I love how despite everyone calling Mario "Great Gonzales" even in front of Bowser, Bowser still has no idea who "Great Gonzales" is when Rawk Hawk mentions that he has the Crystal Star.

I like how he doesn't even do anything with Mario after defeating him (I don't know if he knows if he has the actually has the stars at thks point, but he knows he's been looking for them too) he just casually leaves for a spa

I mean, Bowser already left with his head up thinking that he beat him without tricks or anything, in LIVE, he may have felt so satisfied that he forgot that detail xd

I always thought losing this fight would be a game over since he wasn’t a Glitzville fighter

From what I understand, the dialog from Bowser is different in a couple of his intermissions should Mario lose.

I never lost to Bowser in this part of the game. That’s pretty crazy. I have often enjoyed playing this

They should add a dlc of Bowser being in the glitz pit and make it a crazy boss fight with him Holding the star rod again, beeing like; I found this at the one dollar store and mario is like; ULTIMATE POWER FOR 5 DOLLARS?!

I was already in a pretty dire situation when Bowser showed up and I still thrashed his ass. This dialogue must be at least somewhat rare.

But why was Bowser there anyway?

I believe it was because he's heard of a mustachio fighter wearing red (aka Mario fighting in Glitzville) from someone in the game
