Ultimate Spider-Man was my childhood, and was probably in my top... 3 or 5 Gamecube games of all time. From losing 47 times in a row on that last Johnny Storm race, to rampaging around the city, maintaining Venom's bloodlust, fending off the city and it's army, it had everything my child brain needed. I need to give these new ones a shot maybe?

The last 2 Spiderman games are some of my if not my favorite games ever

Web of Shadows was/us the best experience ive had with a Spider-Man game! Comic book world with super hero team-ups. Various combos with 2 different combats (red suit/black suit) Such control over traversal (run, crawl, or fall when you land on a wall all by holding different buttons). The controls were a bit complicated, but master them and you can experience Spidey's real life web-swinging!

I was full expecting one to just cop out and have one of the spiderman's break through the glass into some person's random apartment or office job and trying to quickly apologize before they go back to crime fighting and probably scrambling to write a spider check, that I imagine was specially decaled by some bank.

You can stick in the old Spiderman 2 game, you just have to hold down a button on contact with the wall. You could also sprint along the wall with the distance depending on your speed and the angle of contact.

I think if you start a swing and hit the wall as your swinging it should do that smack kinda animation. But if your not in a swing and your kinda jumping towards it you should stick

Actually in the Spider-Man 1 game if you swing into the edge of the building with your shoulder you’ll do like a 360 spin type animation & in The Spider-Man 3 game. I remember swinging into buildings at full speed and pancaking into the building just like in Web Of Shadows

You can slam against the wall in spider-man 3 also. The xbox360/ps3 versions anyway. Accelerated web-zip is all it takes.
