You are creating a new category, you are a great teacher. You are helping people build their point of view. I guess it would be nice if all people reference you. We tell people about you as a great source. You are appreciated as a strategist and that is admired

I really like #7 People want to hear the bold thing. It's something that I really worked on myself last year. Not just being a media buyer but also on my personal relationships with people. I think it is connected to being a people pleaser which eventually ends up you getting the negative effect of the outcome. For example a client found a strategy from someone and they want to shift your strategy to that strategy. Okay, we can test that but if I don't see results within a given time frame we are shifting our gears back to what is working. I found that being able to say what you really want to say gives you more of the authority you are looking for and also signals your client/s that you are the leader and not just a follower or button clicker.

Although i'm from the "media buying, creative strategy" fan group of yours, i really liked your last point. I think it helps us with ensuring that we are functioning as us and also not getting affected by what other people are saying. It was nice of you to add your thought process. :D

That's the way to grow on KZread initially, though. You have to take what's working for your competitors and make your own spin. The info they are giving their audience may actually be helpful, why not share it with your audience, since they want hear it from you.

I loved this video! It's very relatable and I shared it with a friend who creates content for the company that I work for. We're a very small business and have to be scrapy with our resources and all wear lots of hats. But we also wear lots of insecurities and take on roles that we're not used to. I've always looked up to your advice on ads, and knowing that you have similar challenges as the rest of us makes you even more endearing. Thanks for sharing this!

Loved loved loved this video ❤❤ thank you and the « wouwou » things are the ones that really help, but it’s hard to share those of course. I learnt a lot thanks to you. I follow you since you started your channel and I love to see how you grow and change :) you seem more free in your head I would say 🥰 you don’t realise but you are the kind or content creator that « whatever you publish, I will watch it and enjoy it » 😂🍿

Hi Dara, thank you for sharing all the free knowledge these past few years. I have been following you especially on how to make the best, well at least, highly convertible ads. And it has been working really well. Hopefully the values you provide on your channel can help other people as well, especially those who are just starting up.

I watched the whole video. I’ve been following you for years on TikTok. I quit my agency (Fluent) job three months ago and you inspired me to give content creation a shot and it’s been a wild journey so far. I resonate so much with everything you said. Just wanted to encourage you (for whatever that’s worth😅) that the work you do makes a big impact. Side note: Andrew Franz mentioned you guys are friends. Small world 🌎

I always imagined you taking funds from your job at Thesis or KZread to become a founder. You made others millions and could absolutely do so yourself with the right product and market fit. I remember you saying you wished people recommended this less flippantly, but many founders start from scratch and are simply common-folk who want to get big rich ethically; considering this, you have a huge, huge, huge leg up, not to mention a growing following. Any content made about founding and scaling that brand would advertise the brand organically, would provide value to advertisers and founders alike, and obviously generate money from multiple angles. A thought! Also, regarding all negativity you mentioned, it’s always felt blatantly apparently to me your thinking is abnormally strategic, creative, and innovative, that your capacity to articulate it is idiosyncratic, and that the quality of your content that ensues is entirely singular - not just in the advertising space, but in the ecom and perhaps the KZread space altogether. I think your content is so, so good. You’re my favorite KZreadr for sure, and I hope you feel confident in whatever decision you make.
