my dad recently let me ride on the back of his bike and i nearly fell off lol, the pulls are insane lmao, especially for me who the biggest bike ive ridden is a yamaha yz85 2stroke

The lady falling off of the back of the bike is a prime example why I would never let a random girl on my bike. They tend to not hold on tight enough. Not sure what happened in this situation though.

Another lesson to take to heart here is NEVER EVER leave someone laying on the road... EVEN with a hard shoulder. Asphalt is for vehicles and tires... It's too often we even see other motorcycles run right through a group of parked bikes on the side of the road... I know it's about clean and dry and all... BUT get to the GRASS past a barricade. At least that there's no certainty, there's a LOT more risk on the asphalt. ;o)

02:05 the dude gets out and looks at his vehicle for damage and doesn't even look at what he hit or if the person is ok. Whaaaat. Reminds me of when I nearly got hit while riding my electric kick scooter. The truck in front of me turns left and I pull up to the stop sign and look both ways. I start to go after double looking right. Then the truck in front of me is reversing from the lane they were just in and nearly hits me but I was agile enough to avoid it by inches. I stop in the middle of the street. He reverses back into the parking lot we just came out of then turns right. And it seemed like the vehicle behind me was shocked because they were paused for a long moment even after I was already leaving the area and while I was turning down the next street.

That first clip can't be real. No one is THAT Canadian.

I remember one time my family was in Arizona going to the red rocks when our car ran out of gas a couple minutes from a gas station and around 100+ bikers helped push our car to the pump so we can drive home. It was wholesome

Friend of mine wanted a gender reveal for her pregnancy. Asked me to handle the 'reveal' aspect. She had asked her OBGYN to onlly tell her 'healthy' or 'not healthy. Imagine her shock when she opened the box, and a balloon popped out, split in half with blue and Pink saying 'its twins'. As a father of twins myself, whom she mocked relentlessly for long sleep nights, i felt this was karma.

Nice to see riders helping other instead giving the bird to who ever they felt dis’d them.

My uncle owns some old Harley's. I tell you, those things are so safe I could sit on the back without holding on and the seat was SO COMFORTABLE.

So a couple of things. 1: anyone who would stretch barbed wire across an ATV/Moto trail, deserves to be flayed. Obviously, if its not a marked trail, and they are trying to keep bikers and such off their land to avoid damages, this is different. 2: I work in healthcare, and did a lot of time in the ER as an RN. Road Rash is not a joke. I have seen big, burly biker dudes with missing limbs, and military experience, cry like toddlers because of road rash. and I've had it, and so i can say with confidence, as someone who barely felt it when he broke his ankle and dislocated his knee in a hiking incident and walked out under his power, that shit hurts. No matter your pain tolerance.

​ @Aabcul Yes, the car backed into the him. You can see that the car change into reverse transmission after the biker stop. Even if by any chance it's the biker's fault, as a car driver must check and make sure the biker is alright first because biker tend to get injured more than someone who is more protected inside car.

Yo riders, don't immediately go for your clutch when braking hard, you'll be freewheeling/coasting and that'll remove all the engine braking instantly, literally causing you to accelerate a bit. If you watch at 8:38, he even grabs the clutch slightly before the front brake (which, on top of that, usually have more resistance). It's better to force/train yourself to grab the clutch slightly after the brake. Even if you don't grab the clutch at all, the worst thing to happen is that your bike will stall and, since you're still in gear, the engine braking will be the same as if you locked up your rear. In a curve, this means you'll low side, whereas speeding up due to grabbing the clutch too soon will straighten the bike up, preventing you from turning (and potentially going right into the incoming lane/outside yours). If you don't train yourself to do that when you are calm, you won't think about it during when panic braking ("panic" is in the word for a reason).

@@carista9248 yeah Exaggerate that when braking normally to get used to it so that, when panic braking, you are less likely to grab the clutch before you started braking, which would cause a short burst of acceleration from the removal of the engine braking. Some bikes are easier to stall than others but I know I can drop mine to 1k RPM before risking a stall (from the average 4-5k I usually drive at). When I'm chilling, I'll exaggeratingly wait almost a whole second before pulling in the clutch (this is wayyyy too much, but if you just pull both the clutch and brake lever at once, the clutch will be pulled in faster because it has no resistance).

what about 2 strokes? they dont have engine breaking ? i get it like most roadbikes are 4 strokes but the real situations where you need to *properly brake in time or u die* is when ur out on a dirt bike, and especially a 2 stroke, no engine breaking there.

Barb wire in the wrong place is a recipe for disaster a mile from my parents house was a nasty curve . A farmers land. He had barb wire up to keep the cows in. Unfortunately three people died on that corner. The guy going up hill tried and tried ,I always liked doing it .

If you look up "stupid" in a dictionary, it's the degree of knowing better and not using it... going back and making the same mistakes over and over, either because you can't possibly learn any better or simply because you've chosen to continue doing the stupid things... "Ignorance" is the condition of never having been exposed to information to have the chance to learn. It's fixable by education.... AND a lot of people (including riders) get the two terms confused. As mature as it might seem this guy was... he's also apparently the text-book definition of "stupid"... Maybe he'll learn but he's already using up time in an unforgiving sport. ;o)

I sometimes wonder why cars have indicators when the idiots that drive don't use them me and my daughter nearly got run over about two weeks ago and the driver had the check to try and blame us when he went through a red light maybe a lot of these drivers need their eyes tested .

so hi im GAB so in nov 3 2021 i have in a accident: so when i turn left i was so close to a white car its a Nissan TERRA and i was so close to it that when i the car breaks i hit it but my speed is around 10 or 15 idk so i hit it ;-; but its not much of a damage to my motorcycle and the car so its all good i just wanna say some story but the white car the Nissan TERRA is our car hahahaha so my mom din't get mad so im good : ) hope you see this (resent)
