Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Hi everyone!
I got a comment on my last video asking whether I could show what I feed my mini horses. Well, here it is! Hope you enjoy.

I might be getting one for my birthday in September and I love your videos!!!
Do you have anything to help prevent ulcers? Or really do your horses sit with empty stomachs often? I have a mini horse with equine metabolic syndrome. In the winter I shave her (partially) down. I also feed her a flake of hay in the morning and evening, 2 pounds at each feeding, out of a doubled up haynet so it lasts for 8-10hrs and she always has access to hay. I'm very worried about her developing ulcers. She used to eat loose hay on the ground and weight for hours to get more.(previous owners) so I try to make sure she always has access to haynet cant gorge herself and cause insulin spikes. She also gets nutrina safe choice feed that only has 5% sugar. 1 cup in the morning and evening.

My horses get adlib hay all day/night, so are never not eating. Alfalfa and linseed are both great preventatives for ulcers as well. Saffy had a lot of digestive problems when I first got her, so my feeds are all chosen to help these issues 😊.
Wait do you have to show them or can you just have them as horses???-

@@eliseblair140 yay...I just wanted them so I could have a friend and something fun to takr care of:):):)
Per my Vet, I should NOT feed my mini and pony grass and sweet feed. Harry and Snowball get Coastal hay, alfalfa pellets (soaked), a vitamin balancer, and an occasional treat like apples and carrots.
