There are two presentations of VT: conscious and unstable. If the patient is conscious, their heart is still sufficiently beating and most likely the only thing you can do for them is to call them an ambulance so they can be carded at the hospital. If the patient is unconscious (unstable), their heart is probably beating too fast to pump blood effectively. CHECK THEIR PULSE! If you can’t feel a pulse, start CPR. VT is a shockable rhythm, and an AED will recognise that.

I've been suffering from arrhythmia since 2001 when I was only 38. I was found to have hyperthyroidism at the time which we believe may have been the culprit. Fast forward to 2023, and I'm still on beta blockers to this day. I've had just about every arrhythmia (recorded on heart monitors) minus the deadly one, thankfully. Take care of your heart and health.

Heart extracts power from the food and air in the blood like all other muscles . The nerves controlling the heart are all inside the heart, reacting to each other and some stress hormones from the brain . When those hormones get pumped into the heart, it speeds up to power any emergency jumping and running . But if that's not needed, it just wears out the heart until the stressed guy dies an early death .

Not a doctor but i do deal with the same problems. The answer is a change in how you spend your time. You must be studying for long periods of time, and i am assuming that you spend hours sitting in the same position. Try get in some short rests in between the hours and give your body some time to at least stretch and move around. Maybe every few 25 mins or so. Or atleast every hour. So Tl.dr Allot a scheduled time for yourself to rest and stretch your body and have blood circulate around. Your body is not designed to stay and sit in a fixed position for long intervals at a time that is why you have pain problems. I hope it helps. From one aspiring doctor to another, goodluck on the exams!

@@Dominic7449 it's best to eat 4-5 portions of fruits and vegetables a day and do cardiovascular exercise (strengthens the heart) such as walking don't exercise too much/too intense or use performance enhancers, athletes have an increased risk and most people need around 8 cups of water a day milk is fine but don't drink more than 3 glasses a day also get enough sleep per day for heart health
