FEED ROUTINE/RENOVATION/TOUR | What we feed our horses!
Open me!!
I only realised after editing this that we could have recorded the feed routine in a much smarter way instead of going through each horse, but we live and learn so note taken! 😂
Lots of videos to come, I’m going to be posting every Monday and Friday!!! (Also a meet the horse vid coming soon enough!)

Hey did u know ground linseed loses its omegas once the shells are cracked. If u were to feed whole linseeds or cold pressed linseed oil ur horses would benefit so much more from it 😁
@mollyellashowjumping3836

Wow I never knew this!! We can only get micronised linseed from our local feed shop so will have to have a look into it! Fab comment I hope lots can learn from! (Including me) x

Molly Showjumping ground linseeds are still good as a source of protein but usually all the oil has been extracted from them when making linseed meal. It’s hard to find whole ones where I live so we use the oil. 😁
love watching your videos and love your yard xx

I'm not sure that the amount of salt is beneficial at all, one horse should have around 50-120 grams of salt every day in the summertime( depends on the workload) and 50-75 in winter ( This is based on a horse that is 500 kilo)
@mollyellashowjumping3836

Hi, they also have salt licks too. Any excess salt is passed through the body. They get salt from other parts of their diet too
The biggest problem with feed for Equine in Great Britain and territories beyond is production..In the United States and Canada we have crimped oats, mix other products...The overall health of sport,high_end, and other equine is not good....supplements are used as main feed..not supplements... The Queen has requested a change, for years...Those who have refused, will be put out of business. .New feed will be required..Those with the inability to follow will no longer be competing, with the possibility of losing their equine......Not only are the products more complete but less time in feeding...For children of school age involved with equestrian Sports..Prior, we're using excuses of having to take so much time in feeding their equine in mornings prior to school. They were getting written excuses not to attend class..New feed cost overall will be less, overall education of Equestrians through_out the kingdom would also improve...Children would not be left open for pedophiles and other sexual deviants to pray on.....👑👮♀️
