What HardestGeezer Was ACTUALLY Thinking When Crossing The Finish Line in Africa...
Комедия
Russ Cook aka Hardest Geezer has just completed one of the most insane feats in human history - Running the entire length of Africa, from its most southernly point to the most northern tip! Russ was incredibly generous to allow Happy Hour to be the first place to share his incredible and unfathomable story. In this clip he shares how he got the mission up and running, how sponsors massively helped along the way, how he felt on the final day of the project, what it was like to see the Mediterranean Sea and coastline - a sight he'd been running towards and waiting to see for a year! And of course we asked him how it actually felt to cross the finish line to become the first person to run across Africa! We also spoke to camera man Stan, who shared his best and worst parts of the mission, which included the time he had to cross one of the most pirate infested waters, with the project van strapped to a dodgy wooden boat!
We're absolutely besotted by Russ as a human, and an athlete, and we'll forever be honoured to have been there to witness the moment this legend achieved what some said was impossible. From all of us here at Happy Hour, we'd like to say the biggest Congratulations to Russ and his team!

he has to run to every Wetherspoons in the UK. having a pint in each one. He has 1 year to complete it. Looked it up, there's 805 of them. 😂

@@notoriousmole YES. I would watch this. He would get absolutely wasted in the London episodes as they are so close together.
The final edit Stan did is incredible. Get your tissues ready if you haven't watched it yet.

More interviews from Stan - so amazed by the whole team! Well done!
Love this episode so much. What a dude. Can't believe it'll already be 2 weeks on Sunday.
Finally the Stan interview we needed! I'm done with those news casts these are the kind of post running Africa interviews I want! Also once again nice Job boys, sending lots of love to the whole crew!

Also just wanna say great interviewers making it casual and all these other interviews skip right over the charity which is really important
Proud of the whole team. Really incredible what you all pulled off. So much grit, determination and bravery. Just on another level.
Absolute legend!!!
First heard about Russ on the pod and promptly followed him on KZread. Joined his Patreon. Not sure if it was for funding the trip or helping the charities but was happy to help either way
£953,834.72 raised for the charities as of 18 April. 95% of goal and still rising!

A longish video on KZread. The glory days are back!
When Stan said "Run the whole world" - I thought at first he meant Russ as supreme world leader! Scary thought! 😅
Please get Kevin Turner, the martial artist, on the pod
