There will be the knee jerk tendency to believe the Sabbath is for us. If you believe the Sabbath is for us, I ask that you do two things. 1. Explain why God seemed to say He is no longer in the Sabbaths any longer 2. Give a verse commanding the church to observe the Sabbath

How do you explain the Roman emperor's changing? December didn't disabled date from the seventh day, Saturday to Sunday. And they did that to remove any indication of Jewish tradition and heritage from Christianity and the room. The Roman Empire that was never God's intention to have the sabbath on a Sunday. Explain why that happened why the church still believes that and honors that we've got a clue set and beginning of genesis and exodus to keep the remember to sabbath and keep it holy

The question is not "what" is your Sabbath rest in the New Covenant? The question is "Who" is your Sabbath rest in the New Covenant? Col 2:16 Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths, Col 2:17 which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body is of the Christ; (YLT) New Covenant Whole Gospel: What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Do you actually keep the Sabbath though? You can’t cook, work, go out, you can’t use your phone, use appliances, or drive from Friday to Saturday……so do you actually keep the Sabbath yourself? If you don’t then that makes you a hypocrite because you must keep it the way the Jews do.

This was/ is an unfortunate teaching for several quick reasons. 1. Sabbath holiness began in Genesis 2 when there was no sin or Jews 2. Jesus said in Mark 2:27 that the Sabbath was for man (not Jews) and not man for the Sabbath. 3. Acts 13:42-44, the Gentiles asked to hear from the apostles on the next Sabbath, which means they were not lost on the day. 4. Many languages around the world translate the seventh day as “rest” 5. When the law was given, there was a mixed multitude with them, not just Jews hearing the law. 6. The law states within itself that it is for Jews and strangers. God is good and so is His law.

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: "So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest,'" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested on the seventh day from all His works"; and again in this place: "They shall not enter My rest." Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,. Those who put their faith in Christ have entered into this rest

Christ is Lord of the Sabbath because as its Creator, He gets to decide what is or isn't lawful to do during that time. It's funny how "Christians" will use this argument with the Sabbath, but you will never see anybody do this with the fake Catholic and Protestant festivals. @@smartchristians The Sabbath is the fourth commandment, and Jesus said, “if you love me keep my commandments”-John 14:15. The Sabbath day was never abolished, it was the annual sabbaths that were abolished at the cross. Those sabbaths were apart of the ceremonial laws of the Jewish nation. The law of Moses which contained the annual sabbath were placed beside the ark as a witness against the people according to Deuteronomy 31:26. “Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.”-Galatians 3:19. The commandments of the Lord written in stone which included the Sabbath day was put inside the ark which represents that it’s eternal. The law of God is a reflection of his character, and his law is perfect, eternal and just according to Psalm 19:7-9 and Psalm 119. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath according to Marc 2:28, and he made the Sabbath for man, and not man for the Sabbath according to Marc:2:27. Furthermore; Jesus told his disciples “Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.”-Matthew 24:20. We will keep the Sabbath day in the new heavens, and the new earth. “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.”-Isaiah 66:24. Notice he says “all flesh” not just “the Jews”.. Jesus came to fulfill the law, and the prophets; he did not come to destroy. Which was further shown in the vision some of the disciples received when they saw Jesus next to Moses and Elijah. “Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”-Matthew 5:19.

The sabbath still applies today. Exodus 31:16 [16]Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It says to keep it throughout your generations so forever. (You cannot heat up food or boil) Exodus 35:3 [3]Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. (You cannot work nor any of your cattle, children or servants.) Exodus 20:8-10 [8]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9]Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10]But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: (We got to gather on the sabbath thats what convocation means.) Leviticus 23:1-3 [1]And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, [2]Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. [3]Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. (Jesus kept that sabbath & taught the scriptures & said to follow him.) Luke 4:14-16 [14]And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. [15]And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. [16]And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. Jesus being the lord of the sabbath means that he allows certain things but not completely breaking it. As David did eat of the show bread meant for the levites but forgave him due to him being hungry & being a man that followed God with his heart. It also says that leaving a portion of your harvest for the stranger & for the poor so they dint break the sabbath by picking corn but reaping it counts as sin against the sabbath. Leviticus 23:22 [22]And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

I used to think like you but after 2 years of wrestling with Father, He won, Sabbath was made for man not man for Sabbath. The LORD loves us, His child and has set us an example by resting on this day. If He rested and commanded us to rest, why not try to follow His example if we love Him? He is a good Father, He will not give us the Sabbath rest to harm us. Let us give Him what is His and to Constantine what is Constantine's. Please be careful, in case you are wrong. Doesn’t matter because I’m sure you fall short sometimes, Bible says if you break 1 then you break them all, so even if you keep the sabbath and fall short of a different one whether the 10 commandments or the Lords commandments you basically broke the sabbath, read Hebrew 4, sabbath is a place believers enter when they believe the gospel, so my sabbath is everyday because I believe. Shalom and blessings.

