    2:00 for context, a beloved teammate was also found dead of an apparent suicide days before the Wisconsin game. I remember Ezekiel Elliot saying he never played so hard in his life that game. Emotions were running high and the team was ready to win for their brother. On another note I’m a big Ohio State fan, both parents played basketball there and grandpa was a baseball coach. I’m very happy that this story is brought to light, mostly because its my favorite season of football to date. At the time I was 14 and I remember every game. Thank you for this.

    the reason the rest of the season up until the MSU game was a "disappointment" was because they were winning.... they just weren't winning by enough to please people. they were the reigning National Champs and were *knocked down from #1 while still undefeated,* specifically because they weren't beating teams by 160 points every week like people assumed they should. then they lose to the #9 team by 3 and get left out of the Playoff so Alabama could get another free Title. there was only one team that could've stopped Alabama that year, so the NCAA made sure to clear that hurdle for them. lose to #9 by 3 and get left out of the playoff, but wear an "Alabama" jersey and lose to #9 by TWELVE.... and here's your free Playoff spot :)

    Considering they lost to a Michigan State team that got destroyed by Alabama in the playoff that same season I am not sure how much "robbery" you can really claim here.

    These guys were all great... JT with his football IQ and leadership, Braxton was a monster of an athlete and Cardale has a cannon for an arm!!! But in my opinion best QBs to attend The Ohio State University are.... #1.Terrelle Pryor - even though his time @ OSU was marred with controversy, he was the best QB to ever wear the Scarlet and Grey. #2.Troy Smith - would've been #1 damn you non-OSU Urban Meyer🐊😂 #3.Craig Krenzel - 2003 Fiesta Bowl 'nuff said😎 #4.Bobby Hoying - leader of the highest scoring offense in school history barring 2010 season😥 #5.Les Horvath - 1st scholl Heisman winner and part of our 1st NC team '42

    I hate the Buckeyes with a burning passion (Roll Tide) but I have to give them respect for that 2014 team since it was FULL of star players and so much depth at QB. BUT now Ohio State has a guy that in my opinion is a combination of all three of these guys and his name is Dwayne Haskins who has proved me wrong about being a heisman QB

  • @thomasdrewing67

    @thomasdrewing67

    Haskins is not quite a Heisman QB. But he's definitely better than all 3 of these guys, which isn't saying much cause pretty much anyone is gonna look good playing under a Tom Herman offense with Zeke and Michael Thomas.

  • @labounti

    @labounti

    5 жыл бұрын

    He is very much a Heisman QB, I don't know how you make that determination but they are winning because of Haskins AND his numbers are Class A. Haskins in unlike all three of them..... he's not a runner. Even Jones at 2 inches and 35 pounds more was a better runner. The Running game is dead, the defense has big issues. Haskins and his receivers are the only thing keeping them in the games.

    LaBounti running game is dead? We have arguably one of the top duos of running backs in college football right now.

    LaBounti not to mention we’re not even taking advantage of Tate Martell. He should be going in on 4th and 1-2. He is great at scrambling and we’re underutilizing him.

    They do have phenomenal running backs and I agree. But they aren't running well in the challenging games. I blame the O-line and the non threating running ability of Haskins. I dunno, I don't recall OSU passing so much in games they have comfortable leads.

    I was a camera man at OSU during the Tyrell Pryor years. The Trio Season... was by far like nothing I ever saw before. Twice, we thought we had season ending QB injuries. I didn't even know, we had a 3RD ringer in que, in Jones. Braxton and Barrett were great, talent. But when Cardale Jones stepped in, he made it look SO EASY! The dude was a brick wall, and a cannon for an arm. If a player wins you a championship... he has earned the starting spot until he fails. I just never understood why it was even a question who would start the following year, he finally got his chance and he stepped up, he earned that first-string QB spot.
