The thing that stands out to me about Lee - and I only know any of the current self-defense luminaries from YT - is that he doesnt bang on about complex combinations or what to do if your opponent does X,Y or Z - he's all about getting the job done as quickly as possible and getting the hell out of there. The muscle memory required to summon complex motor skills at 3am is well beyond most of us - Lee knows that, and he knows exactly what we will be up against, Forget X,Y and Z - they're for the movies.

When you're shitting yourself, you've only got gross motor to rely on so the basics had better work in as many scenarios as possible and be fight enders each and every one of them...I did Combatives only for about a year...One of the best things i ever did and basic enough to always remember.

These two British Martial Arts inovators,,,changed my whole view on martial arts,,,and what really works,,,I don't want to be nasty, because I like karate,,,but I met more bullies in the Dojos than out on the street,,, and now just prefer to listen to Geoff Thompson, and Lee Morrison,,, they've been there done it..and teach real life violence..

Lee, and tim larkin share very important knowledge about how to deal with the street thug... They come in different colors n sizes. Thugs from south of the border have different values; and against woman as well... Murder is an accepted practice.. like in the Caribbean. Lived overseas, so know how it is... Violence is the coin of the realm in those areas. Lees no nonsence approach will save your ass Everytime!!! Many thanks to both to help keep folks out of trouble!!! I show my grandkids this stuff to keep'em safe.

Watching Lee Morrison demonstrate a technique is like watching someone get hit by a truck. It's over in seconds. That said his program goes deep into soft skills and psychology, which will usually keep you out of trouble in the first place. Geoff Thompson and Peter Consterdine are also titans of self protection.

Lee is really good at what does. And a great chap. I love Geoff too. I was in maximum security prison looking at long sentence and in the post a book came. With a very odd title " The Elephant 🐘 and the twig" it turned out to exactly what l needed to survive and make something positive in my time there. So a big fan of Geoff too. Notice how the real people, the ones who don't promote them selves and spread bs are usually a really lovely bunch of nice people

If you do martial arts, it takes years to be able to use it in a proper fight , you have to learn it , till you can’t get it wrong . That’s why it’s called master. Learn the basics really well , at least you will have half a chance in a real fight .

charly martell: I agree that Lee gets bent when people criticize him. So do I. This is the reason: when people think you should have all the answers for an attack, they are not being realistic. Lee knows that. He gives you what he thinks are the best tools and scenarios and it often seems that people go out of their way to find fought. Over all, he is a good dude.