The truth is, the sabbath is an eternal command, given on the 7th day of creation, God keeps it, and has given it to us to practice on earth. He made it a sign of his covenant to show that he is the creator of the Heavens and the earth Exodus 31:16-17. So when people keep the sabbath, they are proclaiming that they serve the Creator of all. Jesus is the Lord of the sabbath day, making the Lord's day, the sabbath day, not Sunday. Jesus told us in Matthew 5:17 that heaven and earth will pass away before even a smallest point of God's law does, implying that all of God's law is applicable to believers today, including sabbath. Isaiah 66 tells us that in the millennium, all nations will keep the sabbath week by week and will come to the new jerusalem Mount zion to worship. So past, present, and future, the sabbath is always a command that remains. There are many other arguments against the sabbath. They all fall flat when you read the scripture in context and when translated correctly from the hebrew and greek. And the sabbath command does not need to be re-commanded in the New Testament to still be applicable, there are plenty commands not re said in the New Testament. Kidnapping and beastiality are 2 examples. But again Jesus reinstated all the commandments given to Moses in Matt. 5:17-19. It's funny how Mainstream Christianity is quick to forget a commandment that God said to remember. Keep studying and pray for understanding because this guy is wrong on this topic.

@@YHWHsChild Please remember to cite complete Scripture references (as I have done below) to lessen the chance of my misunderstanding your point(s) “Colossians 2 was directed to Colossians who kept God's Laws, and Paul was telling them not to let anyone judge them for this reason. You can't say this is for jews, but then apply that verse to yourself because that was directed to people who observed keeping the sabbath, feast days or (sabbaths) New moons, and Paul wanted them to know that they were acknowledged by God for keeping these things in their heart, so "let no one judge you in sabbath, new moons, drinks or meat" simply means don't let anyone make you feel bad because you choose to obey God's laws and keep these days Holy. “ ->> 🤔 Well, firstly, I didn’t think I indicated that Colossians 2 was “…for jews…” but yes, I was applying it to myself. I don’t think Paul was even preaching to Jews at the time, having said he would go to the Gentiles fairly early in his ministry, his first missionary journey. (Acts 13:44-52, which was before the council at Jerusalem in Acts 15.) And I do make it a point to go to my current church and worship Jesus, usually on Sunday, though you might find that as “anathema.” Actually, I don’t see where it outright says that we are to “worship the Lord” on “the Sabbath.” Exodus 20:8-11 lists that we are to rest (“…not do any work…”), and it seems to me that, in that respect, we honor God by keeping the Sabbath rest. So, I shall “choose to obey God’s laws and keep (those) days Holy.” “It's not a free pass to not keep the sabbath, feast days, or new moons.” ->> Agreed. However, where did I say that I would not, or anyone else should not keep the sabbath, or any holiday or other special day they choose, and through which they honor God? Or a particular day of the week to worship Him?? “Please study the word to show yourself approved, because otherwise in your own words "you're an apostate" respectfully. I mean this with love, because when you love someone, you correct them, and try to bring them to the Truth, and right now brother God is using all of us in the comments to help you realize that you are completely wrong in this, and teaching others to do as you do and not observe the sabbath 4th commandment, the bible says you shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.” ->> Okay. So you are calling me “an apostate?!?” 🤔 Hhmmm. 🤷🏻 Fine. To my recollection, I HAVE BEEN reading & studying to “show (myself) approved” over the last three years or so more than at any time prior. And by all means, I want to stay open to God’s correction and the Holy Spirit’s leading in all such matters. “Because you have caused many to stumble, by not understanding that you are biased towards your churchianity views of the 10 commandments.” ->> “…biased towards (my) churchianity views…”. ??? 😵‍💫 What does that even mean? Are you saying that my church, not being YOURS, is not “the true” church? Are you certain that it is not the other way around? 🤔 (I refer to Matthew 7:2-4.) --------------------- In closing - for now - perhaps you can answer me this: Are you AND YOUR CHURCH (whatever that may be) stating that myself, and all others who call themselves “Christians” - who firmly believe that Jesus died to be the sacrifice in their place and bring them into a right relationship / right standing with God (see the example set forth in Genesis 3:21) - are you stating that it is WE who are “unsaved,” when we as yet have cast no such aspersions upon you?

