It’s awesome seeing the runner and bws next to each other and seeing how much different the speed is 😮 Loving the content ❤️

That's true. It's a great comparison. But we need more though. Different scooters for a better reference.
Not sure if you guys know, but there is a secondary adjustment on the clutch. On the underside of the clutch arms where the spring tension bolt threads into, is a slotted plate. You can move the slotted plate more in or out, increasing or decreasing the centrifugal force and thus increasing or decreasing the stall

Yes that’s correct! We actually have filmed another video specifically explaining the complete workings of the Malossi Delta clutch including the weights in the back. So keep your eyes peeled for that!
I've done a few mods on my bike with a change of malossi parts...porting and keeping it a 100cc with standard carb and easily getting 100kmh with my 94kg fat ass on it, so seeing you tap out at approx. 100kmh makes me slightly happy knowing mine has a proper setup

That’s pretty true, I’m also a fat ass, so we can directly compare haha! But! Don’t forget that it’s running the 6.5g rollers which are very light for this setup reducing the top speed. With other rollers Clayton and I have got 130km/h on the clock and he’s got it to hit off the clock down a hill. Just remember these clocks are not that accurate as well so it’s hard to tell the true speed.
Hey bro , thanks for the mention! Glad you fitted the shim. Keep up the gilera content 👌

Thank You!
With heavier rollers or maybe even a mix that bws would really move,nice vid welldone
That gillera pulls 😂😂😂! Amazing to see how it pulls on the bws when the bws is flat out. I think the key to tuning the bws launch lies in the cvt, and more specifically the contra spring. I am still tweaking mine daily to find what I feel is the best

We were pretty much flat out on the bws 😂 it just pulls different depending on who’s riding because of the weight difference. But that being said, it’s not slow at all! There is a lot more we can do, we are planning on playing around with that soon!
Why didn’t u put original speedo in the runner
@urban_riders
Жыл бұрын
Clayton bought the Gilera with the Koso Speedo and never got the original. It is weird how it bounces a lot. I remember my original speedo also bounced. Maybe it’s time for a Malossi or Stage 6 digital rev counter! Haha
👍👍👍👍
Con todo lo que le has metido ala bws cuánto es la velocidad final saludos desde 🇲🇽en mi país nos gusta ver las modificaciones de bws

Hey! We love seeing all the comments from all around the world. Thank you! With the 6.5g we are getting between 110km/h to 115km/h. But with the heavier rollers it hits between 130km/h to 135km/h

Hallo, hoe gaan dit met jou?! .. People claim here (The Netherlands) , that the SM06 is even better than the Malossi exhaust I'm currently building a Piaggio Zip SP with a 150cc hexagon engine .. everything new/fresh till the last bolt, also new cdi and coil Will post a video soon, when it runs .. 💪

Hallo! Baie lekker! There is some truth with the SM06 being better. It is a really good exhaust! But if you’re looking for something different and for a different sound it’s nice to go with the Malossi. Looking forward to seeing your build. It sounds awesome!

What setups were you running? We are taking it a little easy and still learning to wheelie haha!
@noobgames1900
Жыл бұрын
Understandable better to learn wheelies on a 50cc ive always had a new malossi cilinder ive seen when they get old or lose compression they lose allot of power on two runners i had 28mm naraku carbs with 130 main jet and it ran perfect and i believe 60 small jet malossi vario with 12,5 gr rollers and stock pipe only thing i changed with the clutch is the springs for tighter ones something that also helps is making the exhaust port allot bigger and matching the ports with the case With 125cc or 180cc gears from stand still was impossible to keep the wheel down i also ran stock reeds and stock manifold i stretched to make the 28 fit If i had your bike i would put the 9gr rollers from malossi when you buy a malossi vario they come with 12,5gr rollers (stock pipe) and with 9gr that are made for the malossi pipe Great vids man

@@strongbow310 not true. My mate here in South Africa built a Kymco 125cc into a 180cc using Naraku Big bore kit, racing CDi, smart carb and a whole bunch of other bits for the CVT. It ran like stink and would walk with the Gilera. If you where to go to Malaysia, Taiwan or Thailand you'd take back what you said about 4 strokes. PS. I'm a BWS owner and 2 stroke is where my heart is at. 👍
What rpms is bws running at ?

Whats the bws top speed?

With these 6.5g rollers it gets about 130km/h. But I’m not sure how accurate the speedo is on the bws

@urban_riders good stuff. Mine is stock and struggles after 80km/h. Looking at getting the malossi variator you got.
Can i ask politely how come you didn't leave when blacks took control and quite rightly so as they are the majority im just curious

Most people in ZA have guns, especially the criminals. 😅 Bike theft is not very common here, but it is on the increase.
