Boots and Heels meets Amanda Owen The Yorkshire Shepherdess

Are TV shows a real representation of farming? Does the press just cement a narrow stereotype? Is social media simply a burden?
In this episode, we join Amanda Owen- The Yorkshire Shepherdess - at her home in Ravenseat- as we have an honest chat about her success, facing criticism and the answers to our first mythbuster: the media.
Sat by the fire, cuppa in hand and the dogs asleep, we delve into her latest series of Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm, her new book Celebrating the Seasons and her successful UK tour.
Further greeted by Clive and the children, with Clemmy encouraging us to take Tony the Pony in our car, Amanda continues to open up about family life, the power of hands-on education and the pressures of conforming to the expected stereotype.
Plus, find out what ingredient Clive hates, Amanda’s view on Mary Berry and her favourite recipe to cook!

Thank you. For being Real and Being Yorkshire................I miss Yorkshire. It is beautiful watching your children grow and allowed to grow whilst getting things done.

Thanks for interview. İ am looking forward to watch the big family farm every weekend. They are kind, great, realistic and hard-working family. Have a good day from Ankara in Turkey.

I loved listening to Amanda. She is brilliant. Having 9 children and a farm to run she spoke openly and honestly. Well worth listening to. I for one am sorry the series has finished. We need a programme like this during what has been an awful couple of years.

This is my fantasy career. I worked on numerous horse farms when younger & though it is backbreaking work (literally sometimes:)) it is satisfying beyond. I love sheep, don't know a ton about them, but like I said it's a fantasy because I'm sure you don't just apply & get out there.

God died for us all. If we believe He paid for our sis on the cross we shall enter heaven and be saved. Eternity is a long time and the choice of where we go so important.
