WHAT HAPPENED to the 32 Players Drafted before Jalen Brunson?

Спорт

Since Carmelo Anthony, we haven't seen a star shine brighter in New York than Jalen Brunson... But how come he was overlooked by so many teams, before being selected in the 2nd round of the 2018 NBA Draft?

2018 might go down as one of the greatest drafts of all time. MVP caliber players in SGA and Luka, multiple other all stars in Brunson, Trae Young, and JJJ. And a ton of quality starters in WCJ, MPJ, Ayton, both Bridges, Simons, Williams III, Robinson, and Vanderbilt

Yeah I really don't understand how people say that role players have the most overpaid contracts when you got Jaylen Brown getting $50 million a year next year, basically setting the peak of the Celtics until he gets a renewal in 2029. People are retarded when it comes down to crunching the numbers of a contract and it shows on almost every trade, free agent signing, renewals, and such. Owners don't care as long as that player is generating CASH, and management may be distorted to do these types of deals NOT because they want a championship, but because they don't want to be fired for not doing the popular thing. Basically, the average NBA fan is stupid.

I genuinely thought it was a bad deal. Mostly because if the Knicks are giving someone money, its most likely going to fail lol. To be honest I never really watched him or looked into him apart from the playoffs with the Mavs. Hes had insane efficiency since he was drafted though and his stats improved without dropping that efficiency which is hard for a lot of guys. I find shooting efficiency a great indicator of whether a guys getting better and going to be good. Looking back at it, genuienly shocked the Mavs didnt match. Theyre definitely regretting that now, hed be so much better than part time Irving and clearly Lukas getting fed up at the lack of help. Kinda reminds me of Lebron on the Cavs in the 2000s. Just didnt notice him, but credit where credits due. Happy to be proven wrong though, hes been really really good. Thats a few good moves for the Knicks now lol. Pretty out of charecter for them, but nice theyre actually making some smart moves vs. just hoping the next big Free Agent wants to come there simply because theyre New York lol.

Brunson is far better than Melo. Brunson makes his teammates better and all Melo did was take 30 shots to score 25 and took his teammates out of the game.
