Keeping the chicken is good idea but....not when you want to save coins on eggs. It might not break even coz sahii feeds are on the roof. The positive part is that you get to enjoy kienyeji eggs, you don't have to throw away left covers and its also a fun activity for the family

Nice. Nice. We continue to pray for you out neighbors. I kept a few chickens sometime back. The first batch did well. The second one was a complete fail. Just the price of eggs has gone up because of the rise feed that results from poor crop yield esp maize. Basically even if you keep your own birds the cost of feed will be real. Non the less having your own birds teaches kids to care for living things, they learn patience & you know what you are feeding your family.

Well on the aspect of keeping kukus for your own eggs it's a very good idea.....but.... please do your research mostly on the costings coz the foods for the chicken have really skyrocketed and also how many kukus to keep to break even. Those are my two cents 🤣 as I aa a farmer

I got some live chickens from a friend for Xmas last 2years and I've got so many eggs from them so I encourage. I have a Coop for them but I allow them to free range as well since I have a big compound with lots of soil for them to dig for worms etc. If you choose this method, bear in mind that your plants will suffer lol so you'll need netting to keep them out of your plants. If you keep them in the coop all the time then give them kitchen scraps as well as feed to give them balanced, varied diet. I say go for it. They will definitely pay for themselves if you take care of them

I like to make baked pancakes, just put your pancake batter on a well greased baking sheet that has a rim, and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350° you can add all your favorites to the batter too... blueberries, or chocolate chips, raisins and cinnamon....whatever, the pancakes are so light and fluffy......so easy. My husband likes them with chocolate, and instead of syrup, peanut butter. 😁😁 I love your videos !! Thank you for sharing!

For the mahamris after you cut them into triangles, let them rest again to puff. Personally, I only puff mine after I have cut them for like 5mins then deep-fry. Then also my personal preference for the mbaazi, I don't add all those spices, I just add salt, loads of onions, cardamoms, coconut milk then later on coconut cream, then since am a grown up whole green chillies
