blue + red make purple ! (teal is a blue and pink is a red) handy to know though if youre fed up with blue tones

marely Maldonado I would definitely put the pink over to cancel out the blue and make it purple. Then wait for the purple to fade!! After the purple faded I mixed orange and red together to make a reddish pink color :)

marely Maldonado or you could add the purple on top of the blue/green, as long as it’s very well faded. That’s what I do I go back and forth 😂 and it looks amazing

I know this comment is a year old but in case anyone else read this and want this color you ask for. I had pale yellow after bleaching my 1.5cm ish roots and super light minty toned (stain from old purple, looks like super blonde in somr lights but minty green in other lights) level 10 bleached hair at the rest. And I had some left over colors I mixed to create a gradient effect. I kinda managed to get this color you wanted at my roots. I'll write my mix in next comment.

I had a small bottle of (AF T) arctic fox transylvania (black with slight blue undertones ), this is very potent (warning, it bleeds a lot in the start so it will fade quickly, especially when diluted, so if it gets tooo dark it's not for long). A tiny bit of leftover (AF VD) arctic fox violet dream (This is more like a magenta pink, not really purple). And I had some plain cheap conditioner (use a white one to estimate color more easily). My hair length is about 2 inches below my collarbone btw. I mixed 3 variations of colors from these. I used; 1. At my roots, about 1-2 inches. 2. For the middle of my lengths. 3. I used for the tips, arount 1/3 of my lengths. 1. Super dark smokey gray with a slight purple hue. In conditioner I added the AF T (very pigmented, use sparingly) and a bit of the AF VD. 2. A little more diluted version of the first color but with more AF VD so it became more smokey purple to counteract the green undertones of my hair. 3. A diluted AF VD. I started with my roots carefully so I didn't stain the rest of my hair because of the very dark color, looked almost black while applying. And then when the roots dried a little I applied the colors on the miss and ends so it didnt transfer over to the lighter parts as easily. I made sure to dry my gloves and use separate brush when applying colors, and after applying I blended the lines, I also switched up how far up the pink parts were trough my hair so I had some nice subtle "highlights". My roots turned a super nice dark smokey color with some blueish undertones, the pink in the AF VD made sure it didn't turn green from my yellow undertones after I have now showered. My mids are a slightly lighter smokey blue now too but it had started to show some teal undertones (didn't use enough pink to counteract the minty blonde hair under it. And since it's more diluted it shows more), and my ends turned into a nice slightly smokey light purple (with more pink undertones), since the light pink neutralized the minty color underneath and the blending of the mid color smoked it out a bit.

Mine is kinda the opposite right now. It's Virgin Pink with some parts faded, and I'm looking to put Aquamarine over top of it and I'm wondering if I should lighten my hair before dyeing it or just going for the purple/blue color it'll turn out to be.

Same mine faded to a teal green I want to go purple but it’s so hard to get greens and blues out I bleached my roots and with the left over bleach I added head and shoulder mixed and put it on the rest of my hair adding the ion booster and it got light but not how I wanted it the green is definitely still there but 3 x lighter should have watched this first well about to dye it purple let’s see how it turns out

Watching because crazy colours violet (shown as a dusty purple colour on their website) turned my pale white hair electric blue that faded into this same colour 🙄 disappointed, but happy to see it worked! Trying tonight.

@@AethericVisions I love it! I had let it fade a bit so I got a light blue just to take some of the green tones away, let that sit for a bit and then went in with Artic Fox's hot pink. It went a neon purple and has faded nicely into a light purple with sky blue undertones. If I ever have this issue again I'd just be weary of putting the hot pink on my roots first because those bits did go pink; not for long and it looked cool, but not what I wanted. Safe to say next time I'll be doing a strand test!

Would it be the same outcome if I put teal over pink?

In high school I loved using One n Only or Ion. The only thing about One n Only is their colors are hard to come out, at least for me. So I stopped using it. How did it come out though??

Is your pfp the result of the pink over faded green?

I mean simple knowledge of color theory will tell you pink over blue makes purple like blue and yellow makes green … looks good either way .

So I already put dark purple over my teal and after a while it fades to like a dark dark blue purple ... idk if pink would help at all I just want it to stay a true purple :(

You CAN just mix it with white conditioner it'll do the same EXACT thing. Ive used almost EVERY color and they usually look a lil better...yours DEF does AND is actually 1 of 3(just bc i think its the new pink not "electric paradise" that i HAVEN'T tried. I just did mine f purple(girls night) AND the "elec paradise" but after Easter I went over the pink w "aquamarine" so its a deep really vibrant blue and purple now. The "bluish" colors CANT go over blonde unless u tone/purple shampoo (shampoo on for hours/literally ALL night) otherwise it'll just be green. I love how that pink faded, thank you for showing me. I've had black "transylvania" for months but havent used it. Swatching it, it had some deep blue undertones so i think it wld actually fade nice. Have u tried it? I also mix em sometimes and use "oVertone too. AF is def the best✌💙💜🍇☔🌀🌊💎💁 And L'ange has great violet toning shampoo and now a SUPER pigmented purple mask.

No not only will mint not cover it but mint is green and red and pink are opposite or green on the color will its neutralize each other and likely turn muddy you need to remove the pink

I love the original colour but it won't suit me. I have purple right now and had it for 2 months and may be dying it blue next! (Never had it blue before)

This is just what I needed. I bought aqua, fushia, and purple in July. I used aqua first and it was suppossed to wash out in 14 shampoos but is still aqua just with my roots showing now and I was wondering what would happen if I went ahead and used the fushia. I think I will do that and it should turn purple then I will have more purple to redo it later.

Ok so I did color remover. And now the top of my hairs blonde and the rest is green. Should I just go for it with the pink? I’m worried it’s gonna be major patchy

Yeah mine turned out good too the top was just a lil darker where the green was and faded into a lighter pink of the same color but looked like I did it on purpose
