You are sitting in a dark room, and only little sparks of moonlight fly into the space from time to time. The silence is horribly loud. The end, looming tall and dark over you was not what scared you. It was your own humanity, your imperfect nature.
It's russian czar ("king") on the picture holding his son's dead body. The czar is Ivan the Grozny (mean. "Fearsome"). In a fit of anger he hit his son with a staff inflicting him a mortal injury. Ivan was known as a cruel, vindictive, paranoid, but pious person.

I could hear the first song, but I think it's too pensive and doubting. For the picture on the preview, it should be almost hollow/empty, purely tragic. No major tunes, as in the middle of Chopin's Nocturne.
