This was cool to watch. The update cleared most of my issues. Key fob is still not great, but it is more consistent now. Ultimately happy with my One.

Just picked up my Ocean Extreme from the Corte Madera Calif. delivery location. Drove back across the Golden Gate Bridge and about half way home to San Jose, the low tire pressure warning came on for all four tires. I'll be checking them in the AM to make sure that this is not a software glitch. I was told that the Driver Assist system might be "blinded" by lower angle sun light hitting the cameras and "blink off" and come back up. That didn't happen to me. But oh the chimes .. I've gotta back off some of those! I did find that you can't drive with the key fob in your pocket, you have to dock it in it's slot before the system (v1.11.3) will let you drive in any direction. -Cheers.

Thanks Adam! Well done. My new update on my Ultra is it is on a boat going through the Panama Canal and will arrive at a West Coast port on or about Jan 28. I got a call from a Fisker rep who said we’ll be my contact. I told him I want to pick up my Ultra and save the delivery fee. He said he is working on that and already called me back telling me he is making progress.

Hey Adam, I have been following your channel for 2 months and have learnt much about the FO development. My FOE is scheduled to arrive in early Feb. I wonder if you can please cover the current state of the app features. I was under the impression that you could pre-condition cabin temps, lock/unlock cars, etc. How many of the features are available and what is coming next?

How does Fisker tech measure up to the various automotive OS’s out there? It would be the selling point for me. Right now, I’m thinking Polestar has Android OS and Waymo, which is probably the best out there, though I’m thinking that the corporate behind their SPAC is likely Apple, since Foxconn is getting involved in Ohio.

Both the Polestar and the Ocean use Android Automotive technology. Not to be confused with Android Auto. However, Fisker has not been able to release the most complex software to run its driver Assistance, Traction control, and v2x capabilities. Hope this helps, Cheers!

Thanks for the video. I noticed that his ambient lights remained on well past the 30:00 mark. I'm curious if that means the update still wasn't completed at that time. For my update I checked in on the vehicle after about 40 minutes. It seemed okay with all systems appearing to be off inside, so I got in and started it back up. After checking the updates on screen I then locked and exited the vehicle. However, I noticed that the ambient light would still stay on - never fading off. So I had to then unlock the vehicle and change the screen setting to manually turn off the ambient lighting, then exited and locked it once again. That did work but it seems like an unnecessary step and one I would likely forget from time to time, therefor draining the battery. I tried doing this multiple times with the same result. Have others experienced this as well? . Also, prior to entering the vehicle you mentioned that the update was confirmed. Was there a notification sent to the phone app to notify him of the update? If so I didn't receive that.

Thanks for the info! The instructions Fisker sent out to Ocean One owners before the first OTA advised that once the update was completed to perform one more additional lock unlock cycle. As far as the confirmation, I was referring to the notification at the top left of the central touch screen that says “update successful,” and Brian simply clears it. Hope this helps. Cheers!

I didn't get any notification the update was done, but it has a notification on the screen that it has been updated when you wake it back up

Lowly Fisker seems to have mastered OTA much better than the barely known brand VW.
