Jon, do you have any thoughts to share on the conflicting rheology between what a PCE provides and what 3D printing needs? A high dose of PCE will have "creep" - a very low static yield, with not enough shear thinning. You can add components to offset that, but that is money you are putting into both sides of the mix, where if you can just avoid the PCE creep, it will be more cost effective and provide more opportunity to avoid shrinkage (less ultra fines). Thanks!

It’s just about dosage but also about type and accompanying chemicals.

@@IntelligentConcrete Now have a PCE compensating 3D-Admix if you would like to try some. It does depend on the particular PCE though. The main issue is to not increase shrinkage with the cancelling component.

When you are giving these ratios of fl. Oz to hwt, is the hwt accounting for the entire mix weight of sand stone and cement or just cementitious material

It’s only the hundred weights of cementitious (some admixtures it’s only cement). 608 lbs per cubic yard of Type 1L cement is equal to 6.08 cement hundred weights or cwt.

It seems like it but Whitney will put the breaks on that quick. I like to see how long I can grow it for before she says, “you need to go take care of that...”
