Looking back on those 2 years they were both bad. I believe 2019 affected more individual idols personally where as 2014 affected more South Koreans overall. Especially after considering the 300 that passed from the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster.

Macrina Cruz well to sum it up, a lot of members left their groups, luhan & kris and BAP filing lawsuits, there were a lot of (drug) scandals, the ladies code car crash, leetuk’s dad’s murder-suicide, the 4minute concert incident, all of these happening during what they call the ‘awkward transition’ of kpop... and to add to that, the tragic sewol ferry incident which had a lot of students on board :// i’m sure there were a lot more that happened that i might have missed out. it might not be as bad as people say 2019 is, but we can’t deny that it was a really tough year ://

Everybody seems to forget that Oneus had two comebacks after their debut in 2019. First "Valkyrie", then "Twilight", then "Lit".

It's crazy how Ateez blew to up. I remember following em on instagram when they had a few thousand followers and I honestly thought they would be like a one hit wonder or something. Good for them.

In my own perspective,TXT comeback and BTS record breaking achievements made the best of 2019

I cried a lot throughout this video, I'm so proud of these hard working groups but I'm sad at the same time that we lost beautiful people. I hope 2020 is our year. 💙🤧
