Imagine understanding this in your 20's. What opportunities lay before you. What a life you're going to lead. I was 54 before I figured all this out. And I'm still healing and yet to start my authentic journey. In my case I achieved the material desires that society expects us to, only to find life completely empty once I hit my "Goals". The upside of this is I now don't need to work or worry about money. The downside is I won't get the time back. Trust me when I tell you the lost time isn't worth the money.

in your next life you will most likely figure it out a lot earlier! everything happens exactly when it is supposed to for each individual's life path. I can understand this frustration though. it's just the timing of which the world is waking up & it's all divinely perfect. you are divinely perfect.

Thank you for sharing that… that means a lot. I’m the opposite. Few possessions but I value my time and am ‘getting by’. But I’m really filling myself up with experiences I love and enjoy. And I accomplish quite a bit being this way. Much love.

I just cried after you said “Your hobbies, your passion and your interests, they will lead you to your purpose”. I’m going to be 25 soon, and I’ve realized how much I put myself aside in the past 5 years because I needed to have a degree, I needed to have that white collar job, I needed to have a nice house and car. By pursuing all of these materialist stuff, I lost my self along the way. I just now started my authenticity journey, where I’m coming back to my interest, hobbies and passion. Thank you for this video, my soul needed to hear this.

Omg this is amazing! I turned 25 last month and also spent several years feeling lost, especially the last five as well, because all my life I was told I needed the have a linear path. But then nothing was sticking, except for my passions that I wasn't allowed to pursue when I was younger, so I didn't even consider them. Today was the first day I started searching for the kind of job I would really like to have. And even though I know it will be tough and there will still be voices in my life telling me I won't be able to do it, I can now see that all the things I did by myself while feeling like a failure and like society was judging me have now become me, and even small things like going to see a movie by yourself cuz you just feel it feels amazing, and you still have other people in your life. But your me time is awesome and you say it proudly cuz you earned it. You pushed through the discomfort. And I'm just so glad that this is slowly happening all around. A life is a life and all should be able to experience all the joy possible, no matter the age (I used to feel like my path was already carved bc some people say it is!). Of course we appreciate it even more after the confusion. It's all part of it 💜

This feeling is so freeing. It's hard to describe. We are so restricted by some expectations of other people and society but when we truly become ourselves, we can truly live. Someone might think we are weird or something but who cares? You will pass this person and they won't give you a second thought. Honestly, we usually care too much but we need to remember we are just background in most people lives and they don't really care that much. It might sound sad but I mean it in a good way. Have a lovely day!

You're so highly attuned, I'm glad I have watched you touch on these topics. An irony: Our ego, keeping us safe, self-soothing? Self-sabotage as well, as you pointed out. We need to embrace a growth, healing mindset and trust our inner self; The ego is like an overprotective carer, its craving safety limits our ability to grow, work through "dangerous" feelings. Stop nurturing ego, start trusting expansive you. It's great to see someone your age sharing your knowledge; at your (assumed) age I didn't want to share - My ego was hiding so much from me, to keep me "safe".

I’ve been a programmer, carpenter, math-aid… I’ve been a body builder, personal trainer, prison guard, etc. I’ve battled my emotions, my thoughts and my spirit. But now I’m at a place where I realize that, like you said, what **I** am interested in and enjoy doing is probably the most important part of my purpose. Energy. That’s what my emotions, thoughts and spirit is and I’m no longer attaching my identity to any of these things. Just setting goals, planning and then flowing. I tend to imagine a world with just me. And in that world I can accomplish anything. Other people are usually the cause of my downfall so I avoid people and focus on myself and others on my path. Blessings, thank you for the content.

You're doing good - Literature IS art and so often books have so many elements of psychology within them - from the worlds and societies the stories take place in, to the people, the characters and their relationships. I had a similar journey, honours degree in photography/art history. Masters degree in Psychology. Now i'm just a book worm in my alone time. One thing will lead to another, and each thing you take with you will always bring something of value to your next venture. There’s a lot in my life I’m very curious about, so I read voraciously. I absolutely love learning about human behavior, even my own. I’ve struggled to live authentically in a few areas of my life; fear holds me back to a certain extent from doing so. Thankfully I’ve begun to find the people who 100% understand a side of me I’m still trying to understand myself, which is absolutely amazing!! Finding these people has immensely helped me feel better about beginning to live authentically. But back to you. You are an amazing human being! Please remember this!!

I embraced my "weird" too. And i started doing things for me. I healed what was broken and started loving myself. I no longer care what people think. That's not my business. I get downloads and i do meditation as well. My purpose is just to live life and do my thing. I started painting after being put in a wheelchair and i dedicated 6 hours a day to teaching myself. I now sell my art. I put not only beauty in paint, but i put energy/frequencies into the painting so it actually changes the energy in the room to more positive. Yes, you must make the inner journey. I am so thankful for who i am and what i have. My reality IS my creation. I manifest anything i need or want. My income on paper looks bleak but the fact is that i have hundreds left over every month. I don't question how, that's not my job. It's my job to call it in, not to figure out how. I was forced into change as well. When i got put in a wheelchair, i could no longet run from myself and i had to face all my demons. Ironic that i didn't get free until i was no longer physically free. I did so much inner work that a 30 year addiction just fell by the wayside without any effort at all. It was the result of healing myself. I have 5 years now and i don't do meetings or avoid going anywhere. I am not the same person who got high. That was someone else. I bought a house, i got divorced and i live alone with my dogs and absolutely love it!! I'm finally free and i wouldn't trade it for anything

Super interesting video! It got me thinking, most of us know how important the individual activities that bring each of us joy and energy are. What drove its important home to me just now while watching your video is the comparison to food, kcal, energy. Food literally gives us energy. We need energy to survive. So we take it seriously. Hobbies give us energy, in a different way. Spiritually or physiologically, however you choose to see it, we all know it to be true. We need this energy to live happy lives, maybe even survive. Maybe it's why some people choose to kill themselves. They were starved for too long of that existential energy that brings with it more than a biological reason to live. Either way, I thought it was an interesting thought and I felt to share it.

It forces me to go where I've never been and to grow and I think that is only possible because I just listen to the Universe and all it's answers without a fight or resistance (or at least most of the time). Your video was exactly what needed to reach me and I'm so honored to have heard you message and to see you on your pathless path here on KZread!

I would so appreciate it if you could turn on the automatic subtitles as some of us do not understand English well. This sounds so interesting. Thank you 🙏
