A proper weld should have a strength higher than the parts being welded. In the video shown, the parts did not bend on impact. It was the weld itself that was bent.

but the weld had less throat depth than plate thickness , if welded both sides with a 2 mm fillet , it would never break

Credo sia evidente che la saldatura laser non è debole e non ha problemi. Piuttosto ha molti vantaggi. Tranne il costo della attrezzatura. Che spero cali in fretta.
А с внутренней стороны почему шов не показали, там же трещины.

Автор любуется наружной поверхностью шва после прохода лазером, в то же время изнаночную сторону, по которой и можно оценить провар, тщательно засекречивает, хаха. После, зачем-то бьёт конструкцию молотком, очевидно проводит деструктивный тест, который показывает только то, что два куска пластичной нержавейки держатся вместе. Загадочное видео.
