Hi Tia. I agree with you. Fasting is no good for me; it is better to listen to your body which tells you when it needs more fuel (food). If you just eat as much of you want of vegetables, fruits, grains and pulses you cannot put on weight. I know I did this and went from 196 pounds to 140 pounds. This is the eating plan that Dr Neal Barnard recommends and it works
