Other than root beer floats, I don’t know what the heck I ate after I got my wisdom teeth out in 2020. I only had two wisdom teeth, but even getting those out left me almost entirely unable to open my mouth 😭 glad your experience seems to have been way better!

this was so helpful!!! i got my wisdoms out yesterday and I can barely open my mouth but it’s ok we’re making it through. one thing I just ate that was pretty good was those canned refried beans (i like the rosarita ones from costco) with a bit of water to thin it out and some fajita seasoning. ‘twas bussin. some salsa would be pretty good mixed in as well

I’ve had the peach Kite Hill yogurt before from Kroger and thought it was good. So I bought 4 from my local grocery outlet last week and they tasted horribly like chemicals. Not sure what was wrong with them, or if my tastebuds have changed since I’m pregnant. I was so disappointed!

I was so nervous for mine because my (1) i had an EXTRA tooth (2) my teeth were really deep in bone and (3) i had one that had gotten into my sinus cavity. they ended up having to fully put me under and i ended up totally fine! they give you great medication for pain and as long as you take it easy after, you should be fine. i also was scared of accidentally saying something embarrassing afterward, but to me, it felt just like taking a few shots of liquor - your judgement may be a bit fuzzy, but you won't spill all of your secrets or anything, you're still mostly in control. it can be really scary, but the professionals do this all the time and will take great care of you. here are my tips: - get an anti-nausea prescription in advance if you're going to be put under (zofran worked wonders for me) - crush up the pain pills in applesauce or pudding to make it easier to swallow - like emily said, have plenty of soft foods and snacks, i lived off of smoothies, over-cooked mushy mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. - stay hydrated!!! you'll feel much better if you drink enough water

Adding spinach to everything also increases your risk for kidney stones. It's very high in oxilates. More so than any common food. Even just over 2-3 cups (raw which is a fraction of a cup cooked) per day increases your risk for stones

I feel this pain. A little too hard. I went through 4+ months of having intense and incredibly painful dental surgery and work done on most of my mouth and it was absolute torture. Brothy, beany big soups were the order of most days and smoothies were my hyper-fixation snack. Slowly gaining back the weight I lost after that period now, bc it was HARD to stay on top of my nutrition. Wish I had this video then!! Heal well fellow Emily!🥹❤️‍🩹❤️
