Honestly, Chinese consumers are some of the toughest to please. They have almost unlimited options, from the expesnvie stuff by Western brands, to the Japanese stuff, to the local brands. This applies not just to motorcycles but almsot any industry that you can think off. Any small thing gets blown up in chinese social media. Sure, I won't talk about free speech against government. But free speech against companies is alive and strong. To get to be the number one motorcycle brand in China, CFMoto is certainly no slouch and definitely not one to fade.

if anyone is worried about reliability. I own a 300nk...and it is my daily commuter. I have put 10K miles on it in under 2 years. It has only had one small issue with an odd ignition coil that was covered under warranty no questions asked. Everything else has been flawless on it. Plan on doing a 2 year 10K review soon on it when I get a moment to actually film something...

I bought the 2024 CFMOTO 450SRS, which has the single swing arm and traction control, back in April. I've clocked just over 3000km's (~2K miles) on it. It's my first bike ever. I don't have any experience with any other bikes, but I can tell you, this bike is an absolute blast to ride. It's so easy to ride and extremely forgiving for new/beginner riders. It's light, nimble, looks awesome and always gets a thumbs up from other drivers on the road. The 270 degree crank and OEM exhaust sounds fantastic. I can only imagine what it'd sound like with an aftermarket exhaust on it. I've kept mine stock standard for now. Build quality is actually pretty good on these. I can't complain at all. I haven't had ANY issues whatsoever, so I can't comment on CFMOTO's warranty claim process or anything, but hey, it came with 3 years warranty from the dealership, so I'm not worried one bit. I plan to get a second bike, however, it'll be a Naked bike. Looking at a 2021 Ducati Monster 659, which is also a Learner approved (power restricted) bike here in Australia. Anyway, if you are apprehensive about buying a CFMOTO, DON'T BE! These bikes are awesome and very reliable (so far). Safe riding everyone! :)

I’m bloody happy to see this. I’m about to buy a 450SR-S when I can get my Ls, in Aus too, but I’ve been a bit apprehensive about it, and half considered a R3, R7 LAMS, CBR650R, Gixxer of some descript, etc, but haven’t been able to make my mind up. I am leaning towards the CFMoto.

I think that their (CFMoto) business goal is to get their "starter bikes" in the hands of new riders so that the new riders' next purchase will be the next step up in the CFMoto lineup. It makes sense to drop only beginner and intermediate bikes for the first 2-5 years and then they will release their 675cc I3 and the Voom 500cc I4. I would expect a liter bike in the next 3 years. Probably a CP4 equivalent motor.

I’m glad these OEMs are partnering with you and other creators - it’s one of the most helpful way for buyers to find the right product fit for us. Im getting back into riding after taking a break for almost a decade (moved from a small town to a giant metropolis which stole all the joy of riding for me), so I had no idea what’s out there as far as make, model, features, etc. Initially , I was DEAD SET on getting a Honda Rebel 1100 - but mostly because it was a compromise of everything I wanted, yet not the exact bike I envisioned. I’m much more into the “modern retro” look. After watching a Rebel 1100 video on your channel and another on MOTOBOB’s channel, I saw some of your Triumph videos on my recommended watchlist, which reminded me of how BADLY I wanted a Thruxton ~ 13 years ago. I watched those videos and went down a rabbit hole and found the perfect product fit for me - a Speed Twin! Picking it up this week. Now, I imagine your reach is so vast that you’ll likely help Triumph sell at least 100 bikes this year. That’s at least a million in sales, I’d think. I’m just napkin mathing here and I could be wildly off lmao. Seems like a solid investment in you. Of course, this only works if the OEM has a solid, desirable product. Anyway, I hope one day you and Motobob get an affiliate code I can give to triumph, that way I can give you a kickback when I get all my future Triumphs 😂. Love the content, and thank you for helping me find the best bike I’ve ever ridden. pretty damn close to my dream/forever bike , but time will tell ! 🙏

I appreciate your perspective. I started on a Chinese-made Benelli TNT300 - maybe one of the lesser-quality brands you wouldn't name? I agree that at a discounted price, for my use it made sense. It was $2500 a year old when Honda 300s were $4500 used and I didn't want a Ninja and didn't fit on an MT-03. It's been absolutely fine for 15,000 miles, 50/50 commuting/fun. I have only had one issue, a park/neutral sensor error that doesn't affect rideability. I've learned and done most of my own maintenance, and parts are cheap. If I had paid full price for new - $6000 out the door at the time, maybe $4800 with time/effort - I may not have felt as satisfied. This is where CFMoto is hurt, by dealers asking $1200-$2000 in fees and by their MSRPs creeping in line with established brands. Resale value isn't enough to justify that. I can't get enough of how the Benelli sounds with its unique 360-degree twin - I now own an MV Agusta and it's still true.