In the early chapters of the book of Acts, the first Christians were predominantly Jews. When Gentiles began to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Jewish Christians had a dilemma. What aspects of the Mosaic Law and Jewish tradition should Gentile Christians be instructed to obey? The apostles met and discussed the issue in the Jerusalem council (Acts 15). The decision was, “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood” (Acts 15:19-20). Sabbath-keeping was not one of the commands the apostles felt was necessary to force on Gentile believers. It is inconceivable that the apostles would neglect to include Sabbath-keeping if it was God’s command for Christians to observe the Sabbath day. A common error in the Sabbath-keeping debate is the concept that the Sabbath was the day of worship. Groups such as the Seventh Day Adventists hold that God requires the church service to be held on Saturday, the Sabbath day. That is not what the Sabbath command was. The Sabbath command was to do no work on the Sabbath day (Exodus 20:8-11). Yes, Jews in Old Testament, New Testament, and modern times use Saturday as the day of worship, but that is not the essence of the Sabbath command. In the book of Acts, whenever a meeting is said to be on the Sabbath, it is a meeting of Jews and/or Gentile converts to Judaism, not Christians. When did the early Christians meet? Acts 2:46-47 gives us the answer, “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” If there was a day that Christians met regularly, it was the first day of the week (our Sunday), not the Sabbath day (our Saturday) (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2). In honor of Christ’s resurrection on Sunday, the early Christians observed Sunday not as the “Christian Sabbath” but as a day to especially worship Jesus Christ. Is there anything wrong with worshiping on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath? Absolutely not! We should worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday! Many churches today have both Saturday and Sunday services. There is freedom in Christ (Romans 8:21; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:1). Should a Christian practice Sabbath-keeping, that is, not working on Saturdays? If a Christian feels led to do so, absolutely, yes (Romans 14:5). However, those who choose to practice Sabbath-keeping should not judge those who do not keep the Sabbath (Colossians 2:16). Further, those who do not keep the Sabbath should avoid being a stumbling block (1 Corinthians 8:9) to those who do keep the Sabbath. Galatians 5:13-15 sums up the whole issue: “You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.”

Acts 20:7 was a saturday night meeting. Not a good proof. 1 Corinthians was instructing people when doing their finances or etc. to put away for the ministers. Not proof. Think about this: Acts was written like 20 years or so after its events yet the first day of the week is called 'the first day of the week' but the Sabbath was called the sabbath. If the sabbath was no big deal why would it be called the sabbath still 20 years later. This is probably one of the biggest overlooked proofs taht the sabbath had significance then.

Not that you use that verse to pass a plate around as if that's what Paul is telling you to do on a Sunday. You do know what Paul is actually doing there right? Secondly, they were gathering to break bread. Were they doing so on some special Sabbath (not Saturday) that the Bible never speaks of? The passage uses the phrase ἐξιέναι τῇ ἐπαύριον which only refers to the next DAY.

It seems as if the commandment that seems the simplest is the one that the “church” keeps saying that you can break. There are people that are Israelites that think that they are gentiles and there are gentiles that think they are Israelites. Do your research. There are several groups of people on the continent known as Africa that know who they are but so many Israelites abroad are lost. Prayers that you all remember who you are. Keep the commandments. I remember how after listening to three different testimonies of three different people who were all hard workaholics working all the times without days of rest at all, who got a clear rebuke or even a command to stop doing it, and to begin to keep the sabbath day, to choose one day per week most suitable for them and rest on it, then I understood that the sabbath day is still valid. However, the reason why easily 99% of Christians do not believe in sabbath day is that they do not even understand that have their sabbath day and even more than that, they have a whole 2 days per week, Saturday and Sunday, as days of rest and this is why God does not rebuke them anyhow for not keeping the sabbath day because they have twice the amount of rest per week that God gives us. So, the sabbath day is most definitely still valid but only true workaholics who works all the times, every single day in a week 365 days a year, like these guys I know (from the internet world) who get a clear rebuke or warning from God to stop working like that because it will exhaust them and harm them and begin to keep one day per week as a day of rest.

Corey doesn't really get some things correct. Even though the 4th Commandment doesn't mention church assembly on the Sabbath, Leviticus 23:3-4 expounds more on the Sabbath, and it very clearly states that it is the day of "HOLY CONVOCATION". Some translations say "SACRED ASSEMBLY" or "HOLY ASSEMBLY". It also states "WHEREVER YOU LIVE" or "IN ALL YOUR DWELLING PLACES" in some translations. That means not just Isreal/Judea. Just because you cross over the border, doesn't mean it would be invalid. Here I will post Leviticus 23:3-4 in NLT. "3 “You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the LORD’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live. 4 “In addition to the Sabbath, these are the LORD’s appointed festivals, the official days for holy assembly that are to be celebrated at their proper times each year." This comment is only meant to clarify that the Sabbath is indeed a day of church gathering, and for all locations, not just rest only and for Isreal/Judea only.

Rom. 8:7 shows why: carnal-minded don't want God to rule over them. It's easier for fake Christians to prefer Sunday over the commanded Sabbath because they view the weekend as being their time. When Sunday comes, they figure they're just as good with God by only giving up a few hrs at the most and then do whatever they want after that. Despite their assigning sacred status to Sunday, they don't even keep the whole day holy.

