I’m 37 yo, I already have a black Birkin bag and it is my first and last mistake. I can afford Kelly in any color. If I would be 25yo I probably would buy it. But now I consciously DO NOT want to be associated with ladies who own Kelly and Birkin. I have no interest to pay 40k for a bag (piece of leather +labor = maximum $1000) Just imagine 39 THOUSANDS goes to the brand name. Absolutely unnecessary.

So true. With that kinda money 💰, I would rather do good and not give Hermes that money. Be it a collector, splurge or whatever, it's simply too much money spent that way, no disrespect to the brand or the craftsmanship. @@robinduncan9208 i have no idea of the store name. It was one of the stores arround Kapali market. They have separete rooms in the back, where they keep high quality dupes. They have everything and perfectly made. Not all the shops have the prime quality though, you have to explore a bit.

I would NEVER spend $40-50k on a bag unless it was Diamond encrusted. It’s insane! I like the mini Tory Burch Lee Radziwill bag. Looks just like a mini Kelly and is only like $700.

I have the white petite double lee r with the cutouts and I love it. Only con is the divider that makes it "double" is annoying, and also it doesn't have feet. I get so many compliments on that bag and it's really well made. I will probably buy a large on in the future.

What’s funny is that a lot of wealthy women wear Super-Fakes! I mean think about it…If for instance a Kardashian was wearing a Birken, you’d NEVER even question if it’s real or not! I think dupes are a great way of trying something out. I also have a Kelly inspired mini bag for a fraction of the price. Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *preluxscom* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do

You hit the nail on the head. “I have other bags that are much more practical for my lifestyle.” I’m 50 and I’m coming to that realization. I carry around my Neverfull all the time. It’s been the best overall running around in jeans and a t-shirt bag. And I have a vintage Kelly and Birkin! That I bought on the pre-loved market. That I baby in case in rains. And I live in swampy Florida! It’s rains 6-8 months out of the year here. We die from heat and humidity 9 months out of the year. Even after the pandemic, I work 4 days a week from home. And when I do go into an office, I don’t dress up because I work with all men. Although hubby said to my surprise today “you work hard for your luxury items. Wear them!”

Great video! I agree with your point about buying fakes for personal safety reason, especially when travelling. Getting mugged on holiday is traumatic enough ,getting mugged with a genuine bag is even worse. It makes sense to me to travel with a fake bag and not carry anything of value that you will miss. Also if you get your bag damaged with dirt, stain, accidents, whatever it is , it won't matter if it's a fake. I recommend *condupcom* for you, it will save you a lot of trouble, but I'm glad you're there.

Hi Caitlin, I have 2 mini Kelly’s and I don’t used them very often. They are really small but perfect for some occasions…..I have a black and the gold …so I feel very lucky to have them. They were both gifts from my hubby! They both came from the New York store, the gold this year and the black from the year earlier. But this is all the mini Kelly’s I need or want. When I was much younger and cared way too much what people thought - I walked into a sushi restaurant with my *esluxscom* . A group of girls were at a table and were laughing. I immediately assumed they were laughing at my fake bag. Looking back, I'm sure they weren't as it was a brilliant copy. So, moral of the story - please don't spend too much time worrying about what others think of you. Great video. I’m new to your channel and I love your vibe. And, I can’t tell the difference in the two Bottega bags and the *esluxs* is close enough and it’s cute so that’s good enough for me.

I have two Kelly dupes - one made of PU and another one made of genuine leather, which I got after the top handle of the PU got so tattered. I can't afford the actual Kelly, and even if I could, it costs the same as a low-cost house/a flat in my country, which is a crazy amount to spend on a bag.

Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *hotdups* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I have a dupe Mini Kelly from Lily and Bean and I got it to try out the size (also have a dupe size 25) and I never thought I would wear it so much! The size is super versatile, fits my bare essentials, the strap works crossbody on me but it’s a very high crossbody (similar to the original). Probably I wear it so much much because it’s a dupe, and completely carefree! I rarely wear my Birkin 25, it feels so, I don’t know, precious to wear all the time!

This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. black Birkin bag, which was the first good choice I ever made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to associate with a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = up to $1000) Imagine spending $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary.

