I have been watching One Piece since I was 15 years-old. I am about to become 29, 4 days before Gear Fith, and the cherry on top of all that, I just had a baby girl. Her name is Lílian and we call her Lily, so to see you use her name as Luffy's kid made me tear up a little, not gonna lie. Thanks Ohara, mad respect.

The anime recently revealed, that Luffy actually has a plan, for what his wants after he becomes King of the Pirates. Not that they told the audience what his plan was. All we got was the shocked (and varied) reactions of the crew, with Usopp repeatedly stating it was impossible. Also, that his brothers and Shanks laughed at him when they heard it (the only other people Luffy has told, besides his crew). Shanks laughed so hard, he came to tears.

Probably because it's like what Shanks said to Rayleigh, that what Luffy said was exactly what Roger said, so in a way, Shanks at that moment when Luffy said his dream, saw Roger right there, proclaiming that very same dream.

@@stevenzupo6861 That's Luffy's "King of the Pirates" dream. This is Luffy's plan for after that. Rogers retired and lead a quiet life, until he gave himself up. That doesn't fit with Upopp's "impossible" claims. My guess is, Luffy's plan for after he becomes King of the Pirates is something like, "Making a world were no one goes hungry." Remember, this was a secondary goal he set when he was 7 years old. It will be a goal that will make the World Government shit its pants, but isn't a direct attack on them in motivation. Like, Luffy's secondary plan won't be to take down the World Government or the Navy. But he will need to take them down to accomplish this plan. "I gonna become the King of the Pirates, and then set EVERYONE FREE!"

​@@CyGeaThe person above you is right. Luffy isn't the first person to wanna be the pirate king after Roger's death. Shanks himself saw Roger in the flesh, and it had to be something more than just "Oh I'mma be king" to impress Shanks. Film Red might not be canon, but it gives a pretty good idea of Luffy's true dream. See how Uta claims to create a new age by controlling the people around her with her music and trapping them in a so called paradise forever? And Luffy claims that he will change the world in his own way as a pirate while ensuring everyone's freedom. I think that's his dream, which he shall achieve by taking down the Celestial Dragons and the Gorosei (and Lord Imu)

@@The_BlOb They have stated over and over, NO ONE has gone around saying, "I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" like Luffy and Roger. Others may talk about finding the One Piece and "trying" to become King. Luffy and Roger are the only two that flat out state, "I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" like it's an undeniable fact. It's the look in their eyes and how they say it. That is what impresses people. But that is NOT what I am talking about here. This is Luffy's dream for AFTER he becomes King of the Pirates, and I doubt it has anything to do with Roger and his dreams. Like I said, Luffy's full dream is probably something like, "I gonna become the King of the Pirates, (same as Roger) and then set EVERYONE FREE! (Luffy's, and just Luffy's, secondary dream)." We've known for a while, just finding the One Piece and becoming The King of the Pirates, wasn't the endgame. That's just the last stop, in the story, before taking down the World Government. So Luffy needs an unnamed dream for after finding the One Piece, that will give him motivation to go after the World Government.

There's already been a lot of foreshadowing that Luffy will die for his dream. Episode 1 is the very start for that. Then there are multiple instances where he has to trade his lifespan for something like Ivankov's recovery technique. If anything, he would end up like Roger, nearing his lifespan when he's about to reach his dream and then die just a few days or months after he finally succeeds. Luckily for him, Ope Ope no mi might come in clutch at the expense of Law's life. He would definitely refuse the treatment, but if he's knocked out, he can't refuse.

This is an incredible idea for the future of One Piece, there are some details I’m a little skeptical about actually happening, but otherwise it’s amazing. If I had to give one nitpick, it would be that (much like the entire fandom imagines Luffy naming his son Ace) I imagine that if he had a daughter he would name her Merry, both after the Going Merry and in reference to the joy and freedom that the world is currently experiencing thanks to him and his crew.

And after TS there wad still a limit and even now they may have a lot more smoothet animation but theres stillva limit before they can make it the smoothest it can be and they are limited by the budget (which is suprisingly high per ep now)

Im guessing he will get some kind of incurable disease (same as roger) right after defeating everyone except maybe Imu and reaching the last island. Then with chopper's dream of curing all diseases right as Luffy is about to die from said disease chopper makes the cure meaning chopper finally reaches his dream of curing all diseases and Luffy is back up strong after being cured and defeats Imu

