What Happens After 30 Days of Taking Steroids?

This video is for educational purposes only.
What would happen if I took steroids for 30 Days? I’m a lifetime natty, but nowadays it seems like so many athletes, actors, and even social media influencers are hopping on steroids. It got me thinking, how serious are steroids side effects? Could I actually use them safely? I wanted to speak to people with first-hand experience. First, I reached out to a bodybuilding veteran to show me the ropes on testosterone.

Jaws is one of the world’s top bodybuilders, finishing in the Top 25 as a Mr. Olympia Competitor. Jaws won his first competition as a natural back in 2014. But when he started competing on stage against enhanced bodybuilders, the decision to take steroids was essentially “a must” if he wanted to keep advancing.
Clement, a 26-year-old ex-steroid user, who had a similar experience. ”Yeah, the placebo kicked in right away. I thought I was the biggest dude in the world the next day, I swear.”
Testosterone doesn’t just affect your muscles. It can also impact your mood, energy levels, confidence, libido… even your appetite. Jaws: “You’re just burning through everything you eat. Like, I would have a cheat meal every day and maintain six pack abs.” At this point, I’m thinking: More energy, more motivation, and looking better after cheat meals?! Where can I sign up?
Then, they shared their experience of how taking steroids for the initial 30 days affected them in the gym. Clement: “As we progressed into the cycle, that's when I just threw weights that I didn't know I could throw.” Jaws: “Once the fourth week hit, all of a sudden, it was like I hit NOS when I was driving a car or something. My strength just skyrocketed.”
As for actual muscle growth, natural lifters can gain anywhere from 20-40 lbs of muscle in their lifetime. But, for guys on gear, it goes up to a whopping 45-120 lbs. Tempting, but if I was about to throw my Natty card away for life, I needed to know more.
Luckily for me, there was no better person than steroids coach and educator, John Jewett of J3 University.
John: “A lot of the guys are worried about short-term side effects, right? You're going to worry about your hair or testis shrinkage or acne. But the true dangers that I would be worried about are the long-term effects of steroid use, which are absolutely very much pertinent even in short-term use.” Talking to John, he explained that even if you’re careful to do everything right, there’s still a chance you won't see the results you’re hoping for. And the reality is the side effects can become life threatening. For example, organ enlargement and failure.
I realized something important. For guys like Jaws, using steroids isn’t about looking good on the beach. Bodybuilding is his passion. And in his world, the line between a winning physique and long-term health issues is incredibly thin. It was inspiring for me to see what he, and many others in the sport, are willing to risk in pursuit of their dreams. But they’re not for everyone. As a natty, building more muscle sometimes feels painfully slow. But it still comes with its own set of rewards.
So am I going to take the jump and start using steroids? No. For starters, my Filipino doctor mom would absolutely kill me if I did. And even though I could probably see more improvement from 30 or 90 days of taking steroids than I could in my next year or two of training as a natural, the progress would come with way too many risks that I’m not willing to take.

I'm a 70 year old man that has been resistance training for over 50 years natural. I'm very pleased with my physique as my videos shows. I have seen PED's used a lot in those 50 years. There was gym owner that told me that since I had been lifting for the past 5 years at his gym that I owed it to myself the start PED's. I didn't but a few people at the gym did. They got bigger and changed really fast. One day this young guy started at the gym. He worked out hard and started doing PED's. He gain a lot of muscle and eventually became a professional wrestler. He died at 55. The owner of the gym is still alive. He was on drugs for along time. He developed health issues and at the age of 75 has lost every bit of muscle that he had. I had my test. checked 5 years ago and the total was 325. I'm waiting for another blood test now to check my free test, SHBG and total. It will be interesting. I'm low-T. For me, taking testosterone was a necessity rather than a choice. Keep in mind that my normal T level is low and the supplemental T brings me up to normal. That is different from any guy (body builder or not) who is normal and supplements to be above normal or a high normal. That said, I can elaborate on one of the health risks that was mentioned: using testosterone can lead to heart problems, heart attacks, and even death. Here's how that works: taking Testosterone can trigger the production of red blood cells. Get too many and the blood can act like a gel rather than a liquid. This puts extra pressure on your heart. My red blood cell count does creep up so my doctor checks my levels a few times a year to make sure they don't get too high. I donate blood a few times a year to keep it in check.

Been doing TRT for about two years. I don't take massive amounts and under a doctors care. I have not noticed any real measurable side effects. The only really noticeable side effect has been shrinking testicles which really isn't an issue as I don't worry about accidentally sitting on them anymore. I am sixty and am glad I started as the up side has been worth it to me. Anything can be abused and cause harm.

Another thing I'm surprised no one spoke about, was that muscles grow bigger and stronger faster than tendons and joints which can literally have crippling effects long term , Ronnie as example or the numerous pec tears that happen , bicep tendons snapping etc Can't wait

I dont think you answer your video title.. Im at my 34, doing gym since i was 20 and only took creatine and protein whey. The question here is a test injection of 1-2 months with gradual dosage (not straight 500mg) would help motivate the body, give some impressive results and burn fat easier. And then of course slowly phase it out reducing the dosage in the duration of 2 months. Thats what the question should be

The side effects were unpleasant, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I can't even imagine the impact that using anabolic steroids would have on someone over a long period. Saying, "'Roids work," listing side-effects, and then asking them "Why do you want to take PEDs?" And keep asking "Why?" to the reasons they offer. They most often talk themselves out of it. Very good video, including all the people you interviewed. I would just like to point out that I saw 2 numbers thrown out there: 600 mg/week and 500 mg/week. Those sound typical as "bodybuilder doses" (I've even heard of higher), but the side effects, risks and dangers, usually come with those high doses. Just to be clear, being on TRT (typical doses 100 mg to 200 mg/week) rarely have such risks. However, even on 100 mg/week, you still need to have a physician observe your bio-markers to ensure things are not going sideways (raised HCT - Hematocrit), and the LVH (Left Ventricular Hypertrophy - enlargement of left side of heart) is usually only in the very high doses. While most should not (if ever) use those high doses, being on the TRT dose can really improve things with minimal risks (if done properly). Attitude and counselling are important here - and your video here does a good job of that, giving good advice.