I I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxscom* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxs* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

Sis, your just as funny on here than TikTok...lol! I purchased a *esluxscom* from Rainbow... and I get so many compliments on that bag and the chain is heavy. Then I came across a Chanel tote bag. (I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.

Thank you for showing us ! I love both actually ! I own original and *esluxscom* and all my reps smells sooooo good! They smells the same as all my originals. I pay a lot for the reps so they are high quality. I have only tried 2 sellers and I will stick with them so I know what I get. I live in Norway and we do have a gorgeous Louis Vuitton shop in Oslo - love going there!

Thank you for showing us an economically responsible alternative to the Hermes Kelly bag . Can never justify paying so much for a bag of this style and color , and especially during a time when our economy is slowing down.

Who cares what someone has or doesn’t have. It doesn’t make you any better than anybody else. Real or fake. It’s nobody’s business unless you’re paying their bills. I think some people are just butt hurt by the fact that they spent $5,000 on a handbag and anyone can get *esluxs* that looks identical for a few hundred bucks or less. Stop worrying about stuff that doesn’t matter.

I have a mini Kelly in black color from Hermès Barcelona boutique and I hate it 🤣🤣 I take it because I had the chance to get one from the boutique at « normal price » so I bring it but is really too small unpractical is like an SLG… I don’t like Epsom leather as well so I will probably exchange for one Birkin 25 or 30 or sell it (sorry for my bad english I’m french) pd: where is your necklace name from? I still love my LV reverse monogram *esluxs* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

it is the wiser more intelligent thing to do *hotdups* , buy replicas and the money saved you can invest it in a business or keep it... at the end of the day, it is just a bag after all, a thing to put stuff in. And in this times of inflation and uncertainty it is always better to have money on hand.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxscom* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *hotdups* Go shopping

I did exactly what you have done, purchased a fake mini Kelly in black and although love the bag I've decided I'd never buy a genuine one as way too expensive for such a small 👜 . Nope from me 😂 I'd rather keep all my beautiful Chanel 🛍 collection.

This isn't really a fake, though, it's a dupe and there's a difference. A fake will be trying to pass itself off as the real thing, whereas a dump doesn't have any Hermes branding and isn't claiming to be an Hermes bag. I love the style of a Birkin and often think about getting a fake Birkin.

The fact that your authentic purchase smells is a very real reason why I buy reps. These luxury fashion houses have really dropped the ball on quality control. I bought a *esluxscom* from a very reputable seller and my bag is honestly perfection. The smell, color, strap, hardware, everything looks like your authentic piece. I got a promo price as a new buyer so I'm pretty sure I paid about 150 or less. You made a great point to buying rep to try a bag out. I've bought quite a few authentic after using and loving a rep. The only one havent done that with is my PM, shes spot on. Thanks for your video.

You can get a much better replica. Real leather and great quality. Those prices for the real one are just ridiculous and not worth at all. No matter if they are hand made, great leathers, etc. Get a better replica and enjoy it.

It seems like the *esluxscom* one looks better than the real one though. Who cares? Nobody is gonna spot it when you wear it in a nightclub or a night out. People are busy with their own lives. And people just don't bother you wearing a real or fake one. Just saying.

Actually you’re incorrect: a fake is when it’s clearly branded to be an imitation while a dupe looks similar but remains unbranded. Fakes are often produced poorly by criminal gangs and they can help funds things human trafficking but dupes can be made by reputable brands or artisans and some are even made by other luxury houses eg when serval designer brands made bags similar to the Birkin. Fashion experts have made the distinction clear and it can be cited with a quick google

Check out Tory Burch petite Lee Radzwill bag! I also really wanted a mini Kelly for a long time, and I’m definitely NOT spending $40k on it. I ran into this Tory Burch mini bag. Obviously it’s not a Hermes but it totally has the mini Kelly vibe and is totally cute!! I carry it almost everyday now, got so many compliments and it scratched my mini Kelly itch. ❤

I have two Birkin 35s which I inherited from my mum when she passed away. I have used them but I always feel super uncomfortable when out and about with them. I think it’s the idea of someone knowing what they are and then judging you based on the bag you chose to use that day. I did save up for a vintage Kelly 28 for my 25th birthday, and managed to get one the same age as me 🥳 I use that more but still not as often as I probably should. I love the Birkin 25s but I can’t and won’t justify the preloved market price for them.

