That sounds like a really fun movie concept. Imagine an Alien race comes to Earth to try and colonize it, but they ended up arriving during a Zombie Apocalypses. Their technology may be miles superior to that of Earth, but the zombie infection has already extended across the whole planet and it spreads faster than the Aliens can kill them so they have to try and find another way to neutralize the zombie infection if they want to successfully invade the planet.

The main weakness of the mis against sculk infection is that they dont have purity potions nor do they have access to the sculk mob that pushes the sculk away. Thus they get overwhelmed instantly even phase 2 mis which have aircraft, tanks, and guns. Still really cool video i wonder how they will do against the fungal infection spore!

@@MADMAX-yj3wr That is what I thought. They can only really take on Vanilla and Vanilla+ level threats. Would they do better or worse against The Thing? Since it is balanced for just Vanilla, which is what the Mis primarily use.

@@Daralexen i have no idea since from another world and mi alliance dont have a single version that is compatible with each other, but if i were to take a guess i would assume the mis would struggle a lot early to mid game until they have access to fire then the fight is one sided

The Mis also may have a better chance due to it being balanced for Vanila. I am only concerned about the disguised Thing Mis causing issues with their targeting AI.

Awesome video!! Seeing this fated encounter happen is really cool, and your setups were very nice! Though, as you see, the Mis don't really stand a chance, haha! It's due to a different design direction: While the Sculk Horde is a nigh-insurmountable threat activated by players in the very late-game, the Mis are active from early onwards and their colonies are designed in a way that they could be defeated by a single player. In addition, Mis in-lore are immune to corruption (infections, charming, and other effects!) which can sadly not be portrayed here yet. I see I've got some improvements to make to the Config systems, haha! I am delighted to see you feature the Mis, and of course, I hope to see the Mis in other matchups very soon!~

@@projectblubber5751 Sculk can be defeated in singe player, and it even has a proper ending/way to stop it. Sculk was also very early on in older versions due to a bug that caused Nodes to spawn without awakening.

I like how the Mi Alliance and Skulk Horde both have limited resources to work with, Skulk is more hard-capped while mi alliance can always call more reinforcements but it has a cool dynamic

More types of invasion mods would be a nice change of pace. Stuff like the Mi's that build structures and gain power would make for an interesting challenge to overcome if you aren't quick enough or fail to notice them.

Nothing stands a chance against sculk horde just because of that tumor block that spawns sculk mobs. It appears when an entity has an infection effect. Imagine what can happen if a large group of mobs gets infected. That results in occurrence of large amounts of tumors that spawn mobs every 3-4 seconds. Sculk horde has to be difficult but this particular mechanic needs to be nerfed because it's strange and unforgiving. Once this thing appears, your base gets overrun with dozens and even hundreds of mobs instantly.

This is awesome! Seeing the sculk try to do a raid on the mis made it feel so alive and strategic! But strategy has been built into every individual mi and they fight to the bitter end (wish more "Chosen One" mis showed up tho, their abilities can go a long way). The terraforming is really cool, im kinda waiting for the mi alliance config to update so some stuff is more clear on how to use it, but this is a great showcase of it in action

That was so fun! Can't wait to see more of those with the Mii!

The Mis fought admirably, considering the whole point of the Sculk Horde is basically a war of attrition.

I think that mi vs spore might be a bit more of a fair fight as mis could actually kill mounds and proto and this stand a chance

It's a shame A Mi Alliance: Invasion isn't in 1.20.1 (I'm not willing to use 1.19.2 and unless it exists somewhere hidden, the most current version is 1.19.2)... but it probably won't be updated anymore like 90% of interesting mods do (there are meanings of cases that are updated, such as ice and fire, it is not the best example but it is the only one I can think of) I just wrote this with Google Translate, if something is wrong, be patient with me and don't tell me because I don't know English. well a little but not much so ... Oh, and I already brought the popcorn to see this.

Oh, you are mistaken! Mi Alliance is very much in active development, and it is my full intention to bring it to 1.20.1! I do have many other projects and college, though, so unless the community goes ahead and builds a port, it'll take a bit! Current plans are to release update 4.2.0 with new enemies and dungeons, plus a myriad of QoL fixes, in May, with a 1.20.1 port coming afterwards!

You should do a survival mode where you face both of these in your world.

The only thing that can defeat the sculk is the flesh that hates, I’ve tried it, but it lags SO much, there is like always 2000 entities.

Mi Vs. Spore would be awesome. Since the spore kinds of mimics technologies like i think the Sieger is a tank, Gazenbreacher is a submarine, Hindenburg is an aircraft. I hope the creator gives the Mis a submarine. Edit: Too bad mi alliances is at 1.19

A tad unfair to make Mi's fight when you dont give them much chance to prepare. It takes longer than that short time to prepare for attacks of something like the invasion pushing out.

The reason is the Scape and run mod is still version 1.12.2 it cannot fit in 1.20.1 the mod is WIP when is full release it will have a port to the version 1.20.1 someday it will take a lot work to the devs finish some fixes on the mod