After that feast comes the Day The Day Of First Fruits (Yom Bikkurim) and Shavuot (Pentecost). We count the Omer for 49 days for seven weeks. In Acts 20 verse 7 the word Sabbaton is replaced by the word Week. Sabbaton 4521 Gr is translated into Sabbaths. The "on" at the end of the word makes it plural. Acts 20 verse 7 should have read "Now on the first of the Sabbaths...". Every week during Shavuot (Pentecost) is a sabbath. Plus the word "day" has been italicized. Meaning, it was added to Acts 20 verse 7.

@jimsime2325 Yes. We know from Scripture the disciples began to keep the first day of the week. Jesus is now our Sabbath rest, and we rest in Him every day. A Bible study in Hebrews, especially Hebrews 4 will explain all this.

Observe the Sabbath. Jesus is the Sabbath. Jesus died on a Wednesday rose on a Saturday. It also hits on the jubilee prophecy feast of Tabernacles Passover. Four and seven prophecy so many more. And we can't get that if we even get the Sabbath wrong. Because then people would understand we're in a sabbatical cycle of 7 years as we speak. God bless bro.

@@adamguy33 Jesus/Yeshua did not change the importance of keeping all of the Commandments. The two Commandments of Yeshua, loving God/Yahweh and loving your neighbor, are a summation of the Law and Torah. In fact, Yeshua says, “On these two Commandments hang/ depend all the Law and the Prophets/Torah” (Matthew 22:40). "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:18). “Do we then make void the law through faith? God/Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the Law" (Romans 3:31) . "He who possesses My Commands and keeps them, is he who love Me" (John 14:21). "Do we then make void the law through faith? God/Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the Law" (Romans 3:31). "His commandments are not grievous/burdensome" (1 John 5:3). “By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God/Yahweh has truly been perfected.” (I John 2:3-5) “Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). “If you love Me, you will keep My Commandments (John 14:15). “But prove yourselves doers of the Word/Torah, and not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22). “That you keep the Commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ/Messiah” (1 Timothy 6:13). “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God/Yahweh, and the faith of Jesus/Yeshua.” (Revelation 14:12). “Blessed are they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14).

God wanted his people to follow his guidelines and laws. So that it would be good for them in their lives. And how God would bless them through obedience and following him. Those guides and laws that he have in the Old Testament are for our good. If we would stop in rito's and follow, those do make sense, and they aren't hard to do. What was hard to do was the israelites continue to add their own multiple interpretations to stuff, and they add it unnecessary burdens onto the people, which made it. It's hard to bear and do those things that God wanted his people to do. God did not give us guidelines and rules and laws, so to speak, to Harmer or herders or burdeness those things aren't a guy to help us understand how to treat 1 another and his people, men added all that stuff to it, and then it became a Burden. That's what the profits was speaking against. It wasn't God's laws and rules. It was just the perversion of God's laws and rules that man did, and we are doing the same thing today.

Gentiles are not under the law of Moses , but under the law of Christ . love the Lord and love your neighbor. Paul said that all foods are permissible, give thanks to the Lord and pray over your food and it will be sanctified. Eat healthy and certain food in moderation is always a good idea. I don't understand why so many people go straight back to the law of Moses and neglect the freedom we have in JESUS. The truth of JESUS will set you free and the law of Moses will bring you under bondage for which you where freed from. I'm not talking about the moral laws. The kosher law was not just for the Jews. Gen. 7 shows Noah being told to gather clean and unclean animals, so it was universally understood by ppl in Pre-Flood world that they were not to eat anything that God designated as unclean. Pigs are filthy animals, and they eat whatever is put in front of them, even feces. Ppl who eat pork are literally eating everything the pig ate.

This is a great topic I've been wrestling with for the past couple months. It is only made more difficult by conflating the created order of the Sabbath being the seventh day given to man to rest, and then everyone lumping that in with the Mosaic law. Obviously we are not free from the created order, as that's why woman is submissive to man. So do we have to keep the Sabbath as a commandment? I don't believe so, but it's what God intended for His people all along. For the record Constantine was NOT a Christian man and did in fact outlaw Sabbath keeping for Christians, that's a fact not conjecture. Did he do this to bring together Mithraism, Christianity more effectively, or were there Sabbath keeping Christians? No clue on that, but Roman Catholicsm is not even Christianity so we do not need to bring in what they practiced in the 4th century on. RCC practices Mithraism/Babylonian Baal worship. The didache, Ignatius, reference Christians meeting on the first day of the week.

His channel is about the Hebrew Roots Movement or what he calls Torahism. If you're not familiar with the terms, you'll realize there are many well-meaning believers of our Lord who are confused and are misappropriating the Law. I hope you'll find his channel helpful.
