I love hearing all the detail about your job and your family's company! It's so nice seeing a youtuber with a real job and showing people what all you can do out there besides just being social media stars. Also cool to show you can take a job that might seem just ordinary but show what all you can really do with it.

I transitioned to an office job within the construction industry after serving for 10 years and I love it. I am going to get a standing desk today because I am feeling the effects of sitting all the time. Thank you for your vlogs! I love your kitty ❤️

What you said about not living for the weekends is so true! Lately I’ve been wanting to step up my workwear game because I tend to focus more on my weekend/going out clothes. I want to feel more cute and put together during the week! Love your Vlogs as always :)

I’m the same way I wanted to be a doctor and currently now working towards my accounting degree. I am the same way I tend to do so much better when it’s busy. I love your video.

I’m a college senior, I majored in interior design, I just found your channel! I landed a full time interior design job which is exciting, but I’ve been kindof nervous about getting bored in the 8-5. I appreciate your video because it seems really realistic but it also seems like you are still pretty content in life so that makes me less nervous. I worked at a granite company for my internship last summer so I can definitely relate to everything

I just came across your video (this one) and I watched the whole thing through. Usually with new youtubers I come across randomly, I don't watch the whole vid cause they might not be my cup of tea. Ahhh I was away for a week and now I’m catching up which feels so nice and motivating. First thing love what you said about dressing up on weekdays and not leaving it for the weekend. Before COVID I used to love dressing up during weekdays while going to college, it made the weekdays more fun and helped me to be more productive cause I felt put together. Also it’s good to enjoy your life and not make the “weekend” the only fun/interesting part of the week. I’m sorry for the long comment but I really enjoyed the vlog just like all the vlogs you post, especially your talk about your roles at work and what’s it like. Haha when you told Vinny “You’re so cute” and then you went to “Ouch, you’re so rude” lol. Hope your back feels better too.

It’s so cool having someone talk about change orders and pay applications because I do it too! I’m the project administrator at a subcontracting company. We spray acoustic insulation and fireproofing. My job entails of reporting how the projects are going, starting payroll each week, submitting any prequalification, getting insurance in place, making sure po’s and change orders are billed and signed, pay applications for month and obviously collecting money. I agree that the constitution industry is cut throat and especially for a woman. I’m only a year and six months in the commercial construction industry and boy… have I had to buckle in but I am so happy and truly enjoy my job. The company I work for is also a small family owned business and I enjoy that environment. I wish you the best!!!

Is it a lot easier, like do you have more flexibility knowing you are the COO (child of the owner lol) or do you feel pressured having your parent/s as your boss. Also, love that you are super relatable, humble and down to earth despite your financial status in life. ❤️

Hi Rachel! Hope you're already feeling better. I had the same lower back pain episode couple of years ago - pushed myself too hard to achieve a squat goal. Something I learned from this experience (besides listening to my body and being gentle) is to adjust the workout typeand load according to my cycle - I hurt my back a day before my period, and lower back muscles tend to contract at that time. I work in the construction industry as well and pretty much do all of the same things you do. It's so refreshing to hear another person feels the same things I do about the industry as well as seeing how you organize your day and still maintain your own goals and personality ❤❤ so glad I found your channel!!

When I found a good Chiropractor, it changed my life. Ask friends/family for recommendations in your area & I only go as often as I feel the need to. You don’t have to go as often as they recommend & sometimes I get to a point where I don’t have to go for months b/c I feel so good. I hope you feel better, back pain is the worst.

I'm so sorry to hear about your back pain. I had/have sciatica and went to physical therapy for it at the end of the last year. Two stretches that you did were crucial when I was going. The one where you're lying flat on the ground and lift one of your knees up to your chest and the other one where you take a band and put it over your foot, lift it up, and stretch your leg out as much as you can without bending your knee. I hope you're able to see improvement soon!

For years, I've heard people condemn, and criticize the 8-5 work schedule. While I'm sure if the typical business schedule was some other the outcome would be the same.... However: an adequate attitude is highly undermined but desperately necessary. Character is everything! 💜 Love me some mangos. Darn it, now I'm craving one...

Oh well I’m so glad that I’m going to be a designer at my 9-5 job that I’m starting soon and not doing spreadsheets 😂 however, I highly respect people who do jobs like this.

Newbie subscriber here from the 🇵🇭👌 Yes, the reality of an office staff we are prone to stress but it's how we handle that would make it different ❣️

Account major here and I’ve been an accountant for multiple construction companies for the past 6 years and GIIIRRRRRRLLLLL lemme tell you! You are 100% right 🤣🤣 it’s frustrating when taking over an accounting department at a new construction company and the previous “accountant” wasn’t actually an accountant and they didn’t really enter things correctly on quickbooks. And now you gotta go fix things which take forever.

I just applied to a receptionist type job this week and already interviewed with them. Then I saw your video in my recommended, so I kind of took it as a sign! Here's hoping, and thank you for the video!
