This completely goes against Finding Dory because if Nemo had actually been dead and the events of the first movie were all in Marlin's head, then Nemo wouldn't have been in the second movie at all.

Nemo is still a figure of merlin imagination the idea is that nemo is an angle helping his dad find dory so nemos dad won't end up alone for the rest of his life

I feel that finding Nemo seems to be about something deeper but not quite this. And I feel like I'm the only person who sees it this way. The name Nemo means "no one", Dory means "gift of god" and Marlin means "sea fortress" or fortress. In both movies there is a lot of pointers to the idea of letting go and trusting the process. So in short the movies are about finding the fortress, the gift of God, by letting go of everything (which is depicted by dory, who has no real identification with anything and is usually the one saving the day by living in this manner). And you can achieve this by finding no one, the part of us which is child like and unattached to our identity.

Nice opinion, one small issue. Nemo interracts with other charracters in the movie.

And if you want to argue that the other charracters in the movie also have mental health issues so they may also be affected by halucination, then how do they have the same hallucination with the same looks, personality, backstory and family without even knowing anything about Nemo?

Yes this theory is dumb

Video mentions 5 stages of grief without even showing concrete examples for each stage. Likely because, for some stages, any example would be weak.

I feel like this theory would make sense but we have two characters going through something. When Nemo is in the tank he is not near Marlin therefore he exists and yes he is going through stages of grief and he puts all that pressure on his son but that in itself is the actual story. A struggling parent doing their best even though they are broken.

Fun fact : Strange how almost everyone saids Marlin is stressed out ,because in reality one single girl clown fish well be the queen of the clown fish for this to happen she stresses the others ,so she'll be the only one. However now ,and again two things well happen one she well alow one of the fish stay a girl ,so she well become next queen . The 2ed one is a boy clown fish well change into a girl, and try to fight the queen ,or princess to become next ruler of the clown fish . Scientist are not quite sure why this happens maybe she well pick ,and choose the stronger mail to mate with ,or maybe she just wants to be the only girl . Some frogs well do the same not enough Boys the change into girls ,or not enough girls they well change into boys . However the frogs don't need to be under stress to change.

Cap , the teacher definitely saw nemo and they had a conversation, one of the cutest most memorable scenes in the movie , nemo couldn’t pronounce the word anemone

Finding nemo is a movie about a little clownfish nemo and his dad marlin and a forgetful blue tang named dory

My favorite in finding Nemo was marlin and dory because it might be interesting but the beginning it was barracuda that Nemo’s not really dead but he just only alive ❤

To make the theory plausible. The only reality was after the attack. Then it sort of going in his mind repetitively. Though barracudas don't usually eat clownfish. It could be that it was actually hungry because it was alone and it stumbled upon their place. Since clownfish are cannibals. The mother's instinct did what she had to: she knew already her whole family was doomed, and so she went for her eggs and eat as much as she could before the barracuda takes them all out. Marlin on the other hand, may had extreme post traumatic experience that it lead him to believe the world he created in his mind was real. Then this goes on a repeat thereafter he wakes up from his passing out from the attack.

They chose Nemo for a different reason. Nemo's name is a nod to Captain Nemo from Jules Verne's novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Ok first of all, EVEN the voice actor of Marlin told us all that the movie finding Nemo, was a story of a fish that got lost and his father is going out to find him and also that just defeats the whole point of finding dory like is dory not real too? does dory really mean no fish LIKE IM CONFUSED, and in the finding dory movie ray even said he was half blind YEAH AND YOU SAY NEMO DOESNT EXIST BOZO..

Well i wouldn't say that Nemo does not exist, but i also think that mental health illnesses were secondary topic of Finding Nemo film.

The scene is completely different than what is described here, at no point does Mr. Ray not see a child or say that noone is with him or that Nemo does not exist. On the contrary, he TALKS WITH NEMO and asks him where he lives and welcomes him aboard. I have no idea why this video is straight up making up scenes, apparently there was not enough evidence to back up this theory. I really don't think the theory makes sense in general, sure it would be a really tragic twist, but there is almost nothing in the movie that actually supports it and a ton that would go against the theory. I think people just saw Nemo's name and were like "wait that means no one" and just interpreted way too much into it

Complete nonsense, literally interacts with other characters independent of Marlin, that acknowledge his existence. There's no hint, no wobble that indicates that this all took place in Marlin's head.

The male clown fish will eat their eggs if its not fertilized so if the egg where nemo came from is not fertilized, his dad would eat him

Yes your right but your missing something if you look up if barracudas eat clown fish they don’t but if you look up if clown fish eat their eggs, it says yes soooooo yeah

First off, the Latin translation for "nemo" is NOBODY, not "no one" so if for some unknown off the wall reason you were gonna translate the title to Latin..."Finding Nemo" to "Finding Nobody" NOT "Finding No One". Second, some people have ENTIRELY too much time on their hands, and a few screws not fully tightened to boot, and last, this is how conspiracy theories get started, most of which are unfounded and untrue.

This is completely against the fact at the start of the movie before the Berracudda attack Marlin's wife sais 'how about we call one Nemo.' Witch makes me think this theory is wrong.

mm no.. I don't believe this theory is true... it's a story of a father and son... 4:06 Mr. Ray talks to nemo about science... I re-watch the movie, and this theory doesn't make any sense at all.. Nope.. Nemo is not death... Coral wanted one of her child to be named "Nemo".. so I have to say this once here.. I am sorry I disagree with this theory, but one can create another story with their hypothesis anyway...
