often don't warm up again well after being cooled down, but when left on, they stay going strong for longer. I love Orchard Apple & Spice. It's in my club.

I find, usually, the same thing for scents, so I also gave up and kept my warmers on 24/7, even if I’m sleeping through the last half of it.

Great point! I’d say a large chunk of scents are like that, where they never fully build in a room again after being turned off. Another good reason to keep the warmers going!

I’m glad you said this about leaving warmers on. I’ve alway turned mine off for bedtime. Do you find two cubes works better for each warmer? I do one or two depending but am still experimenting I guess

I have a hard time letting myself do more than 1 cube in a warmer….unless I’m mixing scents…which I do a lot. Haha! Or if I have discovered a scent does better, I’ll do 2….but most of my warmers seem to do fine with just 1 cube. However, I know a lot of people in the KZread community do 2! I was talking with my friend recently about having to convince myself 2 cubes of the same scent was ok. lol. So I think play around with what works best for your home and your nose!

I called CS about the Friends bar. Consultants need to contact them to share their experience. According to them, there has been no trend in complaints regarding this bar.

I’ve heard many other consultants and customers say they contacted customer service about it and got this response, that nobody is complaining. Apparently I know a lot of “nobody’s” 😬😅. Some of us were just told to put it on Ideashare. Good on you for calling too!! Yes, they need to hear this feedback! And with the way it got rushed away after a couple weeks, I think they did.

Friends bar- “Zero out of ten”😂 There is a hilarious chef on TikTok who rates video recipes out of a score of 10, and that totally sounded like him. So funny and matter of fact 😂 Swirling Snowflakes is excellent mixed with Frosted Vanilla 1:1. This was nice to watch, someone enjoying fall wax while experiencing fall weather. It’s been off the charts hot the last few days so I’ve had Black Currant & Plum in alt warmers with Simply Vanilla which has been lovely. My area of Minnesota almost always starts the day after Labor Day and goes through the first week of June.

Hope you get more seasonal weather soon! That Tiktok sounds hilarious - I don’t do Tiktok lol - I’m scared if I sign up I’ll get sucked in!!! Black Currant and Plum with Simply Vanilla does sound lovely - I almost feel like maybe I’ve tried that before at your suggestion - either way I want to try it again lol!

My girls started last Wednesday (aug. 30th) had school Thursday then had a 4 day weekend for Labor Day and they will be out around june 18th until about 5 or 6 years ago our district didnt go back until the Tuesday after Labor Day. I cant wait for the holiday collection im waiting on ordering my early access later in the month when we can order bricks. Im going to try white pumpkin and driftwood with either st.nickerdoodle and crumb top or baked apple pie.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate how well you describe each scent. We started school Aug 3rd and school ends around the 22nd of May, I"m in Arizona. It's hot here from May through September. I can't figure out why it's scheduled this way either.

Definitely seems like on average the southern/hot states tend to do late May- early august summer. And the further north you go, the closer it gets to end of June summer start/Labor Day end. I’m not sure why either but that’s the pattern I’m seeing lol!

CNN has a good article on it. But here in the gulf south hurricanes can impact so bad that we need to add days at the end of the year. Early start allows for that, and more teaching time before standardized tests.

That makes a lot of sense! I forget about hurricanes, we almost never get them up here in Canada, but the southern states do seem to get them consistently every year! Thank you for solving that mystery for me!

I melted Pumpkin Banana Scone this weekend and LOVED it!! It was better than Scentsy's banana nut bread - that one doesn't even last 1/2 a day for me. :( Today I was melting: YC Apple Pumpkin, Jack's obsession, and honey pear cider. I think I missed your summer empties so watching that video next!

I’ve sadly never tried Banana Nut Bread, but I have a rigged up version using Bananarama and Oats & Honey. Maybe you could try bumping the longevity with one or both if you’ve got them on hand? I use 1:1 and Bananarama always wins out in the end.

I got the same thing on warm with TB’s Pumpkin Spice & Cake Batter. I’ll try it in my open concept and see if that helps in a more airy space. Agree on Pumpkin Cookie Jar! It’s amazing on warm. Great empties, Robyn! In our school district in Houston, we are starting week 2 tomorrow.

I did TBs Pumpkin Spice & Cake Batter in the open layout tonight and liked it MUCH better out here. Didn’t get the dusty note and it was delicious! Not a strong/long lasting as I’d hoped but I also had the windows open so that’s probably my own fault.

Hi Robyn! We have Honey Pear Cider going today and Gimmie Candy in adjoining rooms. Devi has BoHo in her club, or she did, lol! We picked up some cinnamon in White Pumpkin Driftwood. I’m so glad you liked London Fog. I’ve not tried her signature sugar cookie, will try that next time she has it. School with kids started today. Thank you Robyn!

I’m a teacher in Georgia. We get out the last week in May. We go back the first week in August. We have a modified “year round” schedule. We get a week off every six weeks. Then only have 8-9 weeks for summer.

Having a week off every 6 weeks sounds amazing, even if it does mean shorter summers! I imagine childcare for working parents would be tricky though. More regular breaks feels like it would be better overall though for teachers and students!

@@RobynH we’ve been doing this for many years now and we do see benefits. Yes some complain of childcare issue but many have found that a family vacation in September or even February is way less expensive and less crowded. Many of us skip summer vacations and do September ones for warm weather.

I totally agree on the Friends bar. Not a fan either!

Here in Eastern Wisconsin, my kids went back to school Aug 23, and we end right before Memorial Day (last Monday in May). We are at a private school and we actually start a week or so before the local public schools. I don’t know of any northern schools that start super early, but I know the July-early August start is a fairly recent development overall.

Forever Fall and Fall Feelin are very different scents. Forever Fall would be my pick of the two, but most people are loving Fall Feelin - I find that one too dry and spicy though. I’m the minority there though! I’d recommend Cashmere Leaves!

TV's wax sounds amazing!! I've never tried it before. I know you have to preorder, but was wondering if there is an email our Facebook page that has info when the next drop will be. Ty for another great video.

I have a yankee candle in our local mall I wonder if they have the wax melts? 🤔. I have dream big princess in my club just waiting to see if I like it or not and it doesn’t have the symbol that it’s not available anymore which is so weird because it said in workstation it wouldn’t be available

The reason that dream Big princess isn't locked yet its because bars are available to club for 30 days after being released or while it's available whichever is longer.

That is odd about Dream Big Princess. They must have forgot to deactivate the Club option for it. You have Yankee in your mall?!?! Omg, go sniff Pumpkin Banana Scone! They probably would have the wax melts, I don’t see why they wouldn’t carry them in store. It does come in candle form too.