Aesthetically the bike is pleasing to look at, and reliability wise it does well. I actually enjoy riding the bike to the point where Im interested in picking up a 450ss in the near future over a z400 which I would never think I'd choose a chinese bike over any of the 3 Japanese brands but here we are. The only problem I have with cfmoto is I think dealers are hurting there brand with BS add on fees. The MSRP sounds attractive then you go to a dealer or inquire about a 450ss there like oh it’s $7,800 out the door. After the 800$ freight fee 650$ assemble fee. Doc fee tariff fee. My local Honda dealer sells new cbr500r for msrp no fees. Am I saying the cbr500r is a better bike no I’m not. But if it’s the same price as a 450ss which one is most people gonna buy ? Again I think this may be more of a dealer problem than a Cfmoto factory problem. Just my 2 cents.

When it come to all the hate comments on reviews of Chinese bikes, two things come to mind; 1) Didn’t you just write all that vitriol and hate on your phone/tablet/laptop/computer that was made in China ? 🤔 2) I’m a really old fart, I can remember the same kind of hate leveled at the first Japanese bikes to come to the US, as only 20 years or so had passed since the end of WWII and many people had friends or family members who had died fighting Japan, and during its occupation and reconstruction many of the products coming from there were substandard. Live long enough and sadly you see history repeating itself 😉. Keep up the good work, I enjoy it all 😃!

OC and mad love for you and your content my car yeet’d a piston so I sold it for some quick cash but as a family of 4, one car, and both working parents I decided I wanted a bike I’ve always wanted one and now I live in Georgia as well so the weather is perfect. I found a 2023 300ss in immaculate condition for $4250 with less than 2k miles I paid the gentleman $3500 cash and he gave me a brand new helmet and all the original documentation and after some research it appears CF Moto will even respect your warranty if you purchase a used bike. I’m currently in the process right now and I have fallen in love with motorcycling it’s a challenge but an absolute blast hopefully I will be able to upgrade in the future to a a 22-23 450ss I love the colors and look of them. Thanks to you and your team for all the content!

I have no issue with Chinese motorcycles. CF Moto's bike look really cool and I'm sure they are quality built. Like you mentioned, they do build engine for most of the lower displacement KTMs (and I own a 21 1290 SDR). The only thing that would make me think twice before buying one is the resell value. Not because they're junk but because of the general opinion people have of a company they don't know and yes, because it comes from China (too many cheap products came from there in the past). But kudos to you for getting that company known.

OC, most of your followers bought into the concept of WBRG because you (with help from companies and expert help) got hold of a bike destined for the scrapheap and put it back on the road. That idea gave hope to many, including myself, of winning a great prize. You now parade cheap Chinese bikes then use after market items to improve them. I know in the early days of WBRG how hard it was to learn how bikes work, how to rebuild them, what improvements can be bought/made.....but we all learnt together. Your CF Moto bikes are not wrecked and have not been rebuilt, so it is difficult to be "super stoked" with any progress/enhancements that you make. Seven great, difficult and frustrating years has resulted in show which is a pale shadow of its former self. Resurrected Ducatis, Kawasakis and Hondas were a fantasy to aspire to and made great content. RSMF .

I rode a 650NK a year or so ago and was vastly underwhelmed. The ergos weren't great and the engine felt anemic at best in both sport and rain modes. Not saying they make bad bikes, but it was a letdown compared to its competition.

I've ridden the 650NK, CL-X 700 Sport, and the 450SS and I agree, the 650NK was underwhelming. It made sense in comparison to the Z650 (and $1300 cheaper) but other middleweights are much nicer. It would have benefited from dealers pricing it aggressively instead of adding $1200-$2000 in fees like they try with other brands. The other two were much nicer, and they've already discontinued the 650NK. Seems they came out with a conservative bike to start at the top of their range, and the 800NK is better (but more expensive).

CM Great content all round Chase. CFMOTO are definitely getting bigger in Australia, there is still the exact same "Japancentric" view in some circles though. Maybe its right, maybe its wrong. I know one thing is that they've low key put the big 4 on notice which is exactly what the big 4 did to British and American manufacturers 60+ years ago. Honestly its refreshing to see a manufacturer market their products the way they have. It hits a target audience through guys like yourself and thats what they want right now. Being so new could they realistically supply a global market with that "80-90%" product you speak of that surprises people. Right now the are basically beta testing to smaller markets and its getting noticed. I mean they are winning the moto3 championship. THAT is a shot across the bow of the big 4 which can only mean better bikes and a more competitive market in the next 5 to 10 years. Im still looking around right now and have not decided what i want, i cant overlook cfmoto. Keep the content coming, motovlogs incl. 🤟😎🇦🇺

Well I'm interested in is the reliability of the motorcycle I don't want to go and acquire their business plan or their financial records to find out who owns them or anything like that. If the people on KZread say it's reliable and the price is right that's what I'll be looking at. Advise anybody who wants to know more to go down the rabbit hole and do it in depth dive of the company.