The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! Give me a high quality non-designer bag any day of the week! Quite frankly, if I really fall in love with any particular Chanel design, I would go to the *esluxscom* market because I do not see the value that Chanel or many of these luxury fashion houses offer. The fact that many authenticators do not authenticate more recent bags is proof of this in my eyes.

Not a fake but I bought the Kate Spade Knott Flap crossbody just recently to try out the WOC style because I’ve been wanting the Chanel WOC. At first I was considering the Mulberry Small Darley but I found the gold hardware and chain too yellow and shiny and know I’d be too conscious to wear it just because of that so I am now much happier with the Kate Spade. Buuut tbh I haven’t scratched the itch to buy the Chanel but am considering a rectangular mini just because the KS fits my essentials perfectly and the Chanel WOC might not given that it’s thinner. I’d never know that a 0.5 inch additional dept would be important if I didn’t buy the KS. The status that comes with these brands IS the selling point, I dont think any fashion girl can deny that because even if we say we don’t care about the brand, the truth is there are far less expensive, high quality bags out there and we still won’t go for them. I think that’s okay as long as you’re shopping responsibly and not making brands your identity.

I've always dreamed of having a Chanel classic flap. But it's weird. I guess the status is part of the appeal subconsciously. But I would be embarrassed to spend that much on a bag and if I owned one would probably tell people it's fake or I found it cheap second hand. Lately I'm feeling turned off Chanel. Most luxury influencers have classic flaps in 10 different colours. Its getting boring. And the price is ridiculous. It's like they want to be Hermes. I despise how snobby that company is and that you have to earn the right to buy their overpriced ugly bag. And feel honoured just to be offered one in a colour you don't even like. I'd still love a Chanel bag. But I'd rather a seasonal or vintage style.

I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable *hotdups* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

My SA told me that a mini Kelly is hard to get so I told him just put a K25 in my wishlist. I went to visit the store last July and he surprised me with a mini Kelly brique color in box leather with palladium hardware. Until now I could not still believe I own such a beautiful cute bag! Being in box leather, it paid more than my etoupe Birkin 25 in togo leather/gold hardware.

I have 3 mini Kelly dupes: one red epsom, one green epsom, and one black croc. They are darling little bags, perfect for a night out, but I would never pay Hermes’ prices for something like this.

Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *hotdups* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

That’s crazy money. Surely we all can find better things to spend 50K on. Someone said materials and labor only amounts to 1k. I think it’s more like $500 USD. Hermes is making $49,500 off the sale. Utter nonsense.

It's not technically a fake( aka counterfeit) since it doesn't have the logo on it, a replica isn't the same thing as a counterfeit

It's not worth it. The only reason to buy it is as an investment. That's it.

I have several Kelly which I prefer over Birkin. The 28 is great everyday bag and 25 is perfect as evening bag. I think mini is just cute but 25 is better. I have a great relationship with my local store. I think it is very important. I will never buy second hand over retail. I don’t see it as a game…I just enjoy the process or experience if you will…like I said, having a good relationship or having fun shopping is important to me. Then my SA just asks me when he has something that he thinks I like. I don’t even have a wishlist cause I don’t even mention it. If they play hard to get, so can you. My favorite is my Kelly touch, 25 black in Togo and lizard. It is truly a beauty. The last I want to say is life is an experience, don’t stress over it, just enjoy it while you can. If you can afford it and you have a friend at Hermes then why not. When I go to my local store, everyone knows me and we chat and talk about family and life. We even go out after work together. It is not a big deal. Just have a good time. You seem lost to me…perhaps your age, perhaps your personality…I am much older than you …just let it go, whether it is your stress, worries, your bags or your clothes. Nothing is that important. Enjoy when you have them, get rid of it if you don’t. I suggest instead of selling these things, you can pack them away and just use few then when you are bored then unpack and shop your own wardrobe. 😊

I think what you feel is how a lot of us normal consumers feel about the price increases and the H game and i completely agree with you. the big influencers have connection and their job is in fashion so they're able to get those bags because of their job. the kelly mini 2 has also been my dream bag ever since i saw it on instagram but i also think that it's too hard to get and don't want to spend 40K. I could get so much of my wish list pieces with that 40K and have a lot more consumer satisfaction than using it for 1 bag.
