Low key as a sophomore in high school I had to give a speech on one of my heroes and I actually chose kid President because I was so inspired by his message to make the world more awesome and I wanted to share that we can look up to people (even if they’re still kids and they still look up to us) but in the back of my mind I knew he would grow up one day and inherently i know putting people on a pedestal can be a lot of pressure and some people tragically fall... reality is we’re all human works of progress, but I’m still really proud of Robbie and the young man he’s become. Thank you so much! Hope you and your family are all doing well and staying safe! Lastly I heard there are two ways to make the world a brighter place, you can share your own candle or you can be a mirror for others! Wish you all the best!

OMG! I used to look forward to Kid President videos. I actually haven't thought about what happened to him until I came across this video. He made quite an impact on educators everywhere. :)

Love Kid President~ How are you Robbie? I will share this on my FB page...hope my students parents take a look with their children. You both have really been inspiring! Keep up the good work!

Since my kids (year 1) are working from home, a lot of the lessons we were planning on doing in person needed to be updated. My job is to handle PDH for Year 1 and Year 2 for my school, and some of our lessons are based around Kid President videos. Videos about kindness, gratitude, and giving back. They're lessons that kids need now more than ever.
