*I lost 120 pounds in 2018 on a Carnivore Diet, I maintained that in 2019. In 2020 I struggled with some weight gain and then lost it again in 2021. For the last few years I have been maintaining a healthy weight. In December 2022 I had skin removal surgery (tummy tuck). This channel just documents all of that journey and how our family lives normal lives and eats a meat based diet.

On my measly pension I personally cannot afford ribeyes and salmon. However, what I can afford consists of 3 tins of sardines in water, 1kg braising steak (chuck), chicken thighs/legs, ground beef 20% fat, bacon, 18 eggs, lambs liver (curried), cheese, butter, garlic and ginger. I live on this food every week. During the past six weeks my weight has dropped from 88.9 kg to 79.5 kg. My blood pressure has normalised and I have stopped taking medication. People actually remark how well I look.

Great job, mate! I remember thinking carnivore seemed really expensive at first but like you, I found some "cheaper options" and eventually realized I was saving money. I wasn't eating out multiple times a week, I wasn't wasting money on processed packaged foods, and above all - on Carnivore I get full so much faster so eat way less! So it's all about finding a way to make it work. ❤

@@dcher3868 Whoa what a total misconception you have made! I am a teacher who taught in the schooling system for over 20 years. The school system is broken very, very broken! I saw this first hand so I pulled my child out to home school them. The amount of social groups and socialisation my child gets now is way more than they ever got in school! Not to mention the amount of leaps and bounds my child has made in their academics, as well as sports and many of the subjects they have undertaken since we started home-schooling. Don't judge something when you obviously know little about it.

My 36 yr old daughter is carnivore and has broiled beef cuts at almost every meal. She does have eggs as well. Her “why” was nerve pain and foot pain. It’s all gone. She’s seven months in. Anyway, I ramble. Thx for the instructional video.

@@lucyluu3539 Yes, I am down 60 pounds since starting the carnivore diet, with one major caveat: I was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer in November, and have been undergoing chemo and proton therapy from late November to early January. Other than having to modify my diet during therapy to NOT lose weight (long story), I am back on carnivore and losing weight again. Unfortunately, this cancer journey will ultimately end with 2/3 of my esophagus and 1/3 to 1/2 of my stomach being removed to rid me of the tumor and cancer. This will be at the end of March or early April. So, with that being said, with a combination of carnivore, cancer, and surgery, I am predicted to be down a total of 100 pounds by June. This is three months earlier than I had wanted, but circumstances being what they are, I will make the best and join the ranks of cancer survivors.

I have been eating like this for a month and I lost weight and I am still losing weight. I am under 5 ft tall and weigh 112 lbs this morning. At my heigh I should weigh 90 lbs, maybe i will get back to my high school weight LOL My arthritic hands healed and I do not feel hunger at all and I do not crave for carbs or sweets at all. same here. I am just over a month in, and I am BORED I think I may have to do a carnivore "lite" and do a salad once in a while or something...I do like that I don't get hungry often. But, now I am just not looking forward to eating another meal of MEAT...so like I say, maybe keto would be better for me. ?? Me & my sister are doing it together, we try to mix things up, with diff meats.... we aren't doing much cheese at all, because we don't want the dairy to slow the weight loss. We are older women so it goes slower.

I’m not sure I’ve seen you Laura use cream. But sometimes I will sauté up some shrimp with butter and garlic, then, right at the end, I’ll add 2 tablespoons worth of heavy cream. That’s just an example however, much you like and then I’ll eat that with my steak and it just gives me a little sauce to go along with the steak changes. The taste sometimes really good.

I love the "what I eat" videos and the "what I buy" shopping videos. Both are really helpful and inspiring when it begins to feel like more of the same". Somehow, looking at someone else's steak makes me want to eat one of the ones in my freezer that I just turned my nose at! No idea why, it's just true. Must be some weird extension of the "food tastes better when somebody else cooks" truism! 😂 I wish I had a grill, but I make do with a grill pan or heavy skillet on the stove. Would food cooked on an actual grill taste better? Probably, but It works and still tastes delicious. Just gotta do what you gotta do. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I keep forgetting to tell you how thankful I am to your Amazon store. I like to occasionally check out the Amazon stores of people I follow as I find many of the things there are useful. So I checked yours out in early July. When my a/c went out (yours being out is what reminded me to tell you) not long after (North Carolina), I remembered seeing the ice rollers and ordered them right away. I was glad I did as it was out for some time since EVERYONE in the country seemed to need the same parts and there was a bit of a wait! Those came in so handy and were perfect! I had bought a 2 pack - I used one and I used the other on my dog. He appreciated it, too! I like that you can give them a quick wash, pop each into a snack size ziplock and into the freezer. They refreeze pretty quickly and we're true lifesavers! So, thanks for that, too!

I am amazed how consistent 10 minute a day red light therapy brightens my face. I believe it also does other things like helps aches and pains, but the skin brightening was truly a revelation. I thought it was a gimmick, but it worked so well we have actually lugged our three feet by one foot hanging red light and near infrared light box all around Europe and across the Atlantic back to Mexico. It is a pain to build a box for it and cover it with Styrofoam and pay the extra to have it as checked baggage, but that's how well it works.

I find this channel very enlightening when thinking about when I get to the maintenance stage. Started just over a month ago at 300lbs. Already 20lbs gone with no exercise. Once fat adapted this woe is a breeze. I'm experimenting with intermittent fasting and also ADF. I had planned to lose 20lbs in 10 weeks for my upcoming vacation in October but that's gone 😁 😮 Already planning meals for when I'm away so I don't break this fantastic journey. The recommendation for a person my height is 220lbs so another 60 to go. Then I'll be really scrutinising Laura's weekly variety. Great content 👌💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️

I use LMNT and I love flavor ,spice and marinade but I do check the labels for carbs ,sugar and other ingredients before buying . I’ve gotta stop the excess coffee or quit coffee and curve my portions of food I eat when not hungry. Fasting and TRE help I also have a AID .
