It’s such a shame that this once loving family succumbed to fame and fortune. I watched their program and loved how they all worked together, how they weren’t interested in material things , their ethics on make do and mend was the lure of this program . Then the bright lights beckoned, they appeared on This Morning with Phil and Holly , they were put up in a swanky hotel and they liked it , things started to change from there , they lost their way . Such a shame I really admired their work ethic , their way of life , their strengths, and their once much love for each other and their children . The grass is not always green on the other side .

I went to the farm and was made welcome by Ruben who showed me the tractor he was fixing up. Nice lad.

I really miss seeing the children. It was nice watching them grow up and develop.

I like watching reuban with his dad but I don't want to watch her on any program she came on cannon hall farm and I changed channels until I thought she had gone

Sadly most farms are leased to the farmers by the "landed gentry". I recently watched a documentary about a farm in the north that had been leased by the current family for the past 400 years!!! It was ALWAYS owned by a wealthy landowner.

Older man Clive he was only 21 yrs older than Amanda, there was a newspaper story some time ago well maybe 15 yrs ago of a old man of 70 yrs old with a wife of only 17 yrs old and they had 2 children, well he still had lead in his pencil. As for coming to his ex wife's aid what a decent man Clive really is, and the story was with the film crew arrival Amanda had eyes for a younger man. You marry a man have 9 children with him and then want a divorce, then Reuben get's into the show and guess what Amanda want's in as well. Is there no end what this woman will do for stardom her other TV shows were well nothing to crow about.

The fame might have got to both of them and the children, has anyone ever thought all the publicity and interviews that we saw on tv weren't helping any of them and after a while it just played a part in their marriage break up, they are still friends, that must count for something, if they hated each other totally they wouldn't be friends, sometimes your better not getting married, it saves a lot of money and stress while the solicitors are rubbing their hands together and seeing pounds signs in their eyes. 😟.

I've spoken with Clive, and he'll not openly admit to the fact he was drinking because of the pressures of media + huge family + running the farm + Amanda's multiple affairs. I'm in the farming community, and stories of the farmhands she ravaged when she was younger, right up to her cummons to farm delivery drivers and her dragging a cameraman to behind one of the roundbales. Her narcissism broke the programme and family, and the only reason she's returned to "helping out" on the roof, is because her attempts at a solo celebrity career, bombed. If Ben Fogle hadn't introduced them to the viewing public, she'd still be an obscure farmer's wife and the local bicycle.

At least Clive has the sheep to keep him company

Like Police Interceptors, if you pay attention to the edit, you can see through the bullshit and of course it was lathered up for the benefit of the feckless who can't read between the lines. Check out the one where a 'Firearms Cop' tries to convince the gullible how a starting gun revolver could be re machined to fire 0.22 calibre cartridges. Absolute fantasy.
