Australia's heart was broken when we heard of Heath's death. What a wonderful actor. As a young TV star, he broke a million girl's hearts. He was every mother's son. We will never forget him.

Love a knights tale. Have watched that one over and over again.

A Knight's Tale was easily one of Heath's best movies. Losing him was a true tragedy. He is sorely missed to this day & will always be missed.

Hard to believe it's been that long. We really lost someone special way too soon. Can u imagine what roles he would've played? The incredible reprotoire he would've acquired? We really missed out. So sad. Beautiful human in every way. Hope he's at peace

If Heath Ledger was such a brilliant comic villainous actor before thirty Imagine what he could do if he were still here?.

I'll never forget when I heard the news Heath Ledger was going to play the Joker in the Dark Knight; I (like many others shrugged) to the idea that he would be a good choice; I have never been so wrong. What an Actor. Truly missed

It's crazy to me how versatile and highly skilled he was in all his pursuits. Definitely a rare gem of a human being.

Heath was just on another level. His timing, subtle nuances, expressions and voice inflections were genius alone.

I just hope he didn't kill himself and it was an accident. He was a very talented actor. It's sad how people get on drugs and ruin their lives. May he continue to r.i.p.

He overdosed on mixing script drugs probably one pill or 2 pills two many and weak from pneumonia which is respiratory and the drugs messed its his ability to breathe normally..those pills slow repress all that slow the system down Could happen to anyone no addiction needed..

I always wondered about how Heath died. The media was yapping about his role as the Joker getting to him too deeply and psychotically and that it drove him to madness of sorts. I didn't know about all the drugs and other things that came to light later. So sad to lose such a talented and gifted actor. My favorite pictures with Heath were A Knights Tale and Brokeback Mountain.

he suffered from insomnia, he was also sick, he took a lot of medicine, he died because of this.

I remember the day he died. I wasnt a fan but i watched a few movies and was really looking forward to the dark knight. Not many actors deaths bother me but his passing did. I was in the midst of oppiate addiction and this really opened my eyes. It could have been me. I went to rehab 6 months later and sobered up. Rip Heath.

I remember seeing him with other things but Knight's Tale was where it struck me.....this kid is good. He is something special. I wish with all my heart that he had more time. The great performances that could have been.

Definitely loved him in 10 Things, loved that movie! (even memorized Julia's own "10 Things" from that scene 😂❤) As well as in A Knight's Tale. He was def one of my fave Hollywood actors. ❤

Not the biggest fan of the Nolan trilogy. Dark Knight is the best one for sure and Heath did an excellent job. You felt his presence throughout the film. His joker just captivated your attention. Very similar to The Hitcher. I just prefer Nicholson's Joker and Burton's world more.

Brokeback Mountain was not a romantic comedy. It was a romantic drama

It was a tragedy & drama about the plight of two gay men, both in the closet. The tragedy was that they had to hide their love or risk their lives. It was heartbreaking.

A cute, charming and very talented actor who wasn't notably recognized. Lost him much too early.

Ich habe keinen Zweifeln daran, dass seine Emotionen ihn überwältigt haben und er keinen Umgang damit fand, außer zu Medikamenten zu greifen. Anderseits war gerade seine emotionale Welt, die ihm zu der hervorragenden Schauspielkunst gebracht haben. Weder glaube ich, dass er der Gefahr seiner Entscheidung bewusst war, noch, dass er der glückliche Mensch war, den viele seiner Freunden und Kollegen beschreiben. Die ganze Welt schaute auf ihn und dabei wurde seine Not völlig übersehen. Spätestens wenn er selbst erzählte, dass er nicht länger als 2 Stunden schlafen konnte, pausenlos dachte, die Trennung von der Ehefrau und Tochter so schmerzlich war, hätte man ihm dringend raten müssen, innen zu halten und auf sich -ganz anders als mit Drogen/ Medikamenten- Acht zu geben. Ein großartiger, feiner Mann und Schauspieler.

His sudden death caused much grief among his colleagues in Hollywood. Also keep in mind Heath is still mourned by his loving and close family who lost a beloved son and brother. #HeathLedger was one of my favorite actors (and still is) when he passed away it was the first time I ever cried over a celebrity~ I was 20 yrs old

This guy was definitely one of my favorite actors.. love him and Batman and a Knight's tale but the one movie I sure wish you would have made would have been portraying Andy Gibbs. Often look at pictures of Andy Gibb's in different stages of his life as well as Heath ledger's life and I quickly found that both of these two guys had a lot in common and looks and I always thought he would be the one to do the best job of portraying Andy Gibb's life story. But when I found out he past a way it quickly send my soul in to a sad spin.. knowing that there's no one in the world that could have portrayed Andy gifts better than Heath ledger could have done.. R.I.P

That's what I never could understand. It said 6 different drugs at once. That's not always the case. Because anyone of those drugs stay in ur system for at least a week. So he could have taken 5 of those drugs within a weeks time. Then took the 6th drug on the day he died or even the day before.

"The best that, the best this", when are people going to learn that there is no such thing as "best" in art, in my opinion at least. His art is great because of his passion, commitment, soul, his preparedness, his curiosity, his perseverance to show his take on the Joker. Lastly because he worked hard not because he was the "best". That's what shows through the screen. No, Heath Ledger was not the "best" Joker, but a very, very great Joker who is immortalised in cinema.

My favorite Heath ledger Movie was The Dark Knight. I heard that if Heath Ledger was in The Dark Knight Rises, He would have been The Judge(i can’t stand when there are so many credits in a movie that i can’t find the credit)

I loved Heath’s performance in this movie, along with his talent in numerous other movie and TV performances. I wouldn’t go as far as to say his was the greatest portrayal of a villain in the history of cinema. As an Aussie I’m proud of his achievements in a lifetime that was much too short!

A knights tale I must have watched 20 times , and 10 things I hate about you. That song he sang to Julia stiles whi can ever forget him trying to make up for embarrassing her on their first date? Just a versatile and amazing young man and actor. Must have been a great guy as well I mean to get 4 other A-list actors to pitch in after his death to finish his film Mr magoriums wonder imperium. Joker is what he'll be remembered for though I think . R.I.P Heath you're truly missed.

I believe it was the combination of the drugs and not the intention of the drugs used. Unfortunately, and very sad, this has happened to others. We don’t know about the others because they are not famous people. He was too young and was very talented. I may have been troubled with depression and sleep disorders but he also loved his daughter too much to leave her intentionally. I can only hope and pray that those who are close to her have told her the same.

its a shame the only person that really knows what happened with heaths dead is that olsen twin, and shes not gonna tell the truth.i dont believe that he masseuse found his body i think olsen did, and theres a reason she called her bodygaurds before 911, to make sure the scene was fixed up to look like he did it himself when she was probably right there with him...and only someone with evil in them would let someone look so bad in death to make themselves look good..i hope it eats away at her until she tells the truth
