I understand that Ben Simmons hasn’t lived up to expectations, but I wouldn’t call him a bust. He made the All Star Game a couple times, All-Defensive teams, made a All-NBA team, has a Steals title, and was Rookie of the Year, so no, Ben isn’t a bust, he is a underachiever for sure, but he is still in his late 20s, so hopefully with time, something can happen

Ben Simmons biggest weakness is his motivation, he has the raw talent that everyone wanted but he simply don't use it and with that kind of gifted he should have his best year right now but he's too lazy and he doesn't try hard enough, his mentality is a problem that's hard to fix; if he can't change that, he is the bust

If he were to get healthy and lose weight and get into shape , he'd be in the MVP race the dudes not 7 ' 1 .and also he plays in one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NBA the pelicans . Which is another factor