This is my line up of strawhats after the end No one dies plz Luffy - Still pirating and being free man, bringing smiles. If he’s not pirating, he’s either dead or chillin with a family. Nami - probably goes back to cocoyashi and starts selling her maps, makes billions. Or she could continue to navigate the world with Luffy. Sanji - returns to the baratie and takes them all to the all blue, setting up the first restaurant in the all blue. He also becomes the full on new ceo or whatever of baratie. Head chef idk the statuses in cooking. Baratie also booms into a big business. Zoro - World’s greatest swordsman, I would want him to stray away from Mihawks end where he ends up a loner and super strong, so to parallel mihawk, Zoro would not only surpass Mihawk strength and power wise, he also surpasses him mentally and socially, so he goes back to Wano. And his lineage that traces back to Shimotsuki Furiko, makes him a heir to the Ringo region. Takes over Ringo as it’s new Daimyo, maybe Hiyori gets with him?? Whatever, I just want zoro back in Wano and him basically becoming the new Ryuma for them while Momo is the new Oden for them. Usopp - I have no idea, dude just wants to be a brave warrior so he could keep chilling with Luffy, he could literally found Sniper Island and become the king of snipers. Dude is a wildcard. Or, what I want, he goes back to with Kaya and they have a nice family and life together. Chopper - definitely sets up a hospital, maybe with law? Maybe with the minks? Maybe just with kureha. Maybe he goes and chills at Zou, maybe he goes back to drum island. Franky - He might become the next Vegapunk with his Franky Family back in water 7. Maybe making Water 7 basically his Egghead. Robin - She probably sets up a museum to properly teach people history, maybe also a library, rebuilds Ohara, maybe she continues traveling with Luffy as well, since she’ll start digging at history before the void century. Jimbei - Dudes a walking W, maybe he keeps sailing with Luffy. Maybe he goes back to fishman island, gets some political role or something. I think he would be a great leader and king for fishman island. Brook - goes back to being Soul King and making absolute banger music. Dude becomes the greatest performer ever, basically the Michael Jackson of One Piece. And just so we don’t have him lonely when time and age catch up to everyone, maybe brook’s bones decay over time and he dies at old age.

Luffy's daughter will probably be names Lucy after his entrance name in Doflimingo's tournament for the flare flare fruit. It just makes sense

I loved this video I think the Straw Hats will remain a crew together until Luffy dies . Because Luffy will become PK and he'll be PK for the rest of his life and PK needs a crew too . Even with a good government/justice they'll still be wanted so it's better to stay together. After all, being a pirate is for life. The only reason for the crew's separation is Luffy's death. I also think there's a very good chance that at the end of OP Luffy is on his island with all the people in the world and where he'll live with his crew when they're not at sea.

Hancock and Luffy have similarities between them such as their favorite color is red, gear 4 snakeman like Hancock has the title of snake princess, their nature is not following what people say, (And it's possible there are more). Oda makes the two of them really have similarities And also like the other characters, namely Sanji and Pudding who like to cook, Zoro and Hiyori have the same hair color and are the same descendants of the greatest samurai warriors

By the time Luffy would become the Pirate King, the world wouldn't see him as a pirate anymore; they would see him as the warrior of liberation, the liberator of the world, but most certainly not as the Pirate King.

I have to say Thank you so much Manu, I started watching the one piece anime (Yes I know the manga is better but I can't read it consistently) And I have you to thank for introducing me to this amazing world of of the grand line. I can't thank you enough for your amazing videos and because of your analysis of the series it encouraged me to immerse myself in it and I'm loving almost every episode, I just got to impel down and so far the pre time skip has been amazing and I'm looking forward to the war at marine fort and everything in post time skip. You're an amazing creator and I'm looking forward to catching up so i can enjoy this journey with everyone else in this community.

Two things I think would be different. 1.) If Franky expanded the Sea train, it wouldn't just travel on the ocean. He would've figured out how to make it fly!! Probably would've needed help from the Skypiea family. I believe that at some point, he designs tracks that allow the train to travel through the sky! 2.) Law wouldn't live on the island with Luffy. He is the Whitebeard of the new generation. So like Luffy he would have his own island and family to protect.

@@foyzurrahman2877 You know as soon as Ohara said both those things I pointed out in my base comment I though "Why" to each especially the "Lili" one. Luffy likes fighting more than music and Brook would already have his own place so the concert hall seemed like a weird choice. PrincessLili, Arabasta's princess, I'm sure will be alive and well come storys end. And Princess Lili wasn't Luffy's "First Boa", first love interest, or anything real special to Luffy. And I knew it had nothing to do with Lily Enstomach, "Lily the Glutton", that appeared in the "Z's Ambition" Arc that tied "Film - Z" into the series right after the "Fishman Islands" Arc. Those were the onlyy 2 Lily's I knew from the series. Than after your comment I looked "Lilly" up on the "Wiki One Piece fandom page and it says "Queen Lily was revealed to be the ruler of Arabasta during the Void Century 800 years ago." So you were right, at least "Lily" dosen't sound like such an odd choice now. I'm still kind of partial to "Merry" though, "Merry" had a active roll in the currentstory where "Queen Lily" didn't.

