Here's Episode 9 What Everyone Is Wearing in New York | Where Did U Get That. I'm reading all the comments and glad you like watching as much as I do making this series. Some have asked why I don't show myself in these episodes and it's because I'm always in front of the camera on KZread, Instagram and the blog and this is my one time that I've carved out to focus on others. It's my 'day off' video in a way from focusing on what I'm wearing and shining a light on what others are instead. Hopefully that helps!! Alost of what I'm wearing ends up on my Instagram anyway so you'll more than likely catch it on my feed on in my Instagram stories : )

I see other started filming videos like this but no one like karen, the way she talks to people and during the video is genuine and not forced or copied from someone else and thats why this videos are so great because they are autenthic and real

I’ve seen WPIW in Paris (from the Purple Palace) and in Amsterdam and I don’t think they are copying her, they just took inspiration and showing what people is wearing in each city. I personally love it because the world is big and I love variety

Same! I have such good stuff I call my “vintage H&M” that’s incredibly well-made, has European styling touches and is just amazing.

living on the countryside and being interested in fashion can be so hard to combine. people often look at you in a weird way even if youre not even wearing something super outgoing, just something theyre not used to. Your videos really help me find the confidence to wear whatever the hell i want so thank you so much and greetings from germany!

My favorite part is when the world changes to black & white, then we know you've gone down under. EFFIN BRILLIANT! I love how your colour stories perfectly descibe your unique pov of the city. It's like we're experiencing Karen's own private NYC. Sidenote: Idk about an ENTIRE night video tho. Kinda hard to capture true colors, hues, & textures in the dark. Twilight & Golden hour is usually the most adequate for filming, but I'm sure you could find a way make anything -twerk- translate. Lol. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!. This makes me miss my NYC life so much. You know sometimes when you watch KZread so many " influencers" wear the same thing from the same place and that's not fashion, there is very little fashionable style it's all robots on the same train. Karen's style and appreciation for style, not fashion but style shows Zara is not the definition of style and when you show everyday people who are knocking style out the box, it says style is what grounds you whether its all black, florals or strips. Thanks for showcasing the true definition of style. I been a rider since " Where Did You Get That", I knew you had a smashing idea in the making. Next up NYC at night then episode 10 😁

My favorite cashmere sweater....TJMaxx men's...had a huge hole in it on the right front ....I use a kilt pin to gather it up and close the hole. It's the leather pull on the zipper against the charcoal gray that I love. Clearance.

What I really liked so far with this series. Is that people are drawn to you to Karen and that's really special. It's Me agree! I’ve visited and from the moment I arrived I felt welcomed (airport customs guy told me I looked great) - set off my trip perfectly as I always get nervous at airport security with no valid reason to be worried! Lol the positivity of New Yorkers is so nice. I love how they’ll randomly strike up a conversation with anyone. So many times I had the encounter of ‘oh you’re British? How do you like nyc? It’s great, huh?’ Before I even had chance to answer! 😊😊

It's so lovely and encouraging to see mature ladies fully embracing their unique styles.

I absolutely love these video series. With everyone you do I love them more and more!! I am 59 years old and I wear exactly what I want and I don’t care what other people think LOL. I love seeing what older people are wearing. Their clothing is usually something they have had for years and is unique and may never be produced again. It is a whole fashion history lesson.

The coat at 8:30 is poetry! I would love an evening episode. I find that I notice it more when I am in cities abroad. London was the place where it hit me the most. Maybe you could do another episode focusing on very early in the morning? Thank you for another amazing and epic video! I like the idea below about an official documentary, but remember, never give up editorial control.

I love that we get to learn about different brands and also get reminded of brands we've forgotten!
