I got into ioi because of jyp and pd 101 I liked ioi because they have a concept that is very common but it's like they changed that, ioi had alot of talented trainnes from everywhere. I got into the show mostly because of somi because she was on sixteen

It's not a mistake. They didn't choose to disband, you egg. The members were from different companies and the contract with Produce 101 was for a year. It's not like they made a conscious decision to disband on their own. Did you even watch the video?

I hate how people call for an ioi reunion and but they don’t even support the branched off groups like weki Meki gugudan and dia edit : ok y’all - if you want an ioi reunion and complain about one , you love the girls im guessing . If you live the girls you should support them in their branched off groups !! Dia is close to disbandment and gugudan hasn’t had a comeback in over a year . Yeonjung is did well on her own. WJSN are rising every single year, their album sales explode and they got their highest peak on Melon this year.

I still out of all the IOI members the most successful ones are Chungha and Somi

What about Yeonjung? Yeonjung's group WJSN/Cosmic Girls were the most successful out of all the Post-IOI groups, in terms of sales they are more successful than Chungha and Somi but when it comes to popularity its Somi annd Chungha.

WJSN already debuted before IOI. I think they used her to make the group more popular so I don’t think they’re really post ioi group

I.O.I was a forced to be reckoned with, most of the members became Main Dancers/Rappers/Vocalists of their respective groups after they disbanded, before Loona/SuperM, Produce groups were the Avengers of Kpop

The rigging part happened during the early eliminations (for odd reasons), it's kinda obvious that there was no rigging since the general public was satisfied with the group's final line-up.

Me too and when asked by American or Canadian media Somi Toronto Ontario region & Dallas-Fort Worth Chungha will have to answer the questions because they're both from the United States and Canada without the Korean to English Translator.

I'm disappointed Yeonjung's debut with WJSN wasn't mentioned when she left ioi temporarily..and her group was introduced poorly..she and her group was doing well like chungha.. she won mnet's V-1 vocal queen..she did lots of osts and her group is rising every year they even made 3 comebacks in 2019..their latest album as you wish has reached #1 on melon..and their album sales is on the top 5..BTW FYI Yeonjung's one of the MAIN VOCAL of WJSN not a lead vocal.

IOI is one of bias and for me they are the perfect group...

It was confirmed that the agencies who rigged the show, their trainees had already got eliminated on the first elimination of the episode of pd101 s1....the rest of the show was fair. So I dont see why they cant comeback when, thier agencies or themselves isnt part of it. Imma stick to waiting for their reunion.😊

Love all the girls but I'm more of a Yeonjung bias. ❤️❤️❤️ I've been supporting WJSN ever since Yeonjung joined. I'm happy that although she's the least popular member in IOI, at least, her group is doing really well rn. All those hates she got before took a toll on her and affected her confidence. Glad she's happier and getting recognition now. 😊

Really appreciate the cover over IOI who was and still is my favourite group of all time. However it was unfortunate that some details were glossed over or misrepresented in this video. The biggest one for me would be how IOI is still a creation from the Korean and International public’s votes as the investigations has found that while manipulation was present, it only affected the elimination and not the final group. It’s also sad that things like Pledis’s mistreatment/ forced hiatus on PRISTIN wasn’t mentioned or how Somi went missing for almost 2 years instead of just moving companies other. The IOI contract was also slated for 2 full groups and 2 units which was why the 4 members returned to their companies (which Yeonjung wasn’t mentioned for an odd reason). But thank you for mentioning Jellyfish’s lack of support for gugudan’s career. Despite that I really appreciate the wrap up especially the segment about Downpour being the perfect ending and I really hope we still get to see IOI again. In the meantime I hope more people support the individual careers of all the members (including their acting careers).

All of these groups were active/still popular when I first got into Kpop!Mblaq was one of the first groups I stanned. I'm so sad they're gone and that I never got to experience a comeback with SS501

@@Kai-chow I was shocked honestly. They were on a hiatus I knew. But I thought either they were gonna prepare for a comeback or pull off an Nu'est with joining the Produce series. I was actually looking forward to their comeback after watching 'Janus'.

Claire Richard I said second biggest meaning chungha is definitely first. As for somi..... we not gonna go there cuz girlie ain’t much, sejeong and mina lol gugudan is basically dead whereas wjsn has gotten 6 music show wins, 3 comebacks in 2019, about to start their 3rd concert, and many more also if you wanna talk in China then wjsn China line definitely beats and passes kyulkyung in terms of popularity and doing well and wjsn as a whole has a very huge fanbase in China

@@nellydahn254 I'm sorry to tell you but Sejeong is way more successful alone than Yeonjung is. That's not about groups but about the person. You clearly said Yeonjung "has" which is not true. Career alone, Sejeong surpasses Yeonjung from a miles away. I don't even understand how you can say she has the second biggest success when she isn't known at all without her group. And I must agree as for China line but then again, it's WSJN, not Yeonjung alone. And you clearly employed Yeonjung alone as a subject since you said "has". By the way, I'm a Rocket Girls fan so no need to tell me about their success. That's not because of their korean group if they are this popular in China, this is because of their charisma alone. And Rocket Girls's popularity is huge and helped a lot WSJN. I mean, without their China line, it would have been difficult for WSJN to continue.

Claire Richard HA ok sure yeonjung stays being the better vocalist, stays making more money, has done more ost then sejeong and her group is getting comebacks the only way she passes yeonjung is for the fact that she acts on the side other then that........ also I said yeonjung and her career with wjsn

@@nellydahn254 Well that's a fact, Gu9udan are slept on. But nowadays, it's pretty difficult for an all Korean group to gain fame. At least, that's what I think. Whatever, I think Yeonjung is quite overshadowed by her fellow members, even if she is in WSJN or in I.O.I. So that's not the right thing to say she has the second biggest success after I.O.I which is clearly not. Because getting money from solo activities is way more productive than group activities. So as a matter of a fact, Sejeong still do better than Yeonjung. BTW I'm following every IOI groups. And I'm a Yoojung's fan. So I don't think I'm being biased here but just seeing which member does well compared to others.

Unpopular opinion: IOI's disbandment was good for the girls since their careers are still continuing on. It may not be as successful but theyre growing on their own and thats okay.

I've been following Gugudan intensely since I started getting into KPOP early last year. I havent listened to that many groups yet but Gugudan's musicality and incredible vocals kept me hooked. I understand how disasterous their debut was but damn are their later albums super underrated imo. A few days ago their YT Channel finally updated after 10 months of nothing and leaving 2019 with no release others than Sejoeng's angelic return with her solo "Tunnel". Here's to hoping Gugudan 2020 comeback.

All the names have something to do with 101. IOI stands for Ideal Of Idol (it can't stand for a number) but its also taken from the name Produce '101'.

All PD groups name came from the name of series itself unlike IZ*ONE,,since their name didn't came to the series itself,,while I.O.I. WANNA ONE AND X1 are named after the show itself,,'IZ*ONE' meaning is the '12 girls become one',, IZ*ONE was formed in PD48,,but their name has nothing to do with the name of the series,,,