I honestly don't like the idea of luffy getting married and having a kid. It just doesn't make any sense, because he's never been shown to have any interest in romantic and sexual things, so it wouldn't make sense for his character

Rather than excellent swordsman, I think momonosuke will become the strongest creature of one piece, who had learned all power ups of kaido from yamato, developed haki, and is a good swordman.

This was an awesome video. I really do hope that a few years after the end of One Piece, a movie comes out to show what the major characters are up to, it would be a nice treat for the fans... and would make BANK.

@@Raghav___1 It’s not bullshit. It’s Japan we’re talking about, they’ve gone off the deep end when it comes to things of more erotic nature. It’s like she says, people forgive her because she’s beautiful, when in reality she’s a tyrant. It’s the unwritten rule «DO NOT stick your dick in crazy». If she was introduced as the main love interest for Luffy, why is it that, A. She’s so much older, B. She’s so storywise irrelevant and C. The relationship and romance are so unexplored? The relationship is super one-sided. Luffy met her, liked her food and dipped. Like I said, she won’t attack Luffy, but everybody else is fair game, she actively views Robin and Nami as threats and if Boa hurts them Luffy will crush her. The only reasonable relationship in One Piece i’ve seen is Sanji and Pudding and due to the circumstances that didn’t work out. It’s not exactly unusual in anime for crazy girls to get rejected. Luffy is Joyboy, the warrior of freedom. Boa is a tyrant and terrorist. If it works out, I stand corrected, but i’m not gonna stand here and act like their potential relationship makes sense.

While I get all the death forshadowing for Luffy I want it to play out more like the scenario described... that in a few years we'll get a sequel series with Luffy deciding to embark on a new adventure.

is it just me or am i the only one that wants to see luffy and his crew become what they wanted for the past 2 years kinda and ohara needs an oscar for these vids they are fire

I personally hope he doesn’t have a kid or if he does he adopts, also the fact that he finds Zoro first is pretty hilarious

I Agree Because If Luffy Does Get Married That Would Just put His "lover" In Danger, and he still hasn't quit piracy, and Luffy's character doesn't make sense since he's showed no romantic interest in the manga/show anyways.

I am just at minute 3, but already can say: nice one. You are doing a fantastic job by predicting, dreaming and living this one piece. Manu, you show, how open minded east germans can be. Thx and go on!

I always thought that if luffy found the one piece he would make divisons so he could still be friends with his crew while also making it bigger and so they can all pursue there dreams

I was actually hoping that Lily's mom and Luffy's wife is Nami until the very last few minutes. It is really heartbreaking that you made Boa the wife who has no real chemistry with Luffy and there is only one sided love and that also mostly feels like a gag thingy in One Piece. Plus the age gap! 😢 I think the rest of the things you mentioned were just perfect and beautiful! 😅

I do understand there would be no romance between the SHs but tbh I can't really see Luffy with anyone else, a tiny bit with Nami since they share an emotional and mutual bond, but if not her then I guess it would just be weird unless there are some improvements in Luffy's romantic life in future with someone (or Boa).

Two things I learned after watching romantic relationships in Naruto and Dbz. The female who shows interest in the protagonist since the start, gets the protagonist. Protagonist reciprocation/ choice doesn’t matter. I have seen it so much that I believe it it true. In one piece, other than Boa Hancock there is no other woman who had openly declared her love for Luffy.

And when it comes to romance, in popular shounen, they just deal with it quickly and often with the same technique and to keep the element of surprise uses the most obvious woman but not the main female lead like nami in one piece.

And nami never showed any emotion of love towards luffy or any other straw hats then what makes you think that they are more than just friends. Only after watching one piece I found out that people who ship luffy and nami exist 😂

i dont think luffy will die , oda has stated that he does not kill characters because he wants to end the arcs with banquets and he also said that he wants to end the one piece with a huge banquet edit : he might get a disease , but chopper's dream is to cure every disease so he will probably save him (if he does not , chopper can not accomplish his dream)

Luffy with nami make me feel like incest. Even nami/robin with sanji dont feel right. The best thing about being nakama in strawhat crew they dont need romance to love each other. They can tease, prank, insult or flirt without the need to involve with each other romantically.
