Maybe it is the opposite. After all it is the mind which create the pain through the senses. Being an animal with a less sophisticated mind, meaning thoughts process and analysing not as developed, they suffer less?? Any thoughts on that? 🙏💜

@@halcyon2864, I agree. The human mind seems to be more complex than that of animals. It could be assumed that the nervous system, being more complex, would cause the feeling of pain to be more intense. This reaction is part of our survival, as human beings. We are able to protect ourselves with an intelligent nervous system. You could argue that animals need to be able to be more tolerant of pain, due to having to survive in the wild. Our nervous systems might also be dulled over time, if we’re exposed to the same environment. Our power tolerance would be increased and our nervous system would become less and less responsive. Our senses would he heightened, but our nervous systems would dull down. I think the body integrates itself over time, depending on what factors we are faced with. Otherwise, how would we continue to survive in this world. I imagine domesticated animals might have more sensitive nervous systems, similar to ours. But animals in the wild probably have less complex nervous systems. Of course, this is just a hypothesis that I have not personally tested
Dear guruji , I have a differing opinion regarding this. Since animals dont brood over the past and worry about future, I their suffering is just physical - whenever pain is inflicted on them. Whereas humans suffer their minds more than their physical ailments. Moreover I dont think God made the whole universe full of suffering. Suffering is limited to spaces where the thought and emotions dominate.
God created carnivores to eat smaller animals!?
