As a long time Nirvana fan, I remember the band always having good outlooks and beliefs on many levels aside from making great music. They were pro freedom, pro human rights and not close minded. Krist helped with activism also which I thought was cool. For him to think Trumps speech was worthwhile and for the good of American people is his opinion and honestly during that era of madness, was what was needed to be heard. Rioters, ANTIFA, anarchist wannabes, pseudo revolutionaries, random lunatics, etc running wild destroying other people's property is not the way to deal with anything. So much of that was counterproductive and helped nothing. That being said, do I think Trump panders to his audience? Of course. All politicians do. They say whatever you want to hear. Do they follow through? Rarely. They're all controlled by big business interests. Trump talks a good one, but he's for what's right for him and his business cronies first. Does he love America? Probably. Don't we all? That's besides the point. He said stuff that excited people and he said stuff that infuriated people. Kind of a stupid strategy, but in the end it doesn't matter who's in office. Republicans and Democrats are two wings on the same corrupt bird. Profiteering, power and control is the name of the game kids. We the peasants rarely benefit from any of it.

"They're all controlled by big business interests." --paull.6026 Yeah, in "capitalist"/Corporatist America. "Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power." -Benito Mussolini They complain about immigration, and all these problems, in the south? "They took our jobs?" Those are red states that dislike federal type government, what have they been doing all this time? Who has the worlds largest prison population? Communist China or "freeland" land of the free after decades of religious conservate control? How about money for health care, housing, and education from these "small government" conservates? I feel for the guy in nirvana he seemed like someone who didn’t take things to serious, like a protector I’ve seen him scoop Kurt up like a little hurt kid and when he tried to help and take him to the airport for rehab. He’s had to balance himself the whole time underground or sell out but all along he’s had a love for music it would have been easy on one hand to continue on in foo fighters and live in that space but would come with a lot of baggage left over from nirvana. I don’t know the guy personally but it seems an understatement but Kurt’s death really hit him hard and so didn’t want to be in the limelight with all the inevitable questions about Kurt etc but still enjoys playing and making new music, I slightly agree with his sentiment that I think he was trying to get across I don’t like trump but a lot of people all over the western world are fed up with the way things have been done and want change. I didn’t like trumps tactics or his inflammatory speeches but I think Krist was just trying to say we need someone strong like, like him to make any change. It seems if your in a position like him you have to be so careful what you say your life long views can be wiped out by one comment miss heard or represented. What I’ve taken from him over the years is do your own research, think for yourself, question authority and let’s try and find a way we can all get along I know that’s a pipe dream but I’ve always had respect for the way he has conducted himself over the years he’s been working quietly away on projects that he enjoys long may it continue.

He is a thinker not a follower and he only tries to encapsule the dynamic demension of politics, that is, he understands that what is truly important is not the idea or the followed by people but the actual outcomes of political choices. I reckon this mindset is better for most voters to choose and think about what kind of actions can truly impact society.

I personally think ranked choice needs further refining because it gave NYC an absolute skunk of a mayor. But everyone is their own person. I definitely agree with the fact that Foo Fighters would’ve had to try and live up to Nirvana’s name. After Kurt passed away, Dave made Foo Fighters with Pat Smear, half of the band already. I think if Krist joined that would cause a lot of issues, people saying that Dave would’ve been trying to replace Kurt or something and that they could easily move on without their best friend. Idk though, these are just my thoughts.

Anarcho-capitalism (also referred to as free-market anarchism, market anarchism, private-property anarchism, libertarian anarchism) is a political philosophy which advocates the elimination of the state in favor of individual sovereignty, private property, and open markets. Anarcho-capitalists believe that in the absence of statute (law by decree or legislation), society would improve itself through the discipline of the free market (or what its proponents describe as a "voluntary society"). In an anarcho-capitalist society, law enforcement, courts, and all other security services would be operated by privately funded competitors rather than centrally through compulsory taxation. Money, along with all other goods and services, would be privately and competitively provided in an open market. Therefore, personal and economic activities under anarcho-capitalism would be regulated by victim-based dispute resolution organizations under tort and contract law, rather than by statute through centrally determined punishment under political monopolies. Anarcho-capitalists are distinguished from minarchists, who advocate a small night-watchman state limited to the function of individual protection, and other anarchists who reject capitalism on the grounds that it is incompatible with social and economic equality. Anarchist communism (also known as anarcho-communism, free communism, libertarian communism, and communist anarchism) is a theory of anarchism which advocates the abolition of the state, capitalism, wages and private property (while retaining respect for personal property), and in favor of common ownership of the means of production, direct democracy, and a horizontal network of voluntary associations and workers' councils with production and consumption based on the guiding principle: "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need". Some forms of anarchist communism such as insurrectionary anarchism are strongly influenced by egoism and radical individualism, believing anarcho-communism is the best social system for the realization of individual freedom. Some anarcho-communists view anarcho-communism as a way of reconciling the opposition between the individual and society. Anarcho-communism developed out of radical socialist currents after the French Revolution but was first formulated as such in the Italian section of the First International. The theoretical work of Peter Kropotkin took importance later as it expanded and developed pro-organizationalist and insurrectionary anti-organizationalist sections. To date, the best-known examples of an anarchist communist society (i.e., established around the ideas as they exist today and achieving worldwide attention and knowledge in the historical canon), are the anarchist territories during the Spanish Revolution and the Free Territory during the Russian Revolution. Through the efforts and influence of the Spanish Anarchists during the Spanish Revolution within the Spanish Civil War, starting in 1936 anarchist communism existed in most of Aragon, parts of the Levante and Andalusia, as well as in the stronghold of Anarchist Catalonia before being crushed by the combined forces of the regime that won the war, Hitler, Mussolini, Spanish Communist Party repression (backed by the USSR) as well as economic and armaments blockades from the capitalist countries and the Second Spanish Republic itself. During the Russian Revolution, anarchists such as Nestor Makhno worked to create and defend-through the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine-anarchist communism in the Free Territory of the Ukraine from 1919 before being conquered by the Bolsheviks in 1921.

Anarch-capitalism is an insult to actual anarchism and as naive a belief system as there is. Unbridled capitalism along with private ownership of the means of producution with zero regulatory entities, is a disaster for the laborer and consumer. It's essentially right-wing libertarianism on steroids, and as well thought a system as a toddler would construct.
